[7.0] "The last few years, National Pro Wrestling day has become really just another CHIKARA event (as opposed to the multi-promotional effort it started as), but for what it was this was a pretty solid affair. Another strong title defense for Juan against Oleg and the Ophidian vs Frightmare submission match were the best of the lot (the latter also providing good catharsis for their lengthy feud), with other highlights including the Closers squashing the Ice Creams for the Campeonatos de Parejas, an effective Tag Tourney qualifier with Janelope making a successful CHIKARA debut against the 'Hawx, a decent if too-brief mat-based match between R. Gulak and Huckabee, and an interesting gimmick debut as BLANK starts to reveal his masterpieces (as an art nerd, I really dig this gimmick so far)."

[9.0] "Very much enjoyed this event! Opening match was a good bit of fun, and Travis/Rory was fairly enjoyable despite Rory not being a big favorite of mine. Squash match followed by a weird but interesting match between the Boar and BLANK's "artistic creation". Show rockets to the next level with an awesome Hawx/Janelope match, followed by the best match of the night in Frightmare/Ophidian. The following Atomics match was pretty great as well, and the Whisper/Deppen match was alright. New tag champs is good in my book, the switch coming in a highly entertaining squash match, and the main event was fantastic quality, some great action and storytelling points. Also, Frightmare mauling Oleg at the end of the show, plus Fire Ant attacking Ophidian for unknown reasons! I was into this!"
