[8.0] "Hiromi Yagi fucking rules. I would end my rating there but I have to fill for at least a bit longer so I'll do so. Yagi was a incredibly gifted Jr heavyweight not just in atheticism but also in her Judoka-assisted technical skill; something that she would only truly get to flex when she defected to ARISON and exceled there as a top-tier tag and singles worker. Yagi's talent was in abundance, only being hurt by things that she couldn't help (her lack of size, probably a legit 4'11) alongside a hasty "retirement" due to a early marriage/pregnancy that stalled her momentum and made coming back rather awkward. Yagi would also suffer from underexposure due to JWP's pretty meagre coverage so many of her strong showings simply didn't make tape also. Oh, and her comeback had her right in the middle of the horrible late 90's downturn in business! Yeah basically her luck just wasn't all that great, which is a shame because Yagi was pretty great at any kind of match; high-spot, technical, methodical, tag, like she basically did every role possible and did it incredibly well, the only problem being her terrifically awful timing. She definitely deserved a lot more for her efforts, at least a real retirement at least lol"
[9.0] "Hiromi Yagi was a great technical wrestler, and she was very unselfish and consistent. It seems she is one of the great forgotten wrestlers of the 1990s. People seem to rarely talk about her, and she is definitely one of the most underrated wrestlers ever."
