[5.0] "The opening Chamber match was quite good. Orton/Shane was decent. The other three matches aren't worth the time they take up. So this is far from what I'd call a good show, but there is enough decent action to save it from the trash can. The final Chamber made my eyes roll, Swagger and Finlay was bad, and Michaels/JBL was generic. Watch the first match and maybe the second if you are a huge Orton or Shane fan. This isn't a card you really need to see in its entirety."

[6.0] "Other then a really crappy Swagger v Finlay match that did nothing for me this show is pretty damn good, JBL v HBK is the lesser of so as it got a mid rating from me but the other 3 matches are so much fun here the two chambers feel so different but still both were so good, Shane v Orton was really surprising to me at how good it was Orton looked great here and Shane brought the fight"

[7.0] "No Way Out 2009 is let down by the ECW Heavyweight Title and All or Nothing matches, because aside from those whatever bouts, there's two good Elimination Chamber matches here (the second of which I'd call great), and a pretty good No Holds Barred match. Despite those two matches being the shorter ones on the card, it sadly does affect the viewing experience."

[8.0] "Fantastic story told with Edge throughout the night and the two chamber matches as a pair are some of the best ever. Russo would need a change of pants after all those swerves. Orton/Shane is a hidden gem but the other two matches are completely forgettable. Also it's easy to feel fatigued after watching two half hour chamber matches on one show. If there was another decent match peppered in I'd absolutely call this a masterpiece of a PPV."

[5.0] "[5.3] I thought the show started quite well with an entertaining Elimination Chamber. Taker & HHH going at it at the end for the belt was pretty fun, albeit with extremely predictable sequences of signature moves. The Shane Orton match was a fairly good brawl too. There was something strangely subdued about the rest of the show - I didn't think Swagger Finlay or Michaels JBL were particularly bad matches but neither the crowd nor the commentators seemed to care. The main event was a decent end to the show, though, and it was good seeing Cena eliminated leaving another guaranteed title change. Edge winning was quite fun considering his start to the evening. Nothing but action really on this show, much better in that respect than the three hours of ads with incidental wrestling served up by Elimination Chamber 2026."

[4.0] "Man, WWE was in such rough shape in those days. Whoever was in charge decided to build the entire show around Edge being shoved down people's throats (making Cena look like a puppy next to him) and therefore rendered both Chamber matches meaningless. The opening chamber match was worthless by the time the second one started, and the latter was spoiled before the bell even rang. Stupid. Completely stupid."

[7.0] "A two match show with the luckily the two chamber matches being the best. Edge just showing up in the last match is odd but fitting for his character so it's easy to ignore. A decent prelude to Wrestlemania."

[10.0] "Swagger Vs Finlay was weak and JBL Vs Michaels all or nothing was bad, but Orton Vs Shane no holds barred was good, both elimination chamber matches and everything revolving around Edge weaselling between both chambers was just incredible. Overall WWE No Way Out (2009) is a brilliant show."

[7.0] "A very big highlight on the way to WrestleMania with Orton once again being the main talking point of it and no wonder since he's been great here, delivering a very good story-driven match against Shane who also held his own there. The rest of the bouts also kept a high level. Both Elimination Chambers were similar to each other, but both had a very good structure so I didn't mind it and the story of Edge inserting himself into the main event was very clever. Some great performances, surprisingly quick eliminations of the champions and fantastic little contests between the final two guys. These were the high points, but also both Swagger vs Finlay and Michaels vs JBL were pretty decent, although not something too memorable. So overall a very good show and a lot of enjoyable matches all around."
