[Sabre enters the post-match press conference after losing his first match of the 2019 G1 Climax tournament to SANADA.]

Zack Sabre Jr.: "What utter bollocks! What drivelly nonsense! [To NJPW Staff] Would someone pick up my water please? Yeah? Could someone pick my water up? Thank you very much, thank you. Yeah, if you could take 20 more minutes that would be lovely. [Sarcastically] Oh thank you so much, thank you.

In a company full of moronic referees, Marty Asami is the densest one. Fact, he's so stupid, he's so dense light bends around him.

What an ugly shambles. SANADA is a very talented wrestler. There's no way with any bloody logical maths that he could have beaten me. So some foul play's in there. Yeah? In America of all countries. What a catastrophe this country is right now. Great Britain joining you. aren't we? My word. Of course I can't concentrate. My country's gonna make Boris Johnson the next Prime Minister! [see Note 1] Utter nonsense.

It's off-putting enough being in this country. As much as SANADA couldn't tap me out -- and he couldn't tap me out, could he? He had to pin me wiith a dodgy count. But I tapped out SANADA! Last year in the New Japan Cup! He's only ever pinned me, yeah. Because no one can touch me, not in New Japan, but in professional wrestling for tekkers! 'Tekkers' means technical skill for you morons. Yeah, I have to translate for you guys as well.

Ugh, that said... It's much more enjoyable being challenged by challenging wrestlers like SANADA than some of the other cretins I have to wrestle, huh? What a waste that match was. In AMERICA. Giving them a match of that technical quality to an American crowd would be like reading Shakespeare to a dog: Utterly pointless! Endearing to think about, but utterly pointless nonetheless.

Why are we opening it here? I thought the Japanese crowds were idiots, but in comparison they look like they're MUNSA [see Note 2] members...

You know what, I don't care, losing to SANADA. We all make mistakes. Volk Han lost a few times... [see Note 3] Brian Eno worked with Coldplay, so... [see Note 4] Lord knows you're all capable of failures, aren't we? I don't really care. My next match is Okada. I came this close to tapping him out at Ryōgoku [see Note 5] in front of ten thousand people.

This time I'm gonna do it.

And I'll secure my IWGP Heavyweight Championship. I think it's gonna look very dashing next to my British Heavyweight Championship!

I'm the best technical wrestler in the world.

That was an off day. I'm still untouchable compared to the rest of my contemporaries in this business.

I'm just getting started. As you were."

- Note 1: Boris Johnson was elected to be the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in May of 2019. He resigned in July 2022 after a series of scandals.

- Note 2: It's likely Sabre intended to say MENSA, which is a society that limits it's membership to those with high IQs.

- Note 3: Volk Han is a former martial artist. Not only was he a pioneer in mixed martial arts but he had a successful pro wrestling career working for RINGS.

- Note 4: Brian Eno is a critically acclaimed British musician and producer. He worked with the popular and successful (but far less critically beloved) band Coldplay on their album 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends'.

- Note 5: This is in reference to the Ryogoku Kokugikan, also known as Sumo Hall, one of the most famous venues in Japan for wrestling.
