The best thing Tony did for Revolution '24 was book Sting for the very last spot of the night. Could you imagine something else closing out the show that was destined to be eternally remembered by the lasting images of Sting saying goodbye to the fans for the last time? Thank the Pro-Wrestling Gods that we don't have to. But also thank them for giving us a knockout to the soul with Ospreay/Takeshita. Thank them for kicking off the night just right with a heated fight between Danny and Christian. Thank them for FTR/BCC, and Kingston/Danielson. Thank them for all of Revolution 2024, because you know you're gonna remember it forever. |

Overall AEW Revolution (2024) is a masterclass of a show thanks to it's in ring action and the retirement of a true wrestling legend in Sting. Thank You Sting. |

The TNT Titles and International Title matches were both enjoyable watches, Kingston and Danielson put on an epic, as did the BCC and FTR. But, I'd honestly say that this show had a triple main event with Ospreay and Takeshita's spectacular, the excellent three-way AEW title battle and Sting's retirement match, which is one of the greatest, most emotionally-charged fights in the company's history. Darby's insane bump that actually pays off, Ric Flair eating shit one more time, Sting fighting through it all, and I can overlook all of that ridiculous no-selling. While it would've been great to have Sting's last hot tag, this was just as phenomenal. The promo Sting cuts after the cameras stopped rolling was honestly beautiful, and a perfect way to cap off not just the show, but Sting's in-ring career. Thank you, Sting. Thank you. |
