[6.0] "Wieder eine sehr lange Show mit 14 Matches. Brauche ich jetzt nicht jeden Monat und ich musste die Show auf 3 Tage aufteilen. Die Undercard war in Ordnung. Danach folgt ein größerer Comedy-Teil, den ich hier sogar ganz unterhaltsam fand. Machida vs. Hirata war ziemlich gut gemacht aber auch das Match mit Chiitan war unterhaltsam. Akiyama vs. Shunma fand ich ganz gut, ebenso das Universal Title Match. Das King of DDT Prelude war solide und der Main Event ganz in Ordnung. Yuki Ino zeigt, dass er eigentlich ein ordentlicher Wrestler sein kann, wenn er nicht seinen Pheromomes-Kram durchzieht. Fand den Comedy-Teil im Main Event zu lang, sonst war es aber ganz nett."

[6.0] "A little long, and DDT feels as cold as it's ever been since the pandemic, but there was still some classic DDT fun here, in particular, Hirata vs Machida. Endo and MAO was the best real match, and Chiitan is already more hilarious than Pokotan simply because the eyes on the costume are so much more expressive. Pretty regular DDT event ... which I'm not sure you want for your Yokohama Budokan show. Regardless, DDT is definitely staying true to being DDT, you can't deny them that."

[7.0] "Für mich war DDT Mega Max Bump 2023 noch eine solide Show, allerdings eher mit Richtung nach unten als nach oben. Es gab zwei Matches, die mir gefallen haben. Das war einmal der starke Co Main Event, der für mich auch das MotN war. Zum anderen war es das Match zw. Hirata und Machida, was ein richtig gutes Comedy Match war und mir in dieser Sparte deutlich besser gefallen hat als andere Comedy Matches auf der Card, inkl. des Main Events, der comedytechnisch schwach war, aber immerhin bei den wrestlerischen Szenen nochmal glänzen konnte, sodass es immerhin ein passables Match war. Die Länge der Show war dem Event auch nicht zuträglich. Es würde DDT mMn besser tun, wenn sie ihre Events auf ca. 4h kürzen würden."

[7.0] "Good show, but with just too many flaws. Main event and MMA Challenge are the only matches I have no problems with. Some of the matches felt out of place on PPV and the event went for a bit too long."

[7.0] "I've fell off a bit with keeping up with DDT this year but this was quite a fun show that's got me making sure I'll catch King of DDT, so credit to them there. Good opener with the young dudes. Saki gets a dub. The Dance vs Kickboxing match with the Namba antics was hilarious. MascotMania with Chiitan and a surprise Pokotan. Shunma/Jun was fun. Endo/MAO was a bit forced and overlong but the finishing stretch was good, and they are two of my favourites on the roster so it was a cool match to have at all. I don't really get why they bothered with this Iino taking things seriously story at all if the main was going to devolve into Pheromones comedy anyway but there was some good stuff between him and Hino still and they're both good at comedy stuff at least. I'd go an 8 on this if I liked the main event more and didn't still think DDT shows are way too long."
