[7.0] "It probably wasn't as good as its successor promotion (IWC), but SCW was once Pittsburgh's pre-eminent indy promotion. Unlike ECW in Philly at the time, SCW tried to do family friendly shows. However, Pittsburgh and Philly wrestling fans are actually quite similar (even though they may not agree on anything else). Pittsburgh was a hardcore crowd at this time and SCW show attendance really suffered for it to the point where they had to close."
