I also think they need to have more solid matches, although it's comprehensible to be sloppy when you're very mew to the business. The characters are great and the crowd is awesome. Only with one year of existence, DPW introduced us to many great young wrestlers and rose to the very top of hottest indies right now. I also think they should get a bigger and better ring and also a better commentary team. |

| 8 | 25.12.2022 | 5nicoShuffle | 8.0 | Final PPV offering of 2022 from DPW is yet another good one. [1st match] Brilliant opener; fast-paced and spontaneous. Both guys worked great together and the match flowed seemingly effortlessly. **** [2nd match] Super athletic contest, lots of flips and dives, great stuff. ***¾ [3rd match] A well-matched intergender match. **¾ [4th match] Must say that I wasn't looking forward to this, and early stages weren't great, but it got better, having the fans really into this match helped immensely. Emi messed up her finisher a little, but that's only a small pick. *** [5th match] Strange match in-parts, it looked like the guys were a little lost at times. Some crazy bumps by Bojack, and interesting offence by Lucky Ali are the highlights. **¾ [6th match] Two of DPW's finest really stole the show here. This was great and had loads of creative moves & counters. ****¼ [7th match] Not bad, but I wasn't all-that invested. Glad that Ku finally got a title in DPW, but not sure why they got the shot instead of The WorkHorseman? *** [Main] Tankman basically toyed with Everett like a Cat with a Mouse, until Everett used creative stuff to come back at him. Good match, but not sure why this was the Main? *** Good end to what's been a great year for DPW. |

| 10 | 20.12.2022 | Edge | 8.0 | Die 1st Anniversary Show war wieder eine gute Show von DPW. Sie stand im Zeichen der Titelwechsel. Den Beginn machte man mit einem ganz soliden Match. Das erste relativ gute Match war Brooks gegen Kozone. Die beiden folgenden Matches waren passabel. Emi Sakura konnte den Women's Title von Raychell Rose gewinnen, was ich so durchaus nicht erwartet habe, aber natürlich hat man Emi Sakura mit den Siegen über Mizuki, Mei Suruga und Jungle Kyona gut dafür in Stellung gebracht. Es ist ihr erster Titelgewinn in Amerika. Lucky Ali gegen Bojack war dann ein sehr solides Match, welches etwas hinter dem 3-Way mit Kidd Bandit zurückblieb. Dann kam das für mich beste Match der Show mit Takeshita gegen Colby Corino, welches stark war. Im Tag Team Titelmatch ergab sich vrmtl. notgedrungen eine Änderung, da die Workhorsemen nicht vor Ort waren. Die kurzen Promos vor dem Match haben mir gefallen. Violence Is Forever waren die Überraschungsgegner und konnten NDA auch besiegen, was mich dann doch überrascht hat. Eigentlich war alles für die Workhorsemen angerichtet. Mit Violence is Forever macht man zwar auch nichts falsch und natürlich kann man das so durchaus bringen, da sie zuletzt einen Draw gegen die Workhorsemen hatten und dennoch hat mir hier der Moment des Titelgewinns für die Workhorsemen gefehlt. Mal sehen wie sich das ganze weiter entwickeln wird. Das Match war aber gut. Der Main Event war dann auch richtig gut. Andrew Everett konnte Calvin Tankman enttrohnen. Für Tankman war es das erste Match bei DPW seit 4 Monaten. Vllt. wird er nicht mehr so regelmäßig bei den Shows dabei sein können. Ich hoffe aber darauf, dass wir zumindest noch ein Match zw. Tankman und Bojack zu sehen bekommen, wie man vor einigen Monaten schonmal anteaste. Everett hat sich den Titelgewinn verdient. Die Szene ganz am Ende der Show mit Jay Malachi und Kozone war auch interessant. |
