| 19 | 25.12.2021 | Telecine | 8.0 | Gute Ausgabe von Dynamite mit drei größeren Highlights. Der Opener zwischen den Young Bucks und Death Triangle ist direkt das erste. Die Young Bucks zeigen einige ihrer Spots als Heels nicht, was nur gut sein kann. Jericho gegen Harwood war gut und Mike Tysons Punch gegen Wheeler sah aus, als hätte er ihn legitim ausgeknockt. Und das dritte Highlight ist das Falls Count Anywhere Match zwischen Darby Allin und Matt Hardy. Man sieht Darby für ein paar Sekunden vor Beginn des Matches die Freude an, die er verspürt, mit Matt Hardy gemeinsam ein Match zu bestreiten. Das Match selbst enthält vielleicht ein paar Kickouts von Darby zu viel, speziell der Twist of Fate mit dem Stuhl um Darbys Hals hätte einen Three Count verdient gehabt. Aber Darby wird dargestellt als jemand, der sehr viel Zeug einstecken kann. Das ist ja eigentlich gar nicht mal so schlimm. Als Randnotiz sei gesagt, dass Kris Stattlander und Where is my Mind von den Pixies perfekt zusammen passen. Sollte sie weiterhin mit den Best Friends gemeinsam auftreten, freue ich mich auf weitere Entrances von ihr mit diesem Song. Weniger gut gefallen mir die Segmente mit dem Bullet Club um Kenny Omega, den Good Brothers und Don Callis, die irgendwelche Kameramänner niederschlagen. Das wirkt ein bisschen zu sehr wie bemühte und aufgesetzte Coolness und erinnert eher an schlechtere NWO Parodien. Alles in allem eine extrem kurzweilige Show. |

Ein atemberaubend gutes Tag Team Match zwischen den Death Triangle Jungs und den Young Bucks. Die Young Bucks gefallen mir mit der neuen Gear und ihrem Auftreten sehr gut. Haben wirklich eine noch bessere "Version" von sich rausgeholt. Ganz klar ein 5 Star Match (*****). Jade Cargill vs. Red Velvet beruhigt dann diese Dynamite Ausgabe natürlich wieder nach dem Hammer Tag Team Match. War Solide und Jade Cargill geht mal wieder Over. Squash Match war okey. Chris Jericho vs. Dax Harwood war gut. Mike Tyson spielt eine Gute Rolle und wird am Ende des Matches zum Ehren Mitglied des Inner Circle's ernannt (***1/4). Women's Match danach war Schwach. Main Event war nicht wirklich gut. Sehr Chaotisch und bis auf Viele Stuhl Schläge gegen Allin, dem Leg Drop Hardy's von der Leiter und der Coffin Drop gegen Matt auf dem Kommentartoren Pult war sonst nix wirklich interessantes dabei. Natürlich ist es ein Falls Count Anywhere Match gewesen und natürlich kamen auch wieder Eingriffe von außerhalb. Natürlich passt es und macht Sinn, aber ich brauche absolut in einem so schönen zusammengestellten Match keine Eingriffe. Insgesamt eine aber Solide bis Gute Dynamite Ausgabe, die auch grade durch das Tag Team Championship Match im Opener extreme nach oben gewertet wird. |

Putting Ogogo over as a beast and too welcome Kris back after she has recovered from injury . Give her the momentum in the women's division that she deserves. MOTN was Young Bucks vs Death Triangle . I love the new attitude of YB as it it suits them. The main event was good but too much run-ins and absence of a solid story or any psychology in general hampered the quality of the match and from becoming one of the best TNT title defenses . Jade/Velvett did better than I or most of the people would have expected . Mike Tyson knocked out Cash and I loved it . Dax/Jericho was a physical and hard hitting bout and a entertaining 13 minutes despite Jericho's age . Christian's first feud looks to be with Team Taz which is way better than stuffing him in the main event with Omega all of a sudden . Lance and Sting look to have formed a unusual and surprising relationship. Miro is after Kip , I hope they keep the feud short. The build to Blood and Guts is decent at best . No insight of the match in this episode. I am excited for Tay/Shida next week. I felt like this episode had too much comedy at times . TK promised a more serious product . I do not have a huge problem with it , I am just pointing it out. Team Taz backstage segment with Taz calling Starks combustible and his reaction to it was priceless and The Elite segment too with Callis super kicking the cameraman was hilarious and too sweet. A 8 for me. The matches could have been better to ensure a higher rating . 2 squashes is too much in my opinion. |
| 25 | 22.05.2021 | Dkex | 9.0 | Mit dem Young Bucks Videosegment und Tyson/MJF ist die Show schon mal sehr angenehm gestartet. Was darauf folgte, war eines der besten AEW Matches überhaupt. Ein großartiges Aufeinandertreffen zwischen den Young Bucks und Death Triangle. Auch wenn das eigentlich nicht mein Stil ist, viel besser kann man so ein Match nicht worken, grandioser Start in die Show. Dark Order Segment danach war okay, das Interview mit Jericho wie immer gut, Tyson unfreiwillig komisch, wie immer. Cargill vs. Red Velvet war dann ein ordentliches Match und ein würdiges Ende der Fehde, mehr konnte man gerade von Cargill noch nicht erwarten, in der Summe war es trotz In-Ring Defizite unterhaltsam. Das Segment mit Britt Baker hat wie zumeist abgeliefert. Squash Match danach war kurz und schmerzlos, hat gepasst und Ogogo stark aussehen lassen, bloß komisch, dass nach nem Punch abgebrochen wird. Darauf folgte eine coole Promo von Miro, so will ich ihn hören und sehen. Jericho vs. Harwood war dann ein gutes und unterhaltsames TV-Match mit dem zu erwartendem Chaos am Ende und einer vernünftigen Weiterführung der Fehde. Das Pormo/Interview Segment mit Omega und Co. war okay, hat zumindest nicht runtergezogen, Thunder Rosa Promo danach war in der Kürze unterhaltsam. Statlander hat ihr In-Ring Comeback, kurz und schmerzlos, hat gepasst. Christian Cage/FTR Segment war unterhaltsam, darf man gerne so machen. Schönes Rededuell mit anschließendem Brawl, Taz ist halt einfach stark am Mikro. Hypevideo danah um den Damentitel hat seinen Zweck erfüllt. Der Main Event war dann überraschend gut, Matt Hardy kann unter bestimmten Bedingungen immer noch abliefern, natürlich hat da Allin und vor allem die gute Chemie zwischen beiden sehr geholfen, dazu war die Matchart perfekt gewählt. Allin ist natürlich der richtige Sieger. Alles in allem war Dynamite eine absolut runde Show, eingerahmt von einem richtig guten Main Event und einem noch besseren Opener. Auch die Mitte war immer unterhaltsam und es gab keine Lowlights, so muss eine Weekly aussehen. Hauchdünne 9 Punkte von mir für eine rundum starke Show. |

Das war auch ein sehr gutes Tag Team Match. Natürlich weiß man bei beiden Teams das sie noch mehr geben können. Trotzdem hatte ich sehr viel Spaß an dem Match. Cargill gegen Velvet war dann nicht so schlimm wie ich befürchtet hatte. Das war eigentlich ganz in Ordnung für Cargill. Konnte man sich gut angucken. Ogogo hatte dann sein Debut und fertigt Karter mit einem Leberhaken ab. Für das Debut fand ich das in Ordnung und so ein Knockout Punch als Finisher ist für Ogogo natürlich ein passender Move. Mal gucken wie talentiert er wirklich ist. Aber war ein guter erster Eindruck. Es folgt das zweite gute Mach der Show. Harwood hat wieder ein tolles Singles Match. Jericho steht dem in nichts nach und läßt sich mit Harwood wirklich zu einem guten Match treiben. Hat mir auch sehr gefallen. Wie schön das Statlander wieder da ist. Hat mich so gefreut das sie wieder in den Ring steigen kann. Man merkte ihr noch ein wenig Ringrost an aber das wird bestimmt schon. Auf jeden Fall ist sie wieder da und das ist toll. Der Main Event brauchte dann etwas Zeit um in Gang zu kommen aber dann war es ein gutes Match. Hardy hat da nochmal alles aus sich rausgeholt. Auch das Chaos zum Schluß hat mir natürlich gefallen und ich fand es gut. Gutes Dynamite. |

Dax Hardwood hier erneut mit einen guten Singles Match gegen Jericho, welches mir gefallen hat. Ich denke aber nicht, dass man Tyson hier noch braucht. Comeback von Stadtlander war auch okay und das Segment mit Christian und Taz fand ich sehr stark. Dieser kurze Schlagabtausch am Mikrofon war richtig gut. Main Event dann das komplette Chaos aber rechtzeitig verschwinden alle nicht am Match beteiligten Wrestler backstage, sodass man in den entscheidenden Phasen den Fokus auf Darby und Hardy setzen kann. Kann man so machen. Insgesamt wieder eine gute Ausgabe und deutlich besser als in der Vorwoche. |

It's great to see Kris Statlander back and putting her with Best Friends just feels right. All in all, no bad matches, some great matches, it was paced well, and one big TV match of the year contender with Bucks v Death Triangle. |

Gut auch, dass die Bucks auch wenn sie jetzt Heels sind ohne Eingriffe gewinnen. Jade Cargill vs Red Velvet ist okay, ich habe leicht Angst, dass man es mit Cargill zu gut meint und sie schon Richtung Titel pusht, dennoch ist sie in Sachen Ausstrahlung und Characterwork einfach super und bisher im Ring auch ordentlich. Der Sieg war hier auch absolut richtig. Anthony Agogo macht wenig, ist in dem was er macht aber gut, auch wenn mich das ganze Stable um QT immer noch überhaupt nicht abholt. Jericho gegen Harwood war solide. Das funktioniert doch ganz gut und auch Mike Tyson ist hier gut eingesetzt worden. Die Konfrontation zwischen Inner Circle und Pinnacle danach war absehbar und das Blood and Guts Match vollkommen passend zu dieser Story. Kris Statlander ist zurück im Ring und liefer ganz ordenlich ab in diesem Squash, dass sie bei den Best Friends dabei ist, finde ich super, noch lieber würde ich mir langsam mal ein All Female Stable wünschen. Christian Cage hält eine Promo und wird derweil von Team Taz unterbrochen um dann das Match mit Will Hobbs aufzubauen. Gute Ansetzung, aber ich würde mir für Team Taz mal ein Programm wünschen, das sie auch gewinnen können. Der Main Event war super. Man hat Allin verdammt stark dargestellt, der ist ja wirklich aus allem ausgekickt und Hardy hat wirklich einiges gezeigt. Ansonsten kann man bei Matt hardy gegen Darby Allin wenig falschmachen, wenn beide Tische, Leitern und ähnliches einsetzen dürfen. Guter Finish Spot, die Ablenkung von Sting und den Hardy guys war etwas unschlüssig, hat aber auch nicht groß geschadet. |

Hopefully we can see him get some longer matches soon. -The Jericho and Dax match was a little slow, Jericho has lost a step for sure but it was still a good match. Tyson was used well and can I just R. I. P to Cash Wheeler. -So happy to see Statlander back, like the new look. -Darby continues to be a show stealer as the TNT champion, he also continues to live the gimmick of being indestructible. It did feel like there was a bit too much going on with all the interference's although there was a cool moment between Sting and Lance Archer. Great spot at the end with Darby giving us our first AEW announce table being destroyed. Also great stuff from AEW to promote a fairly stacked card for next week, with 4/5 good matches to look forward too. |

It is really difficult to be negative about a show that starts with such a great match out of the gate. Fenix is far and away one of the best talents AEW has and can't seem to go more than a few weeks without having a great match, singles or tag. The Bucks finally cemented into heels is also satisfying as I personally can't get behind them as faces. Not only was this episode good, but it's already set up an exciting card for next week which is another key aspect for me as a fan. Not too much to complain about here, any weaknesses the show had were more than made up for by the positives for me. |

Dennoch war das ein wirklich gutes TV Match. Cargill gegen Velvet danach war okay für das was es war. Ogogo bekam als Vertreter von QTs neuem Stable einen Squash in seinem Debüt um stark da zu stehen. Ähnliches wurde auch mit Statlander in ihrem Redebüt gemacht. Dazwischen war dann noch das Match von Jericho gegen Harwood, welches in meinen Augen mehr als anständig war. Das ME brauchte etwas, um mich gewinnen zu können aber dann war ich drin und die Schlussphase gefiel mir genauso wie die Umsetzung der Stipulation. Ich fand das war ein mehr als anständiger Abschluss einer mehr als anständigen Show, welche in meinen Augen 7 Punkte verdient. |

Mike Tyson was utilised a lot more effectively than in previous appearances. Too much of the show was overbooked again however, and while I have no issue with the numerous factions, the outside interference and brawling is overkill, and often comes across as lazy and tired booking. Cut it down to just one or two factions interfering on a less frequent basis as the dirty heels, and those moments would be more impactful. |

I usually feel that match-heavy episodes of Dynamite tend to feel overly long and this maybe did in one or two matches but not so much as an overall episode. We didn't get to see much from Ogogo except that Tyson has a better worked punch (Ogogo seems to throw aside his boxing technique and play for the back row), but I'm onboard with a KO finish, which is something I've wanted to see more of for a while. I did feel like his opponent showed no real signs of being done, though, compared to a regular match where a guy can be motionless or doubled over for long periods of time. They could have had him feebly tap the mat whilst grimacing in pain for a better effect, in my opinion. The main event was like a microcosm of this episode: Kind of entertaining but also messy and filled with stuff we shouldn't be seeing every week. |

The opening tag match was the match of the night - great athleticism, as you would expect, and some incredibly effective heel work from the Bucks - probably not the best match these two teams could have together, and it sagged in the middle, but this was still a strong opener. Hangman and the Dark Order's little backstage segment was brilliant, as they tend to be. Cargill-Velvet was decent - nothing special, truth be told, but it at least felt sufficiently intense for a lower-card feud. Ogogo's squash match didn't really help him out any - he didn't get to do anything impressive, and while I understand wanting to play up his boxing background, a single closed-fist punch causing a ref stoppage is pretty dumb. Jericho-Harwood was a fun match - they wrestled well enough when they put their minds to it, but the real attraction here was all the ringside shenanigans. Statlander's squash match was much better - in a short space of time, she showed off some impressive moves and some nice character work, and it made me look forward to seeing her again (as opposed to Ogogo's, which gave the first impression of 'this guy isn't interesting'). The main event was a total schmoz, often to its detriment - the high spots were excellent, given both competitor's proficiency for stuntwork, but the constant ringside brawling actively detracted from the actual wrestling, especially compared to the more effective and retrained usage of that behaviour in the Jericho match. A show with a fair amount of flaws, but it was always at least somewhat fun to watch, and certainly a very breezy episode of Dynamite. |

Gut, dass es da endlich Abwechslung gibt. Im Ring beginnt man mit einem zu langen und teilweise sehr oberflächlichen Spotfest. Die neue Attitude der Bucks wird hier und da gut präsentiert, aber verliert sich immer wieder in der Spotfest-Willkürlichkeit der Action. Zu viel No-Selling, Moves bedeuten zu wenig und zu viel Choreographie. Mike Tyson gibt backstage noch als unparteiisch, was nach der Vorwoche eher schwierig zu fressen ist. Im Aftermath wird er dann ehrenhalber im IC aufgenommen. Irgendwie auch impactlos. Jade Cargill hat weiterhin gute Ansätze, aber auch eine teils butterweiche Offensive und im Match so ihre Probleme, am Ball zu bleiben. Gilt dann auch für Red Velvet, sodass es für mich nicht irre rund wird. Britt hat eingesehen, dass man sich ja auch über geschenkte Dark-Siege die gewünschte Rankingposition sichern kann. Nun denn. Ogogo zeigt ein paar Basics, ehe dann seine Schlagkünste over gebracht werden. Kann man gut so machen, bin gespannt, wie konsequent das gehalten werden kann. Miro teast nun endlich das Ende seiner Allianz mit Kip. Das ist natürlich im Kontext einer angeblichen Freundschaft, Trauzeugen-Status etc. alles etwas banal, aber für mich zählt bei dem verkorksten Debütrun wirklich nur noch, dass er eine relevante Rolle einnehmen kann. Das blieb bisher einfach aus. Jericho und Harwood liefern einen zur Story passenden Brawl, hätte mir mehr Old School-Wrestling gewünscht, aber das kommt etwas kurz. Auftrag trotzdem passabel erledigt. Man begibt sich mit den Bucks & Co wohl wirklich in eine Einbahnstraße, wenn es normal sein soll, dass Callis jetzt Kameramann tritt. Das hat schon mal nicht gut funktioniert. Thunder Rosa kündigt per Promo-Video an, dass da mehr kommt und dabei hält sie sich auch sowohl NWA als auch AEW-Titel offen. Passt zum Standing. Weiterhin cool, dass Statlander zurück ist. Solider Squash. Das Backstage-Interview von Team Taz zieht nicht sonderlich. Dass man dann mit Cage genau das gleiche Schema wiederholt, welches man über Monate mit Sting gemacht hat, fühlt sich wirklich nach Extreme Warfare Bausatz an. Ziemlich lahm. Christian reiht sich in die lange Liste der Face-Wrestler im Pro Wrestling ein, die Backstage keine Freunde haben, aber geschenkt. Schön, dass sie Ricky Starks in der Grafik so pushen. Dat ist halt ein reiner YouTube-Wert gegen die grünen Wrestler Amerikas. 10-0 hat er seit Oktober 2020 bei Dark gemacht und dabei wirklich niemanden von Kaliber. Find ich ehrlich gesagt irre albern und hat so wenig Sportscharakter. Tay Conti hat ein Titelmatch und bekommt dafür ein paar Sätze Redezeit. Schade, dass sie nicht mehr Charakter zeigen darf. Main Event bietet ein bisschen Chaos und ein zu episodenartiges Match, bei dem viel Moves einfach nur da sind, auch wenn sie durchaus Impact haben. Finish ist ganz cool und die Show besser als in den beiden Vorwochen. |

| 85 | 15.04.2021 | Colt Iken | 10.0 | I was nowhere near as down as some people were on last week's show (take away the polarizing ending and I think people are far more satisfied) but this was definitely a step up, back to the level of quality from the week before. The opener, from the Young Bucks explanation to their match with Fenix and PAC was incredible television. They took a ton of time to tell an old school tag story with a modern twist, Fenix and PAC jumped off the screen and the Bucks in their new roles were perfect. The only thing better was the ending where they pulled the old lucha style unmasking on Fenix for the cheap win. Hangman avoiding the Elite question backstage was a nice touch, followed by some John Silver comedy to keep things from getting too serious. Jade vs. Red Velvet was significantly better than I expected; Velvet in particular looked tremendous in carrying the match. I would've liked to see a little more from Ogogo but he was at least put over strong. Jericho vs. Dax was awesome. Great old school style match with Dax looking mightily impressive again, Jericho stepping up and great involvement from Mike Tyson. I loved everything about Kris Statlander's return, from the entrance (the Pixies song works even better than her than Orange Cassidy) to the ring. She was already extremely talented but like Britt Baker she seems to have improved while recovering. The Christian-Taz angle ruled and Powerhouse Hobbs looked great pulverizing Christian. The main event was a bit convoluted with all the run ins (I could've done with just Sting, Archer and the Scorp/Page team) but it did continue angles and the work between Darby and Hardy itself was very strong. Matt gave everything to this match and Darby killed himself again. What more can you ask for? Exactly the show they should've had after last week's reception, not to mention their first show unopposed. |

Mainer war auch gelungen, trotz des Chaos. Jade Cargill bringt Potenzial mit und Velvet wird auch immer besser. Viel passiert, runde gute Show. |

I liked the Mike Tyson stuff they did, the Christian/Team Taz segment was good and the rest of the promos and segments were alright. Oh, and I feel like they should keep Statlander's and Best Friends old theme songs and just use Where Is My Mind for Orange because I think it fits him better than them. |

Segments: one of the best selections ever - starting with The Bucks explaining their actions; Hangman avoiding the Kenny question; Britt's part was short but great, as was Miro's; I was genuinely loving The ELITE's promo, including all the GB BS; Thunder Rosa's and Tay's were good; the best segment was Christian vs Team Taz, I marked out hard for Hobbs. |
