[10.0] "The core essence that separated Los Ingobernables de Japon from New Japan's other stables was a sense of curation, Naito hand-picking a crew that most embodied his vision of the ungovernable. The core five of Naito, BUSHI, EVIL, SANADA, and Hiromu were such a well-oiled unit, and the individual additions of Takagi, Titan and Tsuji over the years were all made with purpose and care. They were a band of brothers, both in their tag team offense and in their interactions in and out of the ring, and it all made the inevitable heartbreak - EVIL and SANADA's defections, Naito's battles against his own aging body - mean all the more. Heck, after Naito and Bushi left the company, the remaining LIJ members were so tied together that they essentially meandered through the midcard wilderness as an 'unaffiliated' team that still watched out for each other. No group quite like them, not before, not since."

It ultimately being the springboard not only for Naito but also practically everyone else in the faction for their careers to go to that next level was something to behold. It never felt like the faction truly had a down period as they kept adding members and Naito was a great leader through and through. Its was sad to see it end but likely for the best as many of the members get older and better to end on a good point than drag it out."

Even with the last few years of the faction having members leave and eventually the complete disbandment, it was an incredible run. Like Naito, the group shined insanely bright and limped its way on top to the finish line. If they were still going now, they'd probably be a 9 for me. But it ended at the right time, before they could truly lose everything that made them so great."

[10.0] "There was a time that Naito was a rejected babyface, the fans didn't liked him, no matter how hard he tried, but after an excursion to Mexico, he came back as a heel, a rebel guy that didn't gave a damn about the fans opinion, with an arrogant and lazy attitude, a tranquilo attitude. And that's the foundation of Los Ingobernables de Japon, just like the name says, they are not stuck in any rules or system, they do what they want. With time Naito completely changed the fans opinion, and LIJ became one of the most, if not the most popular stable in Japan, just like Naito."

[8.0] "LIJ is probably the best stable in NJPW and the main reason for that is because, they don't have like 10 people in a group which helps each member shine in their own way they aren't like BC where you have had like 30 members in total and half of them were forgettable, or like CHAOS where they are all such together and come and go as they please, LIJ has been the most consistent faction and with guys like Naito and Shingo and Hiroumu still in it they have like 80 percent of NJPW's top stars."

Led by Tetsuya Naito LIJ feels both like a band of brothers and also like a group of wrestlers who could lead the promotion at any time. They've lost some members in EVIL and SANADA, but then added who I think is going to be a future ace in Yota Tsuji. LIJ is in good hands."

The talent involved are amongst some all-timers, their chemistry is great, and they are booked relatively strong. Since their debut, they've lost a couple members who were in the shadow of Naito, Hiromu, and Shingo"

Hiromu as the flag bearer for junior heavyweight division is doing great. Sanada is also a major player in the company. Bushi even though is the guy who gets pinfall he is great. Overall best faction NJPW is having without boring."

[4.0] "One of the most promising stables in New Japan with a unique history and strict selection system, where everything revolves around Naito, turned out to be complete nonsense. I write this comment based not only on the current situation, although it obviously prompted this, but the booking of this stable has raised questions since 2018. When some shit happens to one of the members, the rest just disappear. They don't exist. And if someone condescends to help, it will be a completely random wrestler, alone, and of course he will come running too late, when the "crime" has already been committed. In 2020, this reached its peak. At first, Naito's long-awaited victory was successfully ignored by the members of the stable, so that KENTA attacked Naito and the plot happened. On Dominion, we saw the same thing, no one tried to control the Bullet Club, knowing that EVIL is a traitor, and betrayal can not only get away with it, but also bring what he betrayed the family for. On Sengoku - the same story, no one helped hiromu, because it is so convenient. And it doesn't make sense. No matter how many such situations there are - THEY NEVER EXPLAIN ANYTHING TO US, THERE IS NO SECRET MEANING IN IT, IT JUST HAPPENS AND THAT'S IT! This is the whole LIJ. They have everything to be the most legendary group in the history of wrestling, they have an original concept, they have unique and interesting wrestlers, but at first they are just in the shadow of Naito, absolutely not developing as single wrestlers, and now they are starting to fall off, with mediocre and shitty circumstances. A year ago, I would have called Los Ingobernables de Japon - one of the best things that New Japan gave us, because you can close your eyes to small flaws. But when the central plot begins to build on these shortcomings, when everything that was before begins to lose meaning, I just can't be their fans. It's disgusting. I don't give a negative rating just for the reason that the idea of grouping deserves respect and this can't be taken away."

Hiromu and Naito are two of the most popular wrestlers in the company right now, and they have the smallest amount of members out of the big four stables in NJPW. SANADA has been hovering just below the main event for a while now, but I believe he'll eventually break through. Maybe a US or IC title reign?"

They all work great together and every member has some history with Naito in a way or another so it really feels special. The Naito/Hiromu duo is probably the best, it's the big brother/little brother relationship and they have insane chemistry and can be very funny as well."

[10.0] "LIJ, the group that made me a fan of NJPW. This is currently the best stable in the world right now & this is an actual stable where no one actually sucks & that's very rare to find nowadays. Naito: the most popular guy in NJPW right now & my favourite wrestler. Currently has the best character in the business & is my pick to win G1. EVIL: My god what a year he has had. He has been my MVP in G1 & has had outstanding matches this year, especially the win he got over Okada, he totally deserved it. Sky's the limit for him. BUSHI: the most underrated wrestler in NJPW & is one of the goddamn best Jr wrestlers in the world. The fact that he gets booked the way he does infuriates me & the fact he doesn't get booked as strong as the other makes me sick. Either way I hope he gets the Jr title again. ENSERIO MAJIDE. SANADA: Has IWGP Heavyweight Champion written all over him & is gonna be a huge, huge babyface once he leaves LIJ. He's gonna be one of Okada's major rivals in the next few years & is gonna be a goddamn superstar if he isnt already. Hiromu: the best Jr in the world right now & everything he does is fucking GOLD. From having Belto-San to the legendary Daryl, he has quickly solidified himself as one of the top 10 wrestlers in the world & oozes charisma & is a definition of a superstar. Love the guy."

[10.0] "The most exciting stable in NJPW and all of wrestling right now. Naito revolutionised NJPW when he went from the failed Tanahashi-lite to the scoundrel that had his pure mind warped by the mischievous ways of Mexico. While initially despised by the fans for showing a lack of care, they eventually came to appreciate Naito's counter-culture ways. His gimmick was more entertaining each week, and once he started putting on great in-ring performances too it was clear that his LIJ character was gold. EVIL and Bushi were solid additions. EVIL was a big brawler suited for the NEVER title, while Bushi was a relatively impressive high flyer that chased Kushida for all of 2016. EVIL was more impressive, delivering many very good to great matches with his hard hits and fighting spirit, while I though Bushi was impressive at times but a bit too predictable and poorly booked. Sanada's debut as he distracted Okada to allow Naito to win the IWGP heavyweight title was great. Sanada himself is a very impressive talent. His style is very unique and he has performed very well when given the chance thus far. Hiromu was the latest and best addition to LIJ, being the most charismatic and unorthodox junior in wrestling. His odd mannerisms are alluring and his dedication to constantly sacrificing his body is extremely commendable. He has dirty heel passion similar to Naito, but channeled into a unique character. Most importantly, each member of LIJ feels distinct and has a role to play."

[10.0] "For a stable full of strange characters who just started teaming together, their chemistry is freaking unreal. LiDJ mesh so well together and their matches are usually very great. Even their multi-man matches which are supposed to be the "get your shit in" matches are full of energy and are typically exciting. They're the exact opposite of the Bullet Club's strength-in-numbers attitude; all four (soon to be five) members are important and unique enough to stand out on their own. A consistently great act with few bad matches, and possibly my favorite act in wrestling at the moment."
Luv all wrestling wrote on 18.08.2016:

Naito went from being a failed main eventer to the most over man in wrestling. Bushi wenr from generic to popular high flyer with a fan following. EVIL has found a brawler niche. SANADA has gotten the most attention in his career in years. and Los Ingobernable has become refreshed in Japan."

I liked Watanabe when he was doing his thing in ROH, but the whole EVIL gimmick is just cringe worthy. Always been a fan of Bushi. We'll see what Sanada brings in future. Overall, a great young heel stable."
