"Writing to comment on the Asuka v. Sasha Banks match, and request that it becomes a recommended match. The storyline here was great. The day after ironmanning the Royal Rumble, Sasha took on the undefeated Asuka, and put on a pay-per-view caliber 15 minute match. I love that this is the first time a storyline like this was possible in the WWE, and that the WWE actually took full advantage of it. Both wrestlers came out of this looking stellar. Sasha took one of the most ridiculous bumps I've ever seen when she got kicked in the middle of her suicide dive. I literally don't know how she did that.... it looked dangerous and scary as hell, but she was back up shortly after. Fantastic selling. Asuka's spill to the outside when Sasha dodged her hip attack looked equally dangerous, and the double knees that followed were a good choice of move and a very cool spot. Those were the highlights, but there really wasn't a dull moment in the whole match. The fact that Sasha was on the offense for large portions of this match and that she locked in her finisher three times, but Asuka still pulled out the victory, really cemented Asuka's undefeatable character while still giving you genuine hope that it would be broken. Overall, I couldn't have asked for more from this. The action was perfect. It would be rated higher if it had more buildup in the storyline and the stakes were higher, but then that's not the story they were telling. Asuka v. Sasha Banks: 81/100. Rest of Show: unrated"
[5.0] "WWE following-up Royal Rumble with a PPV line-up for RAW! Of course executed in their sloppy TV style wrestling. But still it was nice of them to at least try to give us something special as we close in on WrestleMania. Braun Strowman -vs- Kane [* 1/2] Okay, it wasn't so much the match that was awesome, than Strowman burying Kane under the announcer's table! Elias -vs- Matt Hardy [* 1/4] Elias is great, but they need to delete Woken. The Miz -vs- Roman Reigns - (WWE Intercontinental Title) [** 1/4] The Miz, the new Face of the Company! Beating Roman Raigns two weeks in a row! Only a tiny bit of help needed. Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson -vs- Heath Slater & Rhyno [*] The Revival trying to get themselves revived. Asuka -vs- Sasha Banks [** 1/2] Some nasty bumping going on here. Some of it as a result of botching, but also because being crazy going all in! Cesaro & Sheamus (c) -vs- Titus O'Neil & Apollo Crews - (WWE RAW Tag Title) [* 1/4] Somewhat ugly in between the cool spots by Crews. Never gained steam, but The Bar retains, so that's good. John Cena -vs- Finn Balor [* 1/2] Cena was being real out of his mind for this one. As in out of focus. It was real distracting. Thankfully Balor was there to salvage some of this, but in was Cena domination and that? s not a good thing. Especially not when he wins too."
[8.0] "Well, that was a good show with some great matches:John Cena VS Finn Balor was enjoyable to watch 3, 5/5 and spectacular Asuka vs Sasha Banks 3, 75/5. There was only one problem:It has had a few segments. Whatever, Recommended to watch"
[9.0] "This show felt like a C-Tier PPV. Two title matches, a (short) last man standing match, and two big first time singles matches (Sasha/Asuka and Finn/Cena). New graphics looked fantastic, hopefully Smackdown got an update as well, and Strowman destruction was as fun as ever. Not having Ronda on RAW in some capacity besides recap footage the night after she debuts is a questionable choice, and the only thing that keeps me from giving this a 10. Just a fantastic episode of RAW, one of the best in ages and hopefully they atleast keep this level of quality up through the Road to Wrestlemania."
