Her role as a manger is where she was best cast, making her work is what caused the end of her run. She had a match with IYO SKY that was so bad it got "this is boring" chants."

[7.0] "Sonya Deville is a wrestler I've always believed had far more potential than what we ever got to see on screen. From her MMA background to her confident mic work, she had all the tools to become a standout performer in WWE's women's division. She brought a level of realism and grit that made her feel different from the typical roster -- her strikes looked legit, her promos had presence, and her look stood out in a meaningful way. Unfortunately, I feel like WWE never really gave her the opportunity to shine in a consistent, meaningful storyline. She often played a supporting role -- whether as a sidekick to Mandy Rose or as an authority figure -- and while she played those roles well, they didn't capitalize on her in-ring ability or her real-life passion for wrestling. When she finally did get a push, it was either cut short or sidelined by other circumstances. Her personal strength and openness outside the ring also deserve respect. But strictly from a wrestling career standpoint, I give her a solid 7/10. She had the talent, the look, and the attitude -- but not the consistent creative backing to elevate her to the top, which is a real shame."

[8.0] "Sonya Deville is an exceptional striker and promo talker because she brings a level of authenticity and danger that few others can match. With a legit MMA background, her strikes aren't just for show--they're fast, precise, and hit with intent, making every kick, punch, and knee feel like a finishing blow. She moves like a trained fighter because she is one, and that realism sets her apart in a world of choreography. On the mic, Sonya's delivery is calm, calculated, and razor-sharp--she doesn't need to yell to command attention. Whether she's playing a manipulative authority figure or standing toe-to-toe with a rival, her promos drip with confidence and quiet menace. She speaks with purpose, never wasting a word, and her presence oozes control. There's a chill in her voice that says she's already three moves ahead of you--and probably planning the fourth just for fun. Sonya isn't just talking or fighting; she's outthinking and outstriking the competition, and that's what makes her truly dangerous."

Imo the best GM figure we've had in a while. The 2 current guys and Ava are just so bland and uninteresting, they cant cut it. Every time Sonya was handed a mic she was heard and she got nice heel heat and got the crowd to boo her. On her wrestling I never had a problem with her in the ring, she seemed pretty good to me. Imo she was much better than Mandy and she deserved the push Mandy got. Mandy never progressed as a wrestler or in the mic, while Sonya was the one that naturally grew in one of the best heels of her time. They really killed off her career by putting her in the female version of Retribution -> PFC. She was put with two women that have absolutely 0 charisma and presence, Zoey and Shayna just dont work as entertainers. Cant wait for her to go to TNA Sonya vs Masha and vs Tessa (in a loser leaves TNA, would be epic). Im 100% she will reach the level Deonna and Gordynne reached. Daria Deville also has such a ring to it, cant wait."

Her breakthrough story aftershock podcast eventually got her attention by WWE, also her tough enough audition tapes added to the buzz. Daria came out during production of the tough enough program, making WWE history being an active gay pro athlete to come out on camera. Her journey had one problem with the first elimination by the judges. It didnt stop her though to get better with presence as she would get signed regardless. She had continued to train in the PC for two years and added her own experience of cage fighting to the game, her first official matchup on a July episode of NXT tagging and facing amongst debutants Mandy Rose, Liv Morgan and Nicola Glencross respectively. She would later debut as Sonya Deville the following year, marked an incredible year streak which she received a NXT Womens title shot against Ember Moon which was unsuccessful thus ending her streak and called up to RAW with her bff Mandy Rose. Crap stories later on, a crap hair vs hair match turned loser leaves WWE battle that seen her return months later on and before the world knew it, her general manager run happened as Daddy Deville butted heads with Adam Pearce and invoked herself in a RAW Womens championship match with Bianca Belair, losing the match and her job shortly after. She returned full time on RAW, losing to another returning female superstar Alexa Bliss. Always steered her to greatness has graced the stage stakes more appearances. More tag teams with the likes of Chelsea Green have bubbled her fans to the service. Her faction flowed with Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark as the Pure Fusion Collective. She seems like the decagon type of performer, marking lines of symmetry up to what holds her career up is to highlight others without stealing the spotlight, very professional and yet as a wrestler she is sporty enough and tough enough to evolve womens wrestling significance tenfold. She is the pride fighter who doesnt not back down."

Her promos are all over the place and rarely hit. She is the worst in-ring women's worker in the company. With 8 years of in-ring experience, she still feels very green. She botches a lot, and brings actually great women's workers down in their match, destroying the quality and creating a snoozefest of a match. Shes been really on a downhill slope recently."

While not everyone who only trains at the PC and works for WWE is lacking, (Lesnar, Batista, Cena, Orton), there's more that just aren't complete wrestlers and promos. The PC is going to teach you to find the hard cam, develop a pose, choreograph your entrance, and talk in sound bites. That's important but it shouldn't be all you know. Sonya Deville is a perfect representation of limited experience."

Her speed is a real asset and her physical condition could have allowed her to be more effective, if she had had the opportunity to practice more. I think she is quite adaptable and if, in fact, she was rather inconsistent while being General Manager, she sometimes proved that it was possible for her to be interesting, like during her (bad) story with Mandy Rose."

She is a true heel in any given character for her from Fire & Desire to solos against Mandy to her WWE Official to her recent work with Chelsea Green. I just know her return if Chelsea does still have the tag team championship will be heated with Piper and her. Excited for her road to recovery."

I mean I can't even think of one aspect that Deville that isn't below average. Her promo skills, wrestling, gimmick, none of it is interesting & if we are going to be really honest here, you would think WWE would have made the right move & to release her prior to the pandemic. Her need to associate MMA to her character was beyond laughable and it's safe to say that she's 1 of the few individuals I do not mind turning off the TV to go watch or do something else."

You can slot her into alot of roles and she will fit in pretty well She plays a bitch really well, great promos and as for In-Ring I would have to see more in a meaningful feud, The MMA Background does give a legit vibe to her and they should tap in to this more but not by making it her entire character. I feel it would have been a really good idea for her to return to NXT after her break to create a more substantial character and to build a better connection with the fans"
