[9.0] "This is the guy who got me into wrestling. Dude is a powerhouse of entertainment. His skill, power and presence are just astonishing. On top of all that, he's got an amazing body. That a$$ is one of wrestling's best."

[6.0] "Man look, even before the current turn of events which has Ricochet in a really weird spot, I never got behind this guy. He's just... bland. Sure, I can't deny the fact that I'm looking at an amazing performer who defines gravity like nobody else, but he just can't cut a promo to save his life: when he appeared on NXT 2.0 with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams, the duo literally buried Ricochet before he even said a word. When you're THAT notorious for being unable to cut promos, then I feel like any competent promotion should save this guy by giving him a mouthpiece. Would that change things a lot? I don't rightly know; but what I do know is that I'm giving Ricochet a 10 for his in ring work, and a 2 for his character work and mic skills, landing us at a perfect 6."

[1.0] "he could be great in the ring but if acts like a idiot on social media then I don't care about him. he has showed himself to be a fool lots of times now and it's not good heel work, he is just a piece of shit. the best moments from Ricochet are when Drew Mcintyre told him to shut up and .carmelo hayes and trick williams, look hes got a microphone don hurt yourself! . the recent MS Tweet proves just why so many people don't like him, just saying edgy shit and passing it off as heel work when he is just an asshole. the one point is for his selling and in ring work. have to say more so, he's has no mic skills as a face and has a laugh as a heel."

What I also appreciate is that he manages to get fans to clutch their pearls over really mild insults on social media. There's some rose colored glasses for ECW and WWF's "attitude" until something actually resembling it shows up then it's soft serve time."

[6.0] "Amazing performer, not a good character. Trying to be a heel buy insulting people on social media is always going to end up poorly, which is exactly what happened. To clarify, I was never the biggest fan of the stuff he'd been saying as it was only giving him a bad look every time he was saying stuff for the sake of cheap heel heat, but the most recent incident he simply just jumped the shark on. His heel gimmick is now very hard to take seriously, nor appreciate and the sad thing, is that he isn't the first heel to heavily rely on social media to elevate his character in terms of heel heat. I've seen other wrestlers do it and it's only made them look bad as well."

[0.0] "Prince Puma's legacy is greater than Ricochet's! In fact, Ricochet was truly memorable only as a Lucha Underground wrestler, but now he's the ultimate cringe heel. His character is incredibly cartoonish. Come on, they even brought in Zach Gowen to The Elite to give him a match against Rico, to prove what a "great and terrible villain" he is. Even if all his recent attacks on WWE are clumsy, they make him look like a weakling who's bitter about not getting anything from the promotion (he should be grateful for the secondary titles and screen time he was given, and even that was completely unnecessary). It's gotten to the point where he's just insulting people on social media and addressing their ailments. The dude has literally been wrestling for over twenty years, but still has no experience, becoming even worse than Adam Cole. LOL. This guy is literally a "Twitter warrior.""

[6.0] "Feels like a discount Will Ospreay. Can do all the flips and stuff well, but seems to care less about the finer points of ring work. Inconsistent seller and not believable when a match turns into a fight. Lacks natural charisma and is a blackhole of personality. Lacks any real instinct when he starts trying to cut a promo. Sometimes too a painful extent."

[7.0] "should have wrestled all his life with a mask everyone liked his participation as prince puma, for me he is very impressive but this sort of thing you see every week at the arena mexico, its like jevon evens typa wrestler that non lucha watchers see and are like ohhh but they are all imbeciles and ricochet is just one of the rest. cringe outburst on social media too. has some great matches"

[8.0] "Ricochet is devoid of charisma and a pretty good flippy guy who runs his mouth too much on social media. I had heard of him for years before I actually saw him. But it was as Prince Puma in Lucha Underground where his lack of charisma was a gift. the creative for that show was it strength and they put Puma front and center and gave him Konnan as his mouthpiece. He soared to the top of that promotion, having the best matches and winning titles.. When he showed up in WWE, I was expecting Puma-level character building, but all I got was a wet fart in church. They guy has high-flying skills and knows how to be entertaining, but his lack of charisma is his greatest enemy."

[9.0] "Try to explain to a casual wrestling fan that in a point during his career, he was the best in ring wrestler IN THE WORLD. No jokes, he could do anything you ask him to do. Imagine an Will Ospreay, but much better and pretty much smarter, it was that son of a bitch. He came into WWE, which was nice at the beggining to see him at NXT doing some crazy shit and the booking made for him was good, not perfect, but good, and them he went into the main roster, Vince never saw him as a guy he should push, was slowly killing his love for the business and thankfully he made the change of promotion and went to AEW, showing the best he can offer. Great heel turn he had, natural and pretty simple. Always thought that his promo work sucks, but now as a goofy heel it feels a bit better."

[9.0] "Ricochet is one of the most under appreciated performers in wrestling of the past decade. He gets unfairly knocked by a certain type of wrestling fan who just parrots the same tired criticisms about him. But the reality is this guy is an absolute stud and one of the most athletic human beings to ever step foot in a ring. Everywhere he has gone that has invested in him he has been able to get over, so clearly he has plenty of tools to connect with a crowd. Whether it was the indies, NJPW, Lucha Underground, NXT, or AEW, he's gotten over. It was only on the main roster, where he got no push and was an after thought, did he fail. Currently Ricochet is doing great work as a heel and showing a new side to his character. It's a shame that few people take the time to actually appreciate the insane skills this guy has and instead choose to let a bunch of podcast grifters tell them what to think about Ricochet."

[7.0] "Ricochet is good in the ring and is doing probably his best character work in AEW, but the one thing that's stopping him is his promo work, I mean my god he's so bad at talking it's not even funny, he be good from time to time, but half of the time, he's terrible. Also, besides his heel work"

His promos sound AI generated and he really needs to stay off twitter. Despite this, going from WWE to AEW was 100 percent the right move for someone who wrestles like he does. Overall, his matches are usually really good, but there is more that matters in wrestling like charisma, and Ricochet doesn't have that."

[3.0] "Ricochet is a direct proof that wrestling is driven by personalities and emotions, not just dry wrestling and acrobatic moves. Honestly, nobody can do what Ricochet does. He might even be the best high-flyer in terms of skills. But what's the point of those skills when Sheamus wipes the floor with you on a pre-show? That's just irrational. Every wrestler is working towards their own development, their own spot under the sun, and I just don't understand how anyone could tolerate that. Overall, Ricochet in AEW is pretty cringe-worthy as a character. He lacks charisma, and that's a huge problem for him. The best matches Ricochet has had were still when he was fighting Adam Cole and Velveteen Dream in NXT. He's better than Ospreay, but he has a big ego despite not being perfect. And he hasn't really worked on his acting skills either."

[10.0] "One of the best high-flyers of all time but also has great range in his arsenal including many impressive power moves. Sounded awful with a horrible rigid WWE script to work with but the evolution of his heel character in AEW has proved that Ricochet is a complete wrestler."

"I think Ricochet's move to AEW from WWE is the greatest decision he has ever made. Being a heel really suits him and is a lot of fun to watch as apposed to his dreadful face work, he seemed absolutely miserable on the mic, no longer the case. AEW also has taken the baby monitor off of him and he is allowed to shine and take risks in the ring like we always knew he could. I think the next step for him is finding an angle in this heel character where we can find him in a deadly serious feud. Its fun to laugh at him, but for him to be world title bound, he needs to be taken seriously."

[9.0] "I think WWE really messed things up. In my opinion, he has good ideas and executes them very well; you just need to give him the space he deserves. I'm not talking about world titles, but at least letting him take part in important matches from time to time. Not to mention, he rarely has boring matches--even when his opponent isn't great he's very good at comedy and at selling moves that aren't anything special. I don't know, I really like Rico; in AEW he's living the best part of his career and I'm happy for him. Now he's in a stable with the Gates of Agony, and they could do great things. Hopefully, he'll get a title shot so we can see what happens."

Whether it's in NXT, WWE, AEW or even on the indies, he consistently delivers. Since stepping away from WWE, he's shown more depth in his persona. Heel Ricochet with the checkered suits, glasses, and obnoxious laugh is the most character-rich version we've seen yet. His ringwork and physical charisma are unmatched, and now he's backing it up with a distinct attitude that makes him feel like a complete star. He's appealing to hardcore and casual fans alike and wrestles a style that captures the imagination of young viewers. He looks like a real-life Spider-Man in the ring, and it's exciting to see him bring that same energy to his promos and presentation. One of the coolest looking guys on TV right now. This version of Ricochet feels ready for a top spot, and if this momentum keeps building, the sky's the limit"

[5.0] "Look, I love highflyers, and that includes modern era ones. I like Ospreay, I like Eagles, I like Strickland, I like Pac, I like Catanzaro, I like Evans. Ricochet fits that same mold, but the problem is is that Ricochet just cannot tell a story at the same level of his contemporaries. His selling is arguable not as good as anyone I just mentioned either. He really is the "all flash no powder" wrestler everyone has always said every highflyer that's ever existed is, realized. I might've given him an 8...but recently, between his random twitter attacks on Io Shirai and him going off rails to insult a non-wrestler injured in an unplanned spot, he's lost a lot of credibility. The same way I'd give Lo Ki a 10 if skill only mattered, Ricochet would be higher than a 5. But here we are."

[4.0] "Ricochet is a very athletically talented man who knows nothing about pro wrestling. He can do a lot of moves and he's found himself a decent enough character in AEW which bumps his rating up for me. But he knows nothing about ring psychology or how to flow a match. As good as his heel character is, he wrestles the same way wether he's a heel or babyface. His promo skills have gotten better with his character change but he's still far from good. His Lucha Underground run was great because the presentation he had where he didn't need to talk and had a mask on which made him much more Charismatic.Overall, Ricochet is someone who fans of Spot wrestling will like. I don't like him at all"

"Ricochet isn't bad per say, but he's not being groundbreaking in terms of his in ring ability. He's good don't get me wrong, it's just that 90 percent of wrestlers are high flyers and care about quantity over quality. His mic skills are mediocre but can be improved."

[9.0] "One of the best heels I've seen in recent memory. Ricochet is funny, exciting, and plays the villain role so well. His triple threat match against Speedball and Kenny Omega was the first match I saw from him, and his gimmick grew on me from there."

"I don't need to vote because his current 8.36 is pretty much bang on already. And I don't know what Trevor was before now but I can tell you what he is- F'ing awesome. I hear he had no mike skills in the fed. He's killer on promos now. Hilarious. His ring skills are mind numbing. Liquid silk. Work pace. Energy. Speed. Intensity. Acrobatics. Power. Bumps. And very easy on the eyes for looks. Guy has it all, and a hot wife. Had easy street in the big show. And walked away. Because he wanted to stretch. To flex. And to show what he's really got. And when the fans didn't appreciate that in the slightest he turned heel and exploded. I remember when Ospreay signed with AEW and everyone said, "We don't need Ospreay, we have Ricochet'. Ospreay himself agreed. Now, AEW have both. Sure WWE has El Vikingo, Penta, the two Rei's. But what's the use if they're never allowed to Ricochet?"

[9.0] "Ever since his arrival to AEW there has been some very great improvement to ricochet and in his current state is a welcome addition to the roster. After watching his performance in the Dynasty pay per view triple threat it was confirmed to me that he can hang with the top talent and made me happy to have this elevated version of ricochet. I just hope he keeps this up though, because his first months in AEW were pretty rough to say the least."

[10.0] "Some people love to hate on Ricochet, not as a heel but as a person and as a wrestler and I just don't understand it. This guy was putting on 5 star matches in Japan when he was in his early and mid 20s! He's an incredible cruiserweight who can not only fly around but he's surprisingly well rounded and can tell a story. I don't care if he's not the best talker, he's improving at that anyway in AEW. His wrestling ability is almost as good as you can get. Just watch his matches in NJPW with Kota Ibushi and KUSHIDA!"

[6.0] "He was big for me in NXT when he first signed, and is growing on me again now that he's in AEW and has changed up his act, but for five years in between, he gave me nothing to work with or latch onto. So he could go higher again now that he's doing good work again."

[10.0] "Definitely one the best highflyers currently and could be up with the GOAT highflyers once retired, he is a must watch."

[7.0] "His atheleticsm is undeniable, with match after match in his resume that speak MOTY: Vs. Ospreay, INT Title triple threat, NXT ladder match for the NA title, a lot of PWG and LA matches as well. For over a decade he has given cases to be best wrestler in the world with his high-flying maneuvers. However, him as a character is wholly uninteresting. His last real chance in WWE was his feud against Logan Paul, where Logan decimated him on the mic and we all expected a Logan win at Summerslam, no drama. He really suffers in his character work and seems completely against working on it."

[5.0] "Below average in the ring. He had a lot of potential due to how athletic he is but he never pushed on. These days he's been completely left behind by a lot of his peers. His mic work is below average and he doesn't have a lot to set him apart from other wrestlers."

[8.0] "There was a time where Ricochet was certainly one of the best in the world. Always smooth in the ring, was great as Prince Puma in LU and as Ricochet in prime NXT. However, his WWE run after that and his current matches in AEW haven't done anything for me. Hopefully he changes up his style a bit and invents himself new to become truly great again"

[5.0] "I enjoy Ricochet's in-ring work. Extremely athletic, awesome acrobatic moments, and even some of his oversells are nice. That said, that's all there is to him. He lacks presence, his mic work is almost non-existent, and whenever he does talk, his bland personality as a wrestler shows."

That said, he is blander than white bread, lacks both size and a convincing offense to make me think anyone over 220 should be threatened by him, and struggles with logic and pacing at times. Below average overall who can at least delight you with some cool stuff. I don't think there is much more he can do to put himself in a better light. If he added some more technical work to his repertoire it could help him as he ages and loses some speed."

[3.0] "Granted, he's been treated very badly in the WWE and that kinda damaged his status, but I really don't get the hype for this guy. Sure, he's very athletic and talented, but he hardly does anything but flips and his persona is as dull as it gets. Some of his highflying is actually really impressive, but I highly doubt he'll ever become a major superstar in the business EDIT dude is now 36 and athletically less impressive than ever, while still lacking any fundamental understanding of wrestling psychology"

[7.0] "I think Ricochet is a very interesting attraction, for good or for worse, he undeniably changed wrestling and inspired many, and I personally think he's a very interesting athlete, with an impressive skill set, filled with acrobatic moves and an exciting offense. Of course he's not the most charismatic guy, and lacks many important things, but his ability as a high-flyer is impressive."

[5.0] "If we're rating Ricochet simply on his athletic ability alone, then the guy is clearly a 10. Simply put, in-ring there are very few who come even remotely close to being as good as Ricochet is when flying around the ring. However, if we're going to rate him looking at the big picture, then the guy is a 5 at best. His ability to fly around the ring is unparalleled, but his ability to be a "star" and talk on the mic is by far some of the worst I have ever seen. He has no charisma whatsoever, no confidence when talking, no presence. He's without a doubt a very talented wrestler, but he lacks everything else that would truly make him an all time great. He'll go down in history for sure, because some of his matches were really good to watch. But again, as a "star" he falls very flat and being able to fly around the ring isn't enough to warrant a high rating."

[7.0] "A great high-flyer who you can always count on to have a banger of a match, which is evident with his time in Lucha Underground and WWE, especially on NXT. He held every singles mid card championship available in WWE, which shows that there was something there. Despite his excellence in the ring though, his poor mic skills and lack of ability to even cut an above average promo always held him back from properly reaching the main event. I hope now that he is in AEW, they recognise his weaknesses and pair him up with a manager who can mask his inabilities on the mic, as his in ring work is out of this world."

From his days in Lucha Underground as Prince Puma, where he tore the house down with talents like John Morrison and Rey Mysterio, to his time in NXT, where his match against Adam Cole at NXT Takeover Brooklyn in 2018 remains a highlight, Ricochet has consistently delivered when it comes to in-ring performance. Even during his main roster run in WWE, which had its ups and downs, he still managed to shine against top-tier opponents like AJ Styles and Gunther. Physically, Ricochet is a marvel. His incredible conditioning allows him to go the distance in longer matches, maintaining the same level of intensity from bell to bell. This level of endurance not only helps him stand out in the ring but also makes him a reliable performer who can be counted on to deliver, even when the stakes are high. It's this combination of physical prowess and in-ring ability that has earned Ricochet a loyal fanbase and the respect of his peers. However, Ricochet's strengths in the ring don't fully translate to his mic work. His promos, while improved during his WWE tenure, often come across as monotone and lacking the passion needed to connect with the audience on a deeper level. For a wrestler to reach the pinnacle of the industry, strong promo skills are essential, and this is an area where Ricochet has struggled. His character work has also felt stagnant at times, particularly during his WWE run, where he often seemed like just another babyface on the roster, lacking the distinct personality needed to stand out in a crowded field. Despite these challenges, Ricochet's recent move to AEW presents an exciting opportunity for him to reinvigorate his character and reach new heights. If he can find the right balance between his incredible athleticism and storytelling in the ring, while continuing to develop his promo skills, there's no doubt that Ricochet can once again become a top star. After all, with his track record of amazing matches and his undeniable talent, the sky's the limit for what Ricochet can achieve."
