I hope to see big things in her future down the road because she gets the wrestling business."

Already becoming bland, especially for someone who has just won gold straight away. I do like her glamorous entrance; it was very well represented. Decent on the microphone as well. I might need to see more before making any final comments; might have the return back to this review."

From the start of 2025 to now is a very stark difference, to say the least. Still was involved in one of my favorite matches and feuds of the year, and I hope she's able to find herself once again."

[10.0] "Blake Monroe/Mariah May is the definition of a star, she's proved herself everywhere she's been so far. From showing out on the UK indies, to making a name for herself in Stardom, to signing with AEW and now WWE. She's truly inspiring, this was her dream and she dedicated her life to get here. I immediately became a fan of her once she debuted on Dynamite, her charisma, her look, her character work, her ring work is good, she's believable, I truly believed she was a horrible human being. She had one of the best modern storylines with Toni Storm those two were perfect for each other and pulled off an excellent story together along with RJ City. She's a fantastic heel, I enjoyed her heel work in vignettes, promos and during matches like at ALL IN with the infamous slap to her own mother, or taking Papa Rosa's cane at World's End, are just some examples. In WWE, she just had her first great match on WWE against Jordynne Grace at Heatwave where I feel like she got to showcase her talent for the first time in a competitive 1v1 setting, and she's just getting started. I think she will be one of the important pieces of the future WWE women's division, she's got it."

In the ring she's nothing special; good on the mic (as a heel), but she still needs strong opponents or else things risk falling apart. They paired her with Grace and now she's feuding with her, which is the right choice, but I don't know how long she can keep going with this little game. She's 27 and still has room to grow, but right now she's NXT-level material and nothing more. She needs to learn to stand on her own two feet."

[3.0] "Blake Monroe might have the look, the gear, and the Instagram poses, but none of it feels like her own. Watching her wrestle is like flipping channels between Toni Storm and Tiffany Stratton -- except she's stuck on "bootleg mode." She's got Toni's "rockstar rebel" swagger but without the effortless charisma, and she's got Tiffany's glam-girl persona but without the timing, wit, or presence to pull it off. In the ring, her moves feel rehearsed instead of reactive, like she's more focused on remembering someone else's playbook than telling her own story. The mic work? More like karaoke night with someone reading from a script they didn't write. Instead of carving out her own niche, Monroe is content to be a patchwork version of two women who already do everything she's trying -- and do it leagues better. At the end of the day, Blake Monroe isn't bringing anything fresh to the table; she's just reheating someone else's leftovers and hoping no one notices."

I'm not gonna say Toni carried the story, but she definitely helped it more than Mariah did. The fact that as soon as Toni went away for a whole and Mariah had her title reign, it was very uninteresting and kinda bad at certain points. She's alright in the ring but doesn't really stand out. She's got decent enough character work but doesn't really stand out. Nothing about her really stands out. She is young and has plenty of time to improve, and I hope she does. I'm happy for her that she's "home" and wish her the best."

His mic skills are also great, his way of selling the moves reminds me of Maryse, she nail being both babyface and heel"

She can wrestle, talk so well on the mic, she has the entire package, personality, she is a massive draw. With her incredible feud with Toni Storm was just everything the women's division needed with AEW, they were literally carrying PPV's almost all the time when they were booked. The Hollywood Ending was just how Storm would say, CINEMA! Buuuttt now. She no longer there anymore, she moved up, big times. She has finally debuted in the WWE in NXT. Mind you she had 100 out of her about to near hit only 200 matches, were in Stardom, like the amount of praise with the hype she carriers with not even 200 matches is crazy to me, unreal. We all are waiting now for her to become NXT Women's Champion sooner than later of course. The dream matches that we can only imagine now within NXT and the WWE main roster of the women's division on Raw & Smackdown. Big things to come for Mariah May, I also don't want damn TKO or whoever that wants to change her name, she should be allowed and no reason to not keep it, if not, it is what it is, just hope she gets the proper treatment that we believe she does deserve."

She seems to have worked abnormally hard on the indies (the extensive signature moves list speaks for itself, my goodness), & is definitely reaping the rewards of her hard work through her success with AEW & title reign. It's rare that I'm this impressed with someone this fast & I look forward to see what NXT can do with her. I don't understand people discontented with the new name. It's no JC Mateo & it's certainly no Dolph Ziggler (what the fuck was that fr? )."

As for Mariah herself, it'll be interesting to see what she'll do in North America without Toni and Tony. She kinda looked a bit similar to Stratton last night; I hope her gimmick and character doesn't become a copy/paste of Tiffy's because I know she can be more than that. Welcome to your dream promotion, Mariah!"

And now, that character is completed with the final betrayal. What if Luke had stabbed Leia in the back or if Sam had stolen the ring? There's a tragic beauty in this. Pain. In a world of fake, real hearts are breaking. And Mariah's may be one of them. This couldn't have been an easy decision. Tony Khan gave her everything. And she took it all and walked away for more. Now, we'll find out if it was for the money, for the culture, or if it really was all about Mariah."

That said, I feel like she's still at the very beginning of her career. I'm hoping she can make waves in WWE, where there is much more room to dive into more stories. I don't want to take anything away from her program in AEW with Toni. It was probably the best story from AEW's women in that company's history. But the problem for Mariah is that there was nothing for her to do there once that concluded, as Tony Khan had not built up anyone else for her to work with. Mariah is good in the ring & has the ability to make some good memories in this business, so long as she has people to work with."

[10.0] "Edit: I freaking LOVE this woman. I am giving her the full 10 here. She is an ABSOLUTE star, and she makes for an entertaining & compelling villain. AEW struck gold by pushing her to the moon, and committing with Mariah since Day 1. Now here is the rest of my old review that I made earlier this year. Honestly, Mariah May seems to be good in the ring from the limited matches/highlights that I've seen from her on YouTube and Twitter since summer 2019. I particularly like the execution of her Springboard Miissile Dropkick (off the corner) as an example off the top of my head. I'd like to see Mariah compete in WWE or in AEW some day. EDIT: I made my original review for Mariah May back on August 28th, 2022. I freaking LOVE Mariah now! She is THE full package. Mariah is pretty damn good in the ring. She is a really good talker. She definitely oozes charisma. She has a lot of personality, and she shines brightly as a character with Toni Storm. She is one of the hottest acts in the AEW women's division. She also has an excellent look too! Mariah May is secretly one of AEW's best hires on the women's side over the last 2 years (along with Toni Storm and Mercedes Mone). I am bumping my original rating from a 7 to a JUSTIFIED 9 here. I would not even be surprised if I give Mariah the full 10 within the next couple of years at this rate (which I eventually did several months later)."

Solid wrestling work and very charismatic. Her feud with Toni Storm has been great. Hoping her to rid AEW of Toni and her terrible overacting.. I think putting the title on her so new to the company has been more strategic as I expect Jaymie Hayter is being setup to take that title back, which would be "best for business." However, Mariah May has a bright future in wrestling."

I watched the majority of her matches in Stardom and she was often among the most over wrestlers towards of the end of her run as she excelled in engaging audiences. Rating Mariah based on look, promo, and in-ring ability, I would rate her as 10-9-7. She is clearly confident with her look, character, and she always has awesome ring gear. I have watched a handful of promos since Mariah signed with AEW and it looks like she has done well in this department as well. She started as a ring announcer so clearly she is confident speaking in front of audiences. Finally, it's somewhat hard to judge Mariah's in-ring ability since she ate a lot of pins in Stardom. Still, she knew how to work crowds and like every other part of her personality, she showed confidence in the ring. I don't recall any glaring botches and always felt entertained watching her wrestle. All in all, Mariah is likely to continue improving and should be pushed accordingly."

Here was an obviously beautiful, tall, athletic blonde but other than that, I wasn't sure. I think her first couple matches she acquitted herself well but it was obvious that she was having to adjust to being put into matches with unfamiliar wrestlers, a totally different style, and having to deal with being in a new country with a language barrier. But the speed at which she was able to adapt was incredible. It wasn't long before she was mixing it up with the roster, laying her stuff in hard, and connecting with the crowd. It was awesome to see and by all accounts, she's put in the work necessary. She's recently been added to the 5* GP which is really big for her. I have no idea how long she might be in Stardom for (I would imagine any of the big promotions in the West would absolutely love to have her on their roster) but I hope it's a while because she's been a great addition. Oh, and she really impressed when she did the English commentary for the Allstar Grand Queendom show on basically maybe...ten minutes notice? She was funny, was able to stay in character while putting over the other wrestlers, didn't really speak over the other commentators...in short, she was a wonderful addition and really helped add that little extra to what is make pick for show of the year so far."
