[9.0] "They was the polar opposite of each other and before they became a team, they was only linked together because of their series of brutal matches from late 98 to early 99. They was a fantastic oddball pairing that was both very entertaining on the microphone and just had incredible chemistry together. The 'This is your Life' segment in particular which is the highest rated segment in Raw istory just does not work with anyone else but these two and Mankind was just endearing watching his hapless attempts try to be best friends with him and at first The Rock not appearing all that receptive until they are forced to fight each other in the 'pink slip on a pole' match where he showed the real respect he had for Foley by rallying the entire locker room to get him reinstated. The only thing that was really lacking was that we had to wait until 2004 for them to have a great PPV match against Evolution at WrestleMania."

[7.0] "Rock 'n' Sock would be ranked higher if they lasted longer as a team. Both Foley and The Rock were great workers and showmen and had great chemistry together. So many memorable segments between these two in their short time together."

[9.0] "The "odd-couple tag team" is an old standby in wrestling, but nobody did it better than these two. Rock and Foley always had great interplay together whether it was in backstage segments or as opponents, and that carried through to their work as a tag team. Their styles meshed very well and they were responsible for some extremely memorable matches and moments, and managed three brief Tag Title runs along the way."

[9.0] "Like Peanut Butter and Chocolate, Mankind and The Rock are two very different individual who meshed perfectly. Together, they created some of the funniest and most memorable segment of wrestling, even maybe of comedy in general. While their tag team in the ring remained basic, it was nonetheless thrilling to see. The only caveat to their legacy is that the team was so short-lived, it's easy to forget the depth of their impact on the wrestling fans."
