AIW Intense Championship

[7.0] "AIW's secondary title with a more hardcore/no holds barred aspect, which has changed hands in two US states and been defended outside of the USA on a couple of occasions. Though held by a prominent champion at present the NWA and Impact Digital Media Worlds Champions Matt Cardona, the quasi unification with the Absolute title does diminish its individual performance at the moment (though the 2 belt champ always looks cool as hell). Former national or global stars to hold the title include Tyler Black (Seth Rollins), Johnny Gargano, Joey Janela, Chris Dickinson, BJ Whitmer, Shiima Xion (NXT's Joaquin Wilde). Top AIW stars like Josh Prohibition, Joshua Bishop, Tim Donst, Matthew Justice on the others have gone through the Intense division on their way to the Absolute title as well. I'm a big fan of Facade too and his run here may have been the peak of his powers (not that he doesn't still rule). Notable stars to challenge unsuccessful for this title include Chris Hero, Sal Rinauro, Ricochet, Matt Cross, Samuray del Sol (WWE's Kalisto), Eddie Kingston, Ricky Shane Page, Sonjay Dutt, DJ Z (NXT's Joaquin Wilde), Wheeler Yuta (current ROH Pure Champ and AEW rookie sensation in BCC), Mance Warner, Erick Stevens, Colin Delaney, Philly Collins (current AIW tag team champion), Chuck Taylor, Gary Jay, Colin Delaney, Flamita, Britt Baker, Michael Elgin (boo), Cedric Alexander and even WCW cult favourite Glacier. I wonder if the title will ever be separated from the Absolute title again but there's no denying it's had a jam packed sixteen year existence."
