[10.0] "The best wrestling show I have ever seen live and maybe my favorite PWG show ever. The variety of wrestlers was amazing. Mike Bailey fighting through was amazing. Amazing matches all throughout the card. I gave 7 out of the 10 matches 8/10 or higher. There was three 9/10 matches (Mike Bailey vs. Shun Skywalker, The JAS vs. Evil Uno, Jonathan Gresham, Kevin Blackwood, Michael Oku, and SB KENTo, and Mike Bailey Konosuke Takeshita). Multiple amazing moments (Mike Bailey and Konosuke Takeshita's post match, Chris Jericho making a surprise debut, 2point0 returning to PWG, Bryan Keith being a replacement to getting please come back chants, and more.)"

[6.0] "A wholly alright show, with many simply good matches but nothing truly impressive. Bailey vs Grace was alright. Grace's power displays and hand-targeting were good, but the usual annoying Bailey-isms of hokey selling and copy-and-pasted moves/spots held it all back. **3/4. Takeshita vs Titus was a standard Takeshita US match. It became quite a forced epic with the non-stop trades and purposeful no-selling, but the timing of their counters plus their general displays of athleticism and precision allowed it to still be quite fun. ***1/4. Keith vs Masha was good. Masha was a bit too sloppy and weak at times but still had some good moments, while Keith was all around impactful and smooth. I didnt need this to be so unrealistically 50/50 as it was, but I still enjoyed their resulting spots and exchanges. ***1/4. Bandido vs Komander was definitely messy but still quite good. It was initially a fun and mostly very smooth lucha spotfest that then became quite uncharacteristically aggressive, which I liked, but they started botching quite a bit after that already awkward early 3-count from the ref. Still a fun spectacle. ***1/4. Bailey vs Skywalker was another quite good match. Bailey's copy-and-paste performances bore me, but he wasn't *as* formulaic here, and Skywalker's heel-character work and offence were both mostly really good, leading to some some fun trades and counters in the 2nd half. ***1/4. Taurus & Latino vs Aramis & Horus was a totally mindless spotfest. They barely put any effort into making their interactions look remotely competitive, but I'll admit that their various stunts were occasionally still pretty fun. Alright match overall. ***. Takeshita vs Komander was okay for its time. Komander was terribly off at the start but improved as Takeshita took control, making for some fine exchanges/spots with solid chemistry. Takeshita's bridging pin for the sudden win was a nice surprise. **1/2. Bailey vs Keith was pretty good and MOTN. Keith was really good with his various strikes, all which had strong impact and timing, plus good character work to go with it all, and Bailey was a good partner without delving into his overly excessive/generic side too badly. ***1/4 - ***1/2. The 10-man tag was a mindlessly fun spectacle. It mostly had the generic formula of wrestlers constantly cycling in and out to showcase their stuff, making for some okay spots and exchanges, and then the slow-motion segment was really dumb but undeniably charming. ***. Bailey vs Takeshita was the exact match youd expect when you close your eyes and imagine what a match between them would look like: lots of strike trades, lots of both guys mindlessly going through their signature spots/moves, and some moments of epic-match bait. Both guys still had the minimal talent required to make this somewhat enjoyable, but its kind of worthless considering how immensely similar it is to every other match they've both had over the last year. ***1/4."

[7.0] "Unlike this event, the first night of BOLA 2023 had nothing but tournament matches, yet the second night felt much more monotonous. The story of Mike Bailey is so nice in real life, yet was such an overkill on this show. Speedball vs. Skywalker was really the only match that told a good story and was pretty much the best bout of both days for me. Right after that we've seen a tremendous lucha tag match, which totally blew me away. JAS vs. indy folks was the right type of sports entertainment. Other tournament matches were fine, but I was expecting much more from BOLA this year."
