124.10.2025BotchCara Overrated, one-note gimmick that leads to nowhere. She's solid in the ring for the most part, but can't cut a promo to save her life. A perfect example of a big fish in a small pond, she is perhaps the most over woman in AEW save for Toni.

521.10.2025Jacob Cass9.0It's no secret that she's a great worker (asides that frog splash), but what I really like is the belt collector gimmick she's currently using. It's weird how people are disingenuous when talking about the gimmick like she's supposed to be this dominant champ, when the entire idea is that she's a heel who's compensating for not being able to win the big one by collecting all these less significant belts. That's actually a clever spin on your typical belt collector. A unique idea and a good tool to use when telling the story of her eventual world title win but you get dishonest comparisons to Ultimo dragon and pointless questions about how important these titles are which don't matter once you get why she has all those titles. I do think aew could do a better job of making this point obvious but yeah, price in her overall significance in modern wrestling and you've got an 8.7 for the full package. I feel her character work has improved recently but can get better.

721.10.2025KreepyKrawler6.0Mercedes Mone has undeniably established herself as one of the most talented and charismatic wrestlers in recent memory. Her presence in the ring, combined with her impressive list of titles and accomplishments, has cemented her status as a top-tier performer. However, with great success comes great responsibility--and also great scrutiny. Lately, it feels as though Mercedes, despite holding multiple titles, isn't putting in the effort that once made her a standout star. It's almost as if she has become complacent, riding on her reputation rather than actively elevating the divisions she's a part of. This perception isn't a slight against her talent or charisma--far from it. I love Mercedes Mone, and I genuinely believe she has the potential to continue being a cornerstone of women's wrestling. But love and admiration also come with a desire for authentic storytelling and meaningful competition. It's not enough for her to hold titles; she needs to earn her opportunities and prove that her dominance is well-deserved, not just a given because of her past accomplishments or star power. Right now, it feels like some of her opponents are doing all the heavy lifting. The matches are entertaining, but the narrative seems to lack the tension and stakes that truly elevate a rivalry. For Mercedes to regain her edge and solidify her legacy, she needs to face challenges that test her in ways that matter--not just easy defenses against opponents she's already beaten or those who are clearly beneath her. She needs to be pushed, challenged, and ultimately, she needs to earn her title shots through compelling storylines and credible rivalries. In that vein, I believe the current landscape deserves some shifts. For instance, the TBS Championship, which has been a hotly contested division, should be in the hands of wrestlers who can bring new energy and compelling stories. Kristatlander, Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida are all exceptional performers with the talent and charisma to elevate the division further. These women have shown resilience, skill, and the ability to tell engaging stories inside the ring. They are the kind of wrestlers who could inject new life into the TBS title--and, by extension, the women's division as a whole. As for Mercedes Mone and her pursuit of the AEW Women's World Championship, I believe a storyline that truly makes sense and adds depth is for her to face Toni Storm. Mercedes has accumulated an impressive collection of titles, and in many ways, holding multiple championships can sometimes diminish the significance of each individual title. It can turn the championship picture into a bit of a "done deal, " where the focus shifts away from the ongoing competition and toward the titles themselves. Therefore, if Mercedes were to defeat Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Championship, it would create an immediate problem: what's next? With Mercedes holding all the titles, it's hard to craft a compelling storyline around her, because she's essentially at the top of the mountain already. It would feel like an endgame rather than a chapter in an ongoing story. Instead, I believe Mercedes should experience her first meaningful loss to Toni Storm. A loss at this stage would serve multiple purposes. First, it would elevate Toni Storm, giving her a significant victory that could propel her into the main event scene with confidence. Second, it would add a layer of realism and tension to the story, demonstrating that Mercedes still has vulnerabilities and needs to work her way back up if she wants to regain the top spot. Third, it would inject new life into the women's division by creating fresh rivalries and storylines rooted in genuine competition and earned victories. This kind of narrative--Mercedes losing to Toni Storm--would also serve as a catalyst for Mercedes to re-evaluate her approach, push herself harder, and re-engage with her opponents on a more competitive level. It would be a classic story arc of redemption, resilience, and the pursuit of greatness, rather than an automatic coronation simply because Mercedes feels she deserves it. Wrestling stories thrive on challenge and adversity, and this scenario would provide that in spades. In summary, Mercedes Mone is a phenomenal talent who has already achieved a lot, but her legacy will be cemented not just by her titles, but by her willingness to face credible challengers and to tell compelling stories inside the ring. She needs to earn her title shots and respect through meaningful rivalries, not just assume her place at the top because of her star power. The women's division, especially with contenders like Kristatlander, Jamie Hayter, and Hikaru Shida, is rich with talent that can elevate the storytelling--if given the proper opportunities. Having Mercedes lose to Toni Storm would be a smart move--one that elevates both women, reinvigorates the division, and provides fans with a story worth investing in. It's about creating moments that matter, about respecting the craft of storytelling in professional wrestling, and about ensuring that the titles and opportunities are earned, not just handed out. That's how legends are truly made.

1020.10.2025x1MCI99.0Mercedes is an incredible performer. She wasn't always treated the best during her time in WWE, but it's great to see her finally getting the recognition she deserves. All the titles and success she's earning now are long overdue. Watching her succeed is nice, but I can't help but miss Sasha Banks. Hopefully, one day, we'll get to see her return to WWE under that name again.
1119.10.2025deeterm045.0She's solid in ring but that's about it. Has zero promo skills and just cares about her own ego. No memorable feuds since leaving the federation and seems to be holding back the AEW women's division. A few good matches but nothing to rave about

2012.10.2025Redisonsashuisosi10.0I really love Sasha Banks, who is now Mercedes Mone. In 2019, 2020, and 2021, Sasha proved to everyone that she is literally the best female wrestler on the planet. She can put on a match with absolutely any performer. Her matches are spectacular, and Sasha herself is flexible and agile. She knows how to deliver an exciting bout. Plus, she has a beautiful and strong abs (for me, that's an important trait for any female wrestler when it comes to physical conditioning). In AEW, as Mercedes Mone, she has earned every single title in her collection. In AEW, she delivers top-tier matches that are different from what she showcased in WWE. But in WWE, she showed powerful matches--she even had a great match with Ronda Rousey, which is almost impossible. She's a great wrestler. Her matches with Bayley and Biancca are some of the best I've seen in wrestling. Sometimes, her matches, both in AEW and WWE, steal the show completely.

2802.10.2025maven lover3.0Has an ability to carry younger workers to good matches on good sunny days, but her time in AEW has rendered her a lazy, complacent snore to watch. Despite being utterly average, she has an ego the size of Zach Edey & is a prime example of the patented way that Khan can bring the very worst out of his workers when he wishes to; combine this with a promo game that is easily in the 0-2 category (it's not even debatable! ) & that makes Mone one of the more overrated performers in American wrestling today. Wild how the fOuR hOrSeWomEn trope only resulted in two out of the four of them being any good. My interest in her reign is absolutely zero & I look forward to when she loses it to a proper worker. For the complaints that I have about Adam Page (Generic character, lack of character progression overtime, ) at least he is semi-okay at promos & is admittedly nothing to sneeze at in ring. Mone can not make a statement for either of these things. She failed to carry a ring-rusty Riho to a good match at All Out. Her aaaaangry facials & tirades after near falls are so bad, lol.

3126.09.2025Ph4se0ut10.0I am such a mark for Sasha, it's almost embarrassing. I love everything this lady does. She's such an incredible and important part in the women's evolution in WWE taking place, and I just really got behind her. To be fair, I'm not familiar with her work in any promotion other than WWE except for that fantastic match with Bayley at Takeover Brooklyn in NXT. I, like so many, loved that match and was so happy to see those girls do so well and for the world to see it. I love her Meteora, the Backstabber, the Bank Statement, and it's super cool to see her bust out the Three Amigos every now and then. I dig her moveset and how she performs them in other words. She and Charlotte have the distinction of being in the first women's Hell in a Cell, and Sasha also had that great Cell match with Becky. The hair looks fantastic on her and I love when she wears gear inspired by Eddie Guerrero like she did at WrestleMania. Her entrance song and unique mannerisms are great every time. I prefer the original version but the remix was cool, too. It was nice to see her and Bayley become the very first WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, and I could really feel a sense of how important it was to her, and how it was a culmination of a long road for her and all the women. Legit fucking boss.

3612.09.2025Heym5.0I don't get the hype. I would rate her in the middlest mid you can imagine, though she has above average charisma. I espc don't get the praise for her in-ring performance as that is not flashy, nor consistent, nor anything special at all. Nobody looks better against her unless her enemy was pretty poor gifted beforehand.
3709.09.20252pt0EcoBoostFusion6.0ORIGINAL 9/12/2024:Mercedes Mone is one of the most polarizing women's wrestlers both presently and historically, which is for reason of course. There are often debates of whether she is the "greatest" women's wrestler of all time and others debate whether she is overrated. I have to agree with many on the latter discussion, I personally believe Mercedes is quite overrated and in her 4 Horsewomen group when it comes to her in-ring work, mic work, and everything else besides aura and character, she ranks last on the 4HW debate lists, which isn't a rag on Mercedes, rather her class is just really good. I'm not saying Mercedes is "bad" because she isn't a bad worker in any sense and is decent, but overrated is definitely more true than "the best". She has had great matches with some wrestlers and some argue that most who have worked with Mercedes have had their "best" match with her, but in my humble opinion, and it's subjective, I'm not really interested in Mercedes as a wrestler. Recently, she made her debut a couple months ago in AEW and it's been rocky to say the least. Her promos are meh and I don't like how she pushed herself up the card this early into her run and beat a very over Willow and a fast rising star in Stephanie Vaquer, many of these events managed to get a lot of AEW fans and wrestling fans in general to turn on her and led to Go-Away heat, and there are many fans that are now starting to realize that her ego is getting to her head which is causing more polarization. I'm not even sure if she's going to be a net positive for AEW and it's looking like the opposite so far. To sum up however, I think Mercedes is fine as an overall wrestler, but severely overrated by many people. EDIT: Well, I can't say I've "liked" her AEW run because I certainly haven't, but 9 Belts? Seriously? I don't see much value in her holding those belts either if you ask me.

3908.09.2025ultravioletshiroi6.0Mercedes Moné (FKA Sasha Banks) is one of the hardest wrestlers to rate. In-ring she's good, not elite like some of WWE's top performers, but solid. Her strength is storytelling and making opponents look strong, which keeps her matches enjoyable. That said, her AEW run has exposed weaknesses: her promos sound forced, her gimmick feels obnoxious, and she leans too much on her WWE legacy. She rarely loses, which makes her come off as selfish, and her reputation has taken hits from awkward outside ventures. She's nowhere near as athletic as WWE's top women, and charisma wise she's regressed. Still, I respect her adaptability and enjoy most of her matches, but she desperately needs better booking and less control over her own character.
4007.09.2025I love you wrestling5.0Average wrestler known for being from a place that didn't have any real wrestlers at all for decades so stood out for simply existing. Minus points for the overrated and over exposed factor. Bonus points for being hot I guess, but that doesn't make her Manami fucking Toyota.

4207.09.2025tnl39710.0She probably the most decorated pro-wrestler of all time. Winning titles wherever she goes proves how much every company values her and want her to represent their women's division. She is comparatively smaller in size than her fellow female superstars but still she can go head to head against any of them and put on a spectacular match. She has amazing chemistry with almost everyone and her storytelling is great in the ring. She has played a key role in women's wrestling evolution and has certainly cemented her name in gold in the history of professional wrestling regardless how many people or podcasters speak ill about her.

4404.09.2025ale8Dude10.0"The Hate on this woman is some of the most forced BS I have seen from the wrestling fandom in a long time. Her & Toni have proven to be the number 1A and 1B of AEW. Compare to her four horsewomen counterparts back in WWE, her & Bayley are the best all-rounds when it comes to in-ring skills and mic skills. Though sometimes her promos have been underwhelming, but not everything is going to be a homerun. She bet on herself, left WWE and has become one the best of this generation."
4504.09.20252049mery10.0
4601.09.2025Sakki10.0She is perhaps the most divisive wrestler of all time. You either love her or hate her, but you can't deny her. She's such a great seller; I think that part about her often gets overlooked. She makes her opponents look good, and she's just fantastic at everything she does in the ring. Many people love to talk about "aura" in wrestling; NJPW Mercedes is the epitome of aura in a wrestler, in my opinion (she had a whole championship made for her). People say she's "overrated"; I say she's the most OVERHATED wrestler of all time. The only downside is her current AEW run, which hasn't been the best character-wise and promo-wise, even though she always manages to get a reaction, making her one of, if not the greatest women's wrestling heel of all time. But just reflecting on how Mercedes' career turned out: when she bet on herself and walked out of WWE, she really became the CEO of her own life. She got to wrestle Joshis, which has always been her dream, started holding titles for more than 27 days, and became the highest-paid female wrestler. Inspiring. Icon. She also genuinely loves pro wrestling more than most nowadays. Once she hangs up her boots, everyone will realize what we had: the greatest of all time. "She isn't as good as she thinks she is" is the most bot comment I keep seeing repeated. She's the best at in-ring work out of the Four Horsewomen, all-time in North America, and arguably the best female in-ring performer in the world right now. The history revisionists are going insane currently.
4701.09.2025sdenapoli6.0Mercedes Mone is undeniably an incredibly talented and gifted performer, but her attitude since leaving WWE in 2022 can best be described as controversial. Look, she's good, but does she really need 6 (edit: now 9! ) TITLES AT ONCE. No one, no matter how talented, deserve that. 9/10 in ring and on the mic but a 1/10 for literally admitting to having creative control BROTHER.
4828.08.2025Giant Lizard6.0I think she is ok. She's certainly pretty, but in-ring I find much more better female wrestlers than her. I think she also lacks mic skills. But she's not awful though, I think she's a decent wrestler.
4928.08.2025atomikdeath Many of her doubters will point to her work rate or will fall victim to her convincing heel work but the one thing they can't dispute is just how good phenomenal Mercedes Mone is in the ring. With over 1000 matches in her belt, she has the ability to make terrible opponents look good and average opponents look great. When she's across from a great opponent you will watch a match that will make your brain expand. Her matches are philosophy. You can tell she loves what she does and loves trying new things and being great at them. To me, she has the mentality of, if your not walking into the venue trying to do your best and dedicate everything to being great, then go home.

But everyone saying she is the greatest woman's wrestler of all-time can kick rocks. She is good. I'll give her that. Her matches with Bayley in NXT were landmark bouts for the division, as well as he affiliation with the Four Horsewomen, certainly put her in the upper echelon. But her ego is out of control and I can see her becoming a problem to any company she works in. And her drawing ability is questionable.

6709.08.2025Chainer211110.0Without question especially after what she has done since leaving WWE Mercedes Mone aka Sasha Banks is the greatest North American womens wrestler of all time. People made that claim when she was younger in WWE, but she's only cemented it since. Her 2025 year might be the greatest Bell to Bell year by an American womens wrestler and we're not even into the fall yet. All those classics she had in WWE, the match in Brooklyn with Bayley being the Magnum Opus. Her title matches with Charlotte Flair, outstanding matchups with Becky and Asuka, WM37 with Bianca, and so many more. Then she finally had enough and bet on her name outside of WWE and she has delivered every single time the bell ring ( All In 2024 was more of a Britt issue ). Her NJPW debut vs Kairi, the 3 way at Sakura Genesis with AZM and Hazuki, the Stardom match with Mayu, Her matches with Vaquer in NJPW and AEW, Her AEW In ring debut at Double or Nothing with Willow ( best match on that show btw ), so many hidden tv gems with Aminata and Hikaru Shida, the NJPW match with Momo. Then she begins the run that truly solidifies her on top starting with the first Statlander match at Full Gear 2024, the Hazuki match at SSE which is one of the greatest womens matches ever on NA soil, the Worlds End rematch with Statlander, then gets a really good damn match out of Anny Jay of all people. But 2025 she kicks it even further with her matches with Mina, getting good matches out of Indi Hartwell, Harley Cameron, Julia Hart, and indie talent like Diana Strong. Her RevPro stuff with Kanji and Safire Reed was excellent, her CMLL stuff with Lacatalina, not to mention her AEW stuff with Momo, Jamie Hayter, Toni Storm at All In... She might not be YOUR personal favorite, but you can say there is a greater NA womens wrestler all time then Mercedes Mone. At this point your dodging facts

9016.07.2025wallflowerperry10.0Mercedes Moné is the best in-ring women's wrestler of all time from North America. She has a unique ability to adapt to a variety of styles, no matter who her opponent is. She's also a true student of the game--consistently training, constantly working to improve--and that's what sets her apart from her peers. She excels at storytelling in the ring, whether it's through her facial expressions, her focused limb work and targeting of injuries, or her impeccable timing with near-falls. She has truly mastered the art of ring psychology. Many feel threatened by her drive to be her own boss--her own CEO, her own person--and project their insecurities onto her. However, it should be acknowledged that she made women's wrestling global after leaving a major company, helping raise awareness for various promotions and female wrestlers around the world. She's accomplished so much in her young career, and she will undoubtedly continue to do so.

Poor promo as well. Obvious she rides a ton on her "four horsewomen" designation, and granted she had better presence in WWE. But her AEW and belt collector run have been blatant self-mark wank and an annoying burial of the women's division. She clearly see's herself as a GOAT, and some fans think so, but not me.

10027.06.2025Rassle Fan9.0The revisionism is currently underway. She hasn't lost anything and isn't performing badly or underperforming. She's as good as she ever was. There's lingering disappointment in her decision to not return to WWE and fans of any form of entertainment take those things very personally. I do agree that her promos are underwhelming at times but not enough to take away her superstar aura. I still consider her one of the best in ring at present.
