Danach kann Damien Priest zwar unter lebhafter Anwesenheit von Austin Theory seinen Gegner Balor besiegen, aber erinnerungswürdig ist die Partie mitnichten. Wer sich übrigens immer schon gefragt hat, warum man Commander Azeez so selten im Ring bewundern durfte, bekommt eine so plausible wie beschämende Begründung in Form eines Matches gegen den Edeltechniker Omos. Nach Nikki ASH ist nun also Liv Morgan plötzlich Ripleys BFF. Da wäre ich aber vorsichtig. Zwischen Rollins und Owens bröckelt die Freundschaft am Wrestlemania-Fleischtopf klar erkennbar. Die Mysterios marschieren durch das Hurt Business und zeigen sich auch widerspenstig gegenüber Miz & Paul. Unterdessen tut sich Jacksonville schwer, Edge wirklich zu hassen. Auch wenn er mit 'Judgement' erstes Namedropping betreibt, so ist seine Promo trotz Blaulichts ausgesprochen blass. Brauche ich noch eine Belair-Powerdemonstration? Hm, nö. Wenigstens stellt sich Lynch als nicht aussichtslos heraus. So wie Orton und Riddle aufeinander abfahren, könnten sie sich auch ein Zimmer nehmen. Auf die Street Profits ist man dann aber mittlerweile deutlich weniger gut zu sprechen, was auch immer noch für die Jungs von Alpha Academy gilt. Ein Tribute-Video für Razor Ramon erinnert uns an bessere Zeiten, so traurig der Anlass auch sein mag. Zum Ende der Show scheitert Seth Rollins mit seinem Vorhaben, seinem angeblich besten Kumpel noch die Mania-Konfrontation mit Steve Austin aus den Händen zu reißen. Das ist eine akzeptable Partie und der richtige Gewinner, denn schließlich hat Owens da lange und viel für gearbeitet. Das alles ändert aber absolut nichts an der Tatsache, dass die meisten Stories unglaublich wackelig und die anderen Matches dieser RAW-Ausgabe fast katastrophal scheißegal wirken. Wenn man den Ofen nicht so langsam vorheizt, wird das bei Wrestlemania nur ein lauwarmer Fön. |

Eigentlich war es vielleicht nicht die beste Idee, zwei Heels gegeneinander maineventen zu lassen, aber das Publikum reagiert doch ganz gut und wir hören sogar einen This is Awesome Chant. Edges Heel-Charakter funktioniert für mich wirklich gar nicht. Ab einem gewissen Status im Business kann man als gestandener Performer nur noch schwer Heels verkörpern, weil die Fans einen so verehren. Jericho gelingt das ab und an ganz gut, weil er eine neue Figur erschafft, die als Heel logisch funktioniert. Edges Figur hier ist einfach nur wirr. Irgendein Geschwafel über Omnipotenz und Gnade, während er von blauem Licht angestrahlt wird. AJ Styles' Tweet später in der Show ist da schon leicht shoot-artig, als er sich darüber lustig macht. Ford-Riddle war auf einem guten Weg, aber endet dann mit einem Angle. Es wird wohl auf das nächste Multi Men Tag Title Match bei WrestleMania hinauslaufen. Zu guter letzt sei auch noch kurz die Story mit Logan Paul, The Miz und den Mysterios erwähnt, weil ich es immer vergesse, über sie zu schreiben und dann bei der nächsten Episode daran erinnert werde, indem ich die Recap Videos sehe. Ja, diese Story gibt es auch. Genug gesagt? |

Stone Cold hätte ich zwar lieber in Person in der Halle gehabt, aber das Video war schon ganz lässig. KO macht das weiterhin gut und liefert im Zusammenspiel mit Rollins einfach ab. Aber auch dieser liefert die entsprechende Tiefe für die Story und präsentiert wieder einen der interessanteren WWE-Charaktere dieser Tage. Das Booking bei Balor ist nicht Champ-würdig, hätte Priest lieber auf einem anderen Pfad gesehen. So ist da wenig Drive drin. Ähnliches gitl für Omos, der ohne sichtbare Verbesserung von Match zu Match stolziert. Auch die Mysterios und Miz & Paul sind nicht irre interessant. Belair vs. Doudrop ist im Ring passabel, aber die Paarung ist auf. Post-Match-Heat von Becky funktioniert hingegen gut. Auch die Story um RK-Bro und den Profits ist unterhaltsam und sorgt dafür, dass man am Ende im soliden Bereich landet. Alle Parts von Rollins, KO, RK-Bro und deren Story nehmen zusammen mehr als 50% der Show ein. Das ist schon enorm. Edge macht auch viel richtig, aber ohne AJ hätte ich das per se nicht die zweite Ausgabe in Folge gebraucht. RAW fehlt etwas der Heavyweight-Champ, der der Show seinen Rahmen gibt, aber KO und Seth machen das schon einfach gut. |

Not sure where there going with Theory & Balor. Omos vs Azeez was just a bad squash match, which makes no sense for long term booking of Omos. The man will beat everyone in this sense. Loved the segment with Rollins & Owens. Morgan & Zelina was a typical 2 minute woman? s match just more about Carmela on the outside. Another good segment with Rollins & Owens in the ring building to the Main event. Hurt Business vs Mysterio? s was the worst match of the night the concentrated on Logan paul and not what was happening in the ring, with another attempted Beatdown. Edge had a decent segment building towards his delusions and his match with Styles. Doudrop vs Belair was actually a decent match, both got offence and the finish was decent as well. Becky? s beatdown at the end looked grim(in a good way) A weird celebration sequences followed for RKO, interrupted by the Street Profits leading to a match between Riddle & Ford. This has the potential to be a good match but it was cut short with a inference from otis and a beatdown. The Main Event was MOTN, some great back and forth. A near count of for Owens, it was very competitive, Rollins had a visual pin but ref was down. Stunner win for Owens which was very definitive. |

There were still too many interference endings when there were better ways to set up stories, the women's matches were again very short, and there were only a couple of good matches, but they paced the show pretty well and kept it watchable throughout. Nothing special, but solid. |

Stone Cold hatte auf Owens letzte Woche geantwortet und Owens ging unspektakulär darauf ein. Der Opener war schlecht. Balor wird als Champ direkt als ein Volldepp dargestellt. Ich verstehe nicht was Theory da zu suchen hat. Wird er etwa zwei Matches haben? Commander Azeez vs Omos war schlecht. Der einzige Gegner in Omos Größe. Hier sieht man tatsächlich die Stärke die Omos hat aber mehr war da nicht. Die Women waren schlecht. Carmella und Zelina sind sich nicht mehr so einig. Schön das Liv siegt. Rollins hat einen Plan bei Wrestlemania doch dabei zu sein. Er möchte seinem Freund seinen Spot beim PPV wegnehmen. WOW. Wie dumm einfach. Hurt Business vs Mysterios war schlecht. Edge mit neuer Musik passend zu seiner düsteren Art mit einer starken Promo und eine der wenigen Lichtblicke in dieser Show. Die Women #2 waren schlecht. Wieder einmal wieder Doudrop von Bianca geplättet. Becky rächt sich nach dem sie vom Zopf Biancas ausgepeitscht wurde. Ford vs Riddle war in Ordnung. Sowohl das Segment als auch das Match waren ganz solide. Alpha Academy sind nicht abgeschrieben und griffen in das Match ein. Der Main-Event in Ordnung. Alles bleibt so wie es ist. Owens hat einen sicheren PPV Platz und Rollins nicht. Es wird ja gemutmaßt das Cody Rhodes zurückkehrt. Er ist praktisch die einzige sehenswerte Option die Rollins hat. Mal sehen was kommt. Die Show hingegen war extrem schwach. |

He was one of the charismatic wrestlers that has ever lived and set a legendary foundation to charisma in wrestling. "Bad times don't last, but bad guys do", said the legend. Godspeed to him! The opening promo started with a bittersweet tribute to Scott Hall but ended as a solid response from Owens ahead of his face-off with Stone Cold. Bálor vs. Priest was a confusing angle where Theory involved either without any reason or overexposing him with possibly two tracks to 'Mania. Plus, Bálor losing this early is a red herring to his reign as US Champion. Omos & Liv had their squashes done as expected while Rollins trying to steal Owens' spotlight was a silly angle. The Mysterios had a fun sprint while Edge's promo was so better than last week with a completed presentation of his darker, egotistical version which feels fresh since his return. Belair vs. Doudrop was fine but a repeat of several weeks & it was a way to set Lynch's return & assault on Belair. RK-Bro were ought to have a fun celebration until Street Profits confronted with a shade of darkness in them which is fresh too. The immediate match b/w Riddle & Ford was fun until the least wanted finish. The main event, even though having a ridiculous story, was very good and one of the elements that saved the show from shambles. The main event, the tag division's status & Edge's footing as the new heel were the noteworthy ones of this episode which was certainly decent at best. |

Finn Balor already just feels like another guy and looked like a complete dork. Overall it was disappointing, and the road to WrestleMania continues to be a bumpy ride. |
