[9.0] "when I was first REALLY started getting into the nitty gritty, this shit was my absolute favourite to watch. Their chemistry is so satisfying to watch, the sheer pace and stiffness is wild with both guys matching each other's freak in the best way, unhinged athleticism, brutal strikes and a sense of pace that each time one of their singles matches reaches the later stages, I just want to rip my shirt off and let out a primal scream. Some may see this as a very meat-headed and cave-man brain view of wrestling, I could imagine both men's critics seeing that as a negative which is someone else's prerogative but not only do I find the sheer adrenaline and primal enjoyment of bomb-fests of this calibre immensely compelling and exciting, I actually really enjoy the in-ring dynamic for It's story reason. This Is my interpretation of the Will and Shingo dynamic and why I find it complimentary to the fireworks, the core of it is that, no matter if Ospreay is the face or heel in the match, most times, Shingo is the more physically imposing and stronger one with Will always having to have push even harder past his limits or have some sort of extra factor to his victory. By looking at their singles match record of 4/2 in favour of Will, The BOSJ final, The NJC final, The IGPW championship match and the exhibition before All In at Rev Pro. With Shingo's two wins over Ospreay coming in the G1 block matches they had. When both men are left on neutral ground, with a simple 1on1 dynamic, Shingo's speed and ferocity wins, at the base, Shingo is the stronger opponent. So Ospreay on all his wins, needs to push past his physical limitations to do so, using very ounce of his Will to win the BOSJ, willing to play a little dirty with some additional aid in the NJC match to win and secure his title shot, the to retain his title, fuelled by his insecurity of Okada's shadow over him and once again pulling from every bit of fire he has to slay the dragon once again. I understand that to some, the Dontaku match casting Ospreay as the one in peril / to overcome when he's the heel is backwards but I think it's totally complimentary to the dynamic and Ospreay being a vulnerable heel who does need to still try and is desperate to prove himself as the best and better than his older brother figure, I think it work's perfectly. Plus I like It when the villain is less physically imposing than the good guy and either has to be even more ruthless, be a sneaky bastard or push past his limits to do so. I like characters such as Starscream for example. And the RevPro match has the hometown advantage with Ospreay on the cusp of one of the biggest matches of his career up to that point, Truthfully It's the weakest match of the series but It's still really good, It's basically just a greatest hits act. And I think both men are fantastic in their roles with Shingo as the literal dragon, the awesome, ass kicking, force that is such a entertaining and also sometimes intimidating spectacle to behold and Osprey as the assassin who has to use all his energy, force and sheer fucking spirit to make it on the other end, either as the overcoming hero or the jealous kingpin, desperate to show he is on the level of the greats, a level, that he may just be a little unprepared for. I understand that this 'anime-ish' approach to wrestling is not everyone's cup of tea but I pride myself for my wide, diverse and accepting wrestling pallet. when It comes to balls to the walls, load and dramatic displays of athleticism, brutality and genuine, no cynicism, fighting spirit and pure fucking fire and willpower to overcome pain and obstacle, as told by a physical performance; These two are the perfect marriage / pair for that ( Ilja and Gunther too). My favourite match of the rivalry and potentially ever is the WD 2021 match, I may do a review of that eventually but I totally understand why others don't love it but from the moment I watched it first to every time I've rewatched it I just love it, the strikes, pace, performances, the Title match prestige and aura, It's basically a perfect encapsulation of my tippy top preferences for a wrestling match, It's not perfect and I've certainly been more profoundly moved by matches and stories otherwise but this series is an action movie series, not really a prestige drama. This series is about vibes, primal emotions of going "Oh shit" being immersed in the simple, animalistically -fiery struggle and willpower, watching the next fucking awesome moment of action. To me, that is in no way a mark against it, as a well made and executed action movie are some of the most fun and joyous. Likewise this is some of the most fun and genuine joy I've had watching wrestling."

[10.0] "Indeed. It is my favourite wrestli6.45ng rivalry of all time. Hiroshi Tanahashi is my favourite wrestler (as of now) and the literal decades long story told by him and Okada is genuinely extremely special and is special because It's wrestling. This rivalry is one of the finest examples of all the elements that makes pro wrestling a fantastic story telling medium at It's best. It's simultaneously sports, theatre and comic books all in one. A story about two athletes, one we watch go from the top of his game, the ace, to desperation and fire in the face of being slowly but surely overcome, to being physically broken and in his twilight. While the other guy we see go from some random kid back from excursion, to crafting his legacy before your very eyes so by the end, he is now to a point he can rest on his laurels after all he's achieved in the face of Tanahashi in his final match. The comic book building of years and characters and developments, a superhero, for lack of a better word, starting at his peak, faltering his morals in the middle, to going out defiantly on his shield to end. Happening on grand stages, with magnificent performances told by these performers that clearly illustrate every step of their character's journeys all without a fucking single word needed. And the secret sauce wrestling has, that It is a continuous, long running story, that has no choice to obey the very real laws of time, what we see is in real time, every year that ticks, we see Tana get a little bit older, and Okada more legendary, all before your eyes. There is no time jump, the WK 20 match isn't the 10 year later reunion movie where the characters had just been operating off screen since WK 10, we saw It all, and it makes everything feel so real and earned. The sympathy for Tanahashi and the anger towards Okada built off how both men's kayfabe and career biography's had progressed before us. From start to finish, It's a masterpiece of the wrestling art form and as someone who very much sees and appreciates wrestling as one, this is holy ground, a gold standard of what this medium can do when everything is just fucking right. Top 3 Matches: 3) Wrestle Kingdom 10 2) King of Pro-Wrestling 2013 1) Wrestle Kingdom 20 - My Favourite wrestler getting such a perfect, beautiful, definitive retirement match / ending to his character's story is the cheery on top and warm my heart so fucking much. Daps up for who's also favourite wrestlers got amazing retirement matches and a sincere salute to those with the opposite."

[7.0] "Controversial take, but i don't think this rivalry would be as memorable had Eddie Guerrero not passed. Because if you'll recall, they had already worked before, and it was viewed as just another match on the show..Once Eddie passed, it really picked up.steam because of the tie in that Eddie had with both guys. Eddie was brought up when John faced Rey for the world title in 2006 and ultimately have rey be the one retire him at that time out of respect to Eddie after his back issues started flaring up. Then he asked Rey permission to come out of retirement in 2008 and then wanted Rey to be the one to retire him again in 2009 at WrestleMania in Texas when he knew he was fully done out of respect to Eddie."

Their chemistry could be felt in countless hard-hitting promos, which was granted considering Punk has a best way for words and Drew was a beast to be unleashed on the mic. In 2024, they produced 3 matches that can still be remembered to this day, with the trilogy being on of the greatest matches in WWE history. This feud helped both of them, especially Drew whom people see under a different light now."

[10.0] "these dudes managed to tell a story that mostly involved how they worked in the ring, and it's unironically a very engaging story too, most of the matches they had were pretty solid, , and the whole feud's over the top nature just works for me in such an odd way"

[8.0] "It's one of the better Super Jr. rivalries of the last generation. Before Ricochet started working in the WWE the two men's careers were inseparable. Other than the two BOTSJ bouts and the triple threat with Takeshita, the matches are too similar for me, which is why an 8/10 is the highest I'm going to go here. That being said, all of their matches are a fun time when you're in the mood for them. I'd say that my favorite matches in this feud are the ones I've previously named and their C2 match in the Hammerstein Ballroom (great vibe). As someone who is a much bigger fan of Ospreay's work in his NJPW days and post, this is his best rivalry from this era. Probably a top two Ricochet feud ever."

[7.0] "Not my favorite matchup, to be honest. I feel like they sometimes go a bit too far (the matches aren't bad by any means). They've definitely had a big impact on wrestling, but I really don't think this is one of the best matchups. They brought a style of wrestling that can sometimes feel pretty illogical and over-the-top."

[10.0] "I'm giving this a 10 because this is one of my favorite wrestling rivalries ever when it comes to chemistry. My favorite match is the one where Hangman beats Bryan in 2022, right after the Time Limit Draw (which is, in my opinion, their best match). I also really loved their match in the 2024 Owen Hart Cup final. Honestly, four singles matches and pretty much all of them were clas"

[9.0] "Absolutely incredible. Two of the best tag teams of their generations. (If you had told me the best match of their feud would end up being the one at Revolution 2026, I never would've believed you.) It's genuinely a joy to watch them share the ring every single time. I still remember the hype around their Full Gear 2020 match. Absolutely incredible."

[9.0] "One of the best women's feuds of the decade in the US. I'm really close to giving it a 10, I'd say I'm at like a 4.75/5. The matches, the storytelling, everything about it was fantastic. Both women are so damn good, and Willow is one of the wrestlers who gave Mercedes the most trouble. Not a single bad match between them."

[8.0] "Two AEW OGs who haven't really crossed paths that much. I remember the Diamond Ring match in 2019, Revolution 2025/26, and Forbidden Door 2025, but they had great chemistry and the storylines were pretty fun. Not the best feud between two big names in AEW, but all the matches were good overall (except for that absolutely awful finish at Forbidden Door 2025)."

[9.0] "One of my favorite AEW feuds from the early days of the company. Two incredible wrestlers with insane chemistry. Whether it was singles matches, gimmick matches, or even tag matches, these two were just so damn good together. Looking at the ratings, this has to be one of the most underrated rivalries in AEW history."

[8.0] "Pretty good rivalry with almost nothing but great matches. Maybe 1 or 2 matches too many, though. I remember not being too hyped for Full Gear and Grand Slam because I wanted to see Fletcher face some different names (even though he gets the title back at Grand Slam). I feel like they dragged the feud out a bit too much, but the matches were still really good every time."
1723.09.2026

[9.0] "It's not my favorite feud, but this is a deep feud, dragged from the opening bell of AEW. In AEW's first pay-per-view, MJF is in the first group for the inaugural Casino Battle Royale, Adam Page is the Joker entrant. Adam Page ends the match by last eliminating MJF. Adam Page misses his shot that he won there, MJF takes a few of his own, they try for the Dynamite Diamond Ring. Lengthy break from 2021-2024, now they're both former world champions, but neither was the inaugural champion. The last year and a half has been rich in that, and they continue to be the top of the roster and I'm sure will clash again."

[8.0] "One of the most physically dominant feuds of the entire ruthless aggression era was Big Show vs Brock Lesnar. You had The Big Show who was a legitimate giant, a monster in every sense of the word, with a new spark lit underneath him upon his return to smack down after taking out the undertaker(who was taking time off for the birth of his twins) on one side of the ring and Brock Lesnar who was a genetic freak athlete who possessed superhuman strength and power on the other side battling it out for the undisputed championship. And for as much of a spectacle that it was each and everyti.e that they shared a ring with each other, i also felt it produced many memorable moments as well from show getting F5'd in the garden to Brock driving show out of the arena on a forklift to them breaking the ring on smack down in their blow off match on smack down. I actually consider thus to be one if the better feuds if shows career mainly due to how properly that he was presented/used and I think it did a lot for Brock as well."

[10.0] "Even if the rivalry felt "too long" for some people, this is still one of the most iconic rivalries of all time. All of their history stretching from the Shield betrayal, to the MITB 2016 match, to the Royal Rumble match in 2022, to the sacrifice Seth made for Cody to beat Roman, to their rivalry in 2025, to the final match they had together at Summerslam 2026. It was all perfect and it was a blessing to be able to witness it all as it was happening."

[10.0] "This is very obviously one of the greatest rivalries of all time. Every match they had together was incredible and the build was just as good, especially when they added The Rock into the mix and added him into the Bloodline. Their match at Wrestlemania 40 was nothing short of perfect and if they were to ever do a trilogy, I only hope it's another piece of their rivalry you can say is great."

[7.0] "It's Will Ospreay and Zack Sabre Jr. Two of best wrestlers from the British scene. They have some really great chemistry together but rivalry? Eh not really I do hope their renewed this rivalry in AEW since Will is now AEW World Champion."

[10.0] "I think a lot about how this unfolded. All this was perfection. At firt I HATED this rivalry, because I didn't watch weekly shows and only résumés. But I rewatched yesterday the whole riv4.31alry (that AEW uploaded on their channel) and omfg this couldn't have been better. Every segment, every promo, every word said by these men felt real. Every matches felt like murder attempts. Their All Out match might be in my all time top 10, this was pure hatred. I hope this rivalry continues sporadically, it's just so so good !"

[4.0] "This was so cool when I was 12, and there are moments I remember fondly, but it's a lot of plodding nothing taking up way too much time in the main event scene and resulting in mediocre matches. It's crazy how much time they spent together while never developing any chemistry as opponents. Love Shawn on his own and Trips was growing into a quality storyteller but they simply could never make it work together."
2502.09.2026
01:47
[6.0] "Probably one of the most overrated feuds in wrestling history. It was more based around The Rock acting as Vince's in-ring representative. There were good promos from each, but there was never a real sense of a personal grudge. The matches are fun but about as formulaic as you could get at the time. It's the two have biggest stars fighting so I guess that makes it a classic by default?"
2631.08.2026
16:36
[10.0] "The greatest rivalry in professional wrestling. Only Kobashi Vs Mishawa comes close. The way it has been built has almost been perfect and done delicately. Long Term storytelling at its best. Main event of Tokyo Dome 4 times, multiple MOTY awards and also Tanahashi retired in Okada's hand in perhaps the best final match anyone ever had. From booking to match quality, the best rivalry in professional wrestling history in my opinion."
2731.08.2026

[10.0] "Their first ever meeting was in PWG, but most don't really care about that. It was in 2022, that this feud really started to kick off, though the build up for a Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay dream match has been talked about by fans and pundits since long before that. No other two wrestlers has been compared to each other; with as much hype as Ospreay has been compared to Omega. As Ospreay slowly shifted from the Jr. to the Heavyweight division, the comparisons only grew more and when Kenny left Japan, it slowly died down but in 2022, the winds shifted in favor of all of Ospreay and Omega fans when Ospreay made his AEW debut as part of the New Japan roster for Forbidden Door 2022. The rumors got circulated, Ospreay and Omega traded shots in social media and in late 2022, we got our confirmation for the dream match the wrestling world has been waiting for, to take place at Wrestle Kingdom 17, 2023. The match surpassed all expectations and predictions and is among my all time favorite matches, and the rematch that followed at Forbidden Door 2023 is also among the greatest matches I have seen. With Ospreay making his North America jump in 2024, we finally got a World Title main event match at All In London 2026, with Kenny passing the torch in a violent, outstanding main event in front of 40000+. Among the greatest feud of all time."

[10.0] "easily the most significant current women's wrestling rivalry outside of japan. so much history--their first match against each other was the final of the tournament to crown the inaugural NJPW STRONG Women's Title. mercedes was supposed to win but an injury meant willow won the belt instead. they've traded the TBS title back and forth, went head to head for the tag titles a couple of times, and this build to All In has been tremendous. they will both be top names in the AEW women's division for years to come. they are not done having fantastic, meaningful matches against each other. fun fact: each of their four singles matches thus far has involved a title change. are we in store for a fifth this sunday?"

[10.0] "In my opinion, this is the greatest feud in AEW history and probably a top five feud in all of wrestling history. This is such a violent feud and the matches are always absolute bangers. [6.0] "Anyone who loves this rivalry, fair enough, especially if you enjoy a lot of theatrics and character work in your wrestling, and I appreciate what they tried to do. There're definitely ideas in there that I like in there and I can appreciate the story they tried to tell, and I think their last match was easily the best and showed these two CAN get those ideas into some genuinely good wrestling. But it just wasn't for me overall. Too much of the rivalry was waaaay too over-the-top in a way that took me out of a lot of their matches. I know people consider the third one their best, but that was absolutely fucking dreadful for me, and I just find the whole thing far more eye-rolling than compelling. Fair play if you're a fan, thoug9.54h."

[10.0] "This feud perfectly encapsulates the glory years of Ring of Honor--a feud not crafted through angles and promos but based on wrestling and the crowd. Everything is told through their matches, the story of Nigel's heroic face turn in London is told during the match. The story of Danielson slowly becoming more violent and unsympathetic as his reign as champion goes on is told in the ring. And the story of Nigel reverting back to the selfish man he always has been, all of it, told through wrestling, not words. Wrestling and head trauma, a lot of head trauma."

Built over years with layered character development, heartbreak, friendship, and redemption, it made every major moment feel earned. Their emotional performances elevated every match, culminating in a payoff that was as satisfying as it was unforgettable. It's a masterclass in long-form storytelling that showed how compelling professional wrestling can be at its best."

I did enjoy their Last Man Standing match, though their WrestleMania 34 and 38 matches were abysmal. I have no idea how any booker in their right mind could look at the reaction their matches were getting and consistently say "yeah let's run it back""

They have two very different styles of wrestling, but they complement each other very well in the ring. However while they have good matches together, I wouldn't really consider them rivals. They don't really have a large amount of animosity toward each other, they just wrestle occasionally."

The Dynamite Kid was... well, I feel the less said about Tom Billington's ultimate legacy, the better. The series of matches they had in the early '80s was unlike anything pro-wrestling had seen up to that point in time. It codified the now ubiquitous Junior Heavyweight style of working. That said, the individual matches tend to underwhelm when I watch them. I guess it's hard for someone who became a fan post-'90s Junior Heavyweight boom to say they hold up outside of the historical context."

The second is still pretty good but ehh whatever. The all in match was fine. They kept overdoing this feud like who is the best tag team in AEW. That is just lazy booking at best in my opinion."

[10.0] "When Syuri and Mayu first crossed paths in 2016, it was a total anomaly - up until that point they wrestled in two completely different corners of Joshi Puro landscape and as pro-wrestlers they couldn't be more different, so them going at it then felt like a unique time-and-place situation that wouldn't happen again. Sareee had a big breakthrough year in 2019, but she was on her way to WWE in 2020 so someone had to replace her, luckily Syuri returned to Japan after her short UFC run, and decided to focus solely on pro-wrestling in August 2019. Iwatani/Iroha vs. Sareee/Syuri match in December 2019 (which is still isn't available in full online) was another wild time-and-place occasion - not only it served as a precursor for SareeeISM shows, it also led to a very surprising appearance by Syuri on February STARDOM Korakuen as one of Giulia's new stablemates in Donna del Mondo. It was obvious immediately that Syuri won't be following Giulia for long and she would be going for the World Title that Mayu Iwatani was holding at the time. Iwatani just wrapped up her long rivalry against Kagetsu and she needed a new rival, so Syuri signing with STARDOM happened at the perfect time. COVID hurt STARDOM's momentum really badly in 2020, but Mayu and Syuri eventually had their first big title match in October 2020 that solidified Syuri's spot on the card and left no doubts that she's gonna win Red Belt one day, which she did in December 2021 after winning 5 Star Grand Prix that year. In Match 2022 Syuri defended her title against both Giulia and Iwatani on back-to-back Ryogoku Sumo Hall shows in spectacular matches - Iwatani in particular was sort of a 'final boss' for Syuri to overcome, so when Syuri got her revenge it solidified her as the strongest wrestler in STARDOM. When IWGP Women's title became a thing, it became natural to expect Iwatani and Syuri to eventually wrestle for that title because they were two best wrestlers in the promotion. Syuri beat Iwatani in 5 Star Grand Prix 2023, when Iwatani was IWGP Women's Champion, which led to a title match between them on January 4th, 2024 which imo would belong on the Tokyo Dome show that day. Their final singles match was also final Mayu Iwatani's STARDOM match to date, it only made sense that it happened against her biggest rival in the Bushiroad era of STARDOM. Mayu teamed up with SLK and Koguma in 2021 to challenge Syuri/Giulia for their Goddesses of STARDOM Tag Team titles, those two defenses made champions' reign memorable in it's own way, plus it helped build SLK breaking away from Mayu later that year and make it more impactful. Mayu and Syuri crossed paths in 4 different Tag Leagues (2020, 2021, 2022, 2024) and every match was different - it's an easy way to see how both wrestlers' careers changed throughout the years. They also wrestled for Artist titles twice, in 2020 and 2024 - in 2020 when Syuri was in DDM with Giulia and Maika, and Mayu was leading STARS and had SLK and Nakano by her side, while in 2024 Syuri led God's Eye and held titles with MIRAI and Sourei, Mayu had Hazuki and Hanan as her partners. Them teaming up in 2023 against Hayashishita and Maika was another memorable match that showed their unique charm together. Overall, I think it's fair to say that Iwatani vs. Syuri rivalry is one of the biggest and best in STARDOM's history because their matches for top titles were always consequential and important, it helped both wrestlers become a bigger deal and write an important chapter in their careers."

[8.0] "An interesting rivalry that I would put as the second best rivalry for both teams. Bucks have Lucha Bros and FTR have the Briscoes, but that in no way diminishes what these two have accomplished. The matches range from good to fantastic, with my personal favorite being the ladder match in 2024, that mostly seems slept on but low key reinvigorated my love for ladder matches. There is quite a lot of character work peppered throughout the years of their working together, some of which flew quite close to the sun during times like the build up to All In."

[9.0] "Wrestling soul mates, really. Reading interviews from these men really shows just how much trust and affection they have in each other, and that was always on full display during the absolute batshit spots that peppered their matches. I think in terms of rivalries the match quality was always top tier. And if you take into account the best of Seven series then the variety value shoots up tremendously. All seven of those matches felt different but still amazing. The biggest ding against this rivalry would be the possible lack of story depth, which largely exists on "the Bucks are assholes" or who is the better brother tag team."
