[5.0] "One of Chile's biggest failed experiments, along with SWA and Wrestling Superstar, and with very good reason. When the promotion was founded, they aimed to appeal to a mainstream non-wrestling audience, even bringing chilean actor Ariel Levy to generate some interest, and making shows at big arenas like Teatro La Cúpula. While CNL created some buzz at first at the media, over the years the promotion began to lose fans on a monthly basis. After they switched to much smaller arenas, started doing shows less frequently, and then changed their format from a live-attendance show to a YouTube-only show, it became clear that the whole project was not profitable. On May 2023, it was announced that the promotion was closing down. One of the main problems with CNL was that, while they had some of the best technical wrestlers in Chile, the guys lacked the charisma and communication skills to appeal to a mainstream audience. Further proof of this statement is that Ariel Levy, who was originally supposed to have a one-appearence match, ended becoming the promotion's biggest star. When Levy left CNL and followed a full-time wrestling career in USA, the mainstream media followed the guy, but lost all interest in CNL itself."
