[9.0] "Isiah Kassidy is one of those guys who doesn't get the flowers he deserves, but once you notice him, you can't stop watching. As one-half of Private Party, he burst onto the AEW scene with electric energy, pulling off insane aerial moves and injecting real personality into the tag division. While Marq Quen brought the cool swagger, Kassidy brought the noise -- literally and figuratively. His exaggerated screams, wild bumps, and timing made him a walking highlight reel (and meme gold). Over time, Kassidy evolved. He went from a high-flying rookie to a versatile act -- holding it down in comedy, character work, and still taking ridiculous bumps when needed. His work with Matt Hardy in the Hardy Family Office (and later The Firm) may have gotten convoluted storyline-wise, but Kassidy always stood out. Whether he was the guy getting thrown off ladders or flirting with the camera mid-match, he never phoned it in. He's shown flashes of real solo potential too. His match with Chris Jericho on Rampage (Feb 2022) proved he can hang in the ring with big names, and his charisma is off the charts -- he just needs more spotlight. AEW's roster is crowded, but Kassidy has a rare gift: he's got both the in-ring flash and the on-mic goofball genius to be a breakout star, either as a midcard favorite or an eventual heel character that leans fully into his over-the-top antics. A gifted athlete, a natural entertainer, and one breakout story away from really catching fire."
[7.0] "The best member of private party, the guy has the potential to be a single wrestler and is quite popular, the moaning trick lasted too long and was annoying but despite that he can be a good face being an underdog without the need to be a clown."
[8.0] "Fantastic prospect with time on his side. Kassidy is confident and charismatic before a live audience, and while his stringbean look isn't prototypical for a wrestler he does look like an athlete. To say that he's agile in the ring is a huge understatement - Kassidy makes movements that many would find impossible look easy - and he combines his physical gifts with a thoughtful approach to ring work. Still working AEW's undercard but he feels like he could go a lot higher. Has at least enough to hit the jobber-to-the-stars level in the major leagues and might establish himself as a star in his own right."
[8.0] "Zay has a lot of potential. His charisma if off the charts and he is pretty damn hilarious. I think if he was given a decent comedic story in AEW he would kill it and get super over. I loved his overconfidence in his match against Samoa Joe and his inflated ego is where a lot of his comedy comes from. It's a shame Marq is often injured as it obviously halts seeing Kassidy as much as we probably should."
[6.0] "Young tag wrestler with a lot of potential. Had a great start in AEW with Private Party's win over the Young Bucks. After that their flaws and inexperience began to be seen. He also suffered from bad booking of the HFO and AFO stories that he got stuck in. He has shown improvement in the ring in the Hardys v Firm feud although it also got him a cringier gimmick."
[6.0] "Isaiah has really improved a lot over the last year, and it's to the point where he doesn't feel like the less interesting part of his team. His problem is that the talent level in the rest of the company has also improved, so when you look at the roster it's hard to see who he should replace. Still, he's gotten better and more fun to watch as time has gone on."
[7.0] "Kassidy is an underrated talent. He has charisma and shines in his backstage segments. He is an excellent seller and consistently has entertaining tag matches. The future is bright for him."
[5.0] "Kassidy was one of the hottest up-and-comers when AEW first started, propelled by the Young Bucks putting him and Quen over in a tag tournament match. He had some very impressive acrobatics and a nicely boastful aura, making him quite exciting to watch. Sadly, Private Party never recaptured the magic they had after their first few Dynamite appearances, having consistently less and less impressive or memorable performances while other tag teams proved far more deserving of a push instead. The Private Party heel turn did nothing to help re-package them, and getting lumped in with the "Hardy Family Office" denigrated them even further. Kassidy can still show off some impressive high-flying attacks, and he can still bump well for his opponents, but he's also not been able to direct his heel character towards any interesting end, and he's also become noticeably sloppier compared to his early run in the company. He's still very young at only 24, so I hope he can turn things around and flourish into an exciting high-flyer alongside Quen, but things aren't in his favour at the moment. Oh, and I have to add that the childish scream he would do when hyping himself up or selling for an opponent was really stupid, making a mockery of his work instead of adding anything of value. I haven't noticed that as much since he turned heel, and I hope he never brings it back if he wants to be taken remotely seriously. He should try model his attitude after Sammy Guevara if he wants to be a high-flyer with 'attitude' of some sort."
[6.0] "I mean, he's not THAT bad. Kassidy isn't a great in-ring performer, actually probably not even decent, but he's got charisma, a look that suits his character, and character itself that immediately makes him more entertaining than most of his competition. He could get better in-ring, his glaring weakness, but I'm not sure, he comes off as a bit complacent since he has the talented high-flyer Quenn by his side for now."
[7.0] "Not as flashy as Quen, but definitely has a lot of upside. Still trying to do too much in the ring, but had an awesome singles showing against Jericho. This isn't going to be a situation where if they ever split the team that he'll be forgotten."
[6.0] "He is actually very decent for how young he is. Was a bit overexposed in the early days of AEW Dynamite, since it quickly became apparent that besides a million flips and flops he is still developing some semblence of in-ring psychology. During the corona virus hiatus, he and his partner Marq Quen showed on BTE that they have a lot of charisma and motivation to entertain, which is only going to help him become better in the future. The latest storyline with Matt Hardy with shine some more spotlight on him and I am interested enough in his development to see where it goes. In the end, experience and chances to shine (or fail) are what is going to decide Kassidy's career path from here on out."
