| 3 | 06.10.2026 | LuchaYMas | 10.0 | Having only seen his work in WWE/AAA, I had to go back to several 10/10 lucha underground matches to see Fenix at his prime. He's still there, but not being given the same top storylines. Him feuding with mini-vikingo is a step down, but he proves he can work with anyone. Some of the best moves in lucha, with one of the best (if not the best) finisher. He's gotten flack for being a bit of a drama queen in AEW, but holy shit his tag matches with Penta against the Young Bucks are the best tag matches I've ever seen. Besides Psycho Clown, Fenix deserves to be the face of AAA. |

Both a tag team specialist and an amazing singles wrestler. The most versatile wrestler and the best and most consistent performer of AEW since its inception. Fenix continues to impress and deliver every single time in the ring. His run in WWE has been mixed, his work in AAA is great but his main roster run leaves much more to be desired. I hope that WWE sees his potential in the main roster, this guy is the whole package. |

But here that's just not the case. Rey Fenix is a very very good competitor. He has done so many great matches. And he's been on this run for multiple years. This is truly impressive. |
| 20 | 06.09.2026 | tyrantseller | 10.0 | An unfortunate case for him due to his booking being horrendous by WWE (and he burnt bridges from going back to AEW) but regardless of his situation he is pretty good. EDIT: it has been a couple of months since making this post, WWE actually gave this guy a chance and hes been in one hell of a run since then. |

Dragon Lee gets more shine than him. You may say that it's erroneous to dock him because of his booking, but the timehe has been given hasn't seen him get particularly over, so i gotta go for the good not great grade. Sorry Fenix. |

I don't know what happened to him because for someone in his mid 30s to have this massive dip in performances is a bit odd but I will be here hoping for a resurgence |
| 49 | 02.05.2026 | SmartForceOne | 9.0 | Revising my rating down from 10 (? ) to 9. Rey Fenix is an amazing luchadore who is capable of incredible feats of athleticism and body control. He's had some really good matches, especially tag team matches. I loved his run in Lucha Underground and with the Lucha Bros in AEW. He did make a poor career move in joining the company that doesn't care as much about in-ring wrestling, leaving him as a "faceless" (heh) luchadore with nothing that makes him stand out. But put him in the right context and I think Fenix could still prove he is a top tier wrestler. |

| 54 | 23.03.2026 | AJ Styles was better than your favorite | 9.0 | He's the better in ring worker of the lucha brothers, but man him going to WWE was such a mistake, in my opinion. I obviously understand why he may want to be there as his brother is doing amazing right now, but for him? He's being booked like he's any other luchador, which is absoloutely absurd. His booking during his final year in AEW wasn't good either, but WWE isn't always the solution. At the height of his career he looked like one of the best on the planet. As much as I love him, I haven't seen that in WWE, but it's very hard to blame him. Getting put in the MFT vortex has never benefited one person. |
| 55 | 03.03.2026 | spicyjuniormint | 5.0 | Man, this guy messed up so bad by going to WWE. Talk about a fall from grace, at one point it felt like Rey Fenix was destined to become the next Rey Mysterio, a lunchador that gained massive world championship level success in the USA. The Lucha Bros. in AEW were amazing, between them FTR and the Young Bucks the AEW tag team scene was the best maybe of all time. But then himself and Penta left for WWE, and they have done absolutely nothing of significance since. You are seriously telling me that in a company with barely any tag teams of note outside of the Usos and New Day, WWE cant find a way to give the Lucha Bros a tag title reign? Absolutely pathetic laziness from Triple H. Of course WWE split them up because they don't care about tag team wrestling and never have, but Rey isn't even getting a singles push, making the whole thing a waste of time. Somehow WWE hasn't given one of the best luchadors in the world anything of note to hang his hat on in the company. Since joining he's barely wrestled much and lost about as many matches as he's won. Rey is like most things in WWE these days, directionless. It's just sad because at one point Rey Fenix was Top 5 in the world, nobody could do what he could in the ring, as a singles star or in a tag team. But now he feels like a total afterthought. I understand he's had a lot of injuries and he might not be able to go to the same degree he used to, but they way he's been handled in WWE is really unforgivable. Then again, maybe he is just cashing out, can't say he didn't earn it. But now it's beyond clear Rey (and Penta) were signings strictly to keep them away from AEW, there was never a plan not a desire from Triple H or TKO to use their talents. Shameful. |

He hasn't even come close to mastering any other facet of the art form. His score on here is narrow minded in that it only accounts for how impressive his aerial abilities are. That's not enough for 9+. |

His work is okay, he has a tendency to no-sell offence which makes his opponents look shitty. He doesn't have a good look. Athletic skinny guy with tattoos, how many wrestlers are we describing there? As a tag team duo with Penta, he's good. Outside of that, he should try and find something to stand out more. |

Rey Fenix is to me the more athletic of the two in Lucha Brothers, his brother Penta is more of the charisma, the main face of the tag team, which makes it hard for Fenix to stand out as a singles star imo. Don't get me wrong he can bring the house down in singles matches, check his stuff against Osprey. He also has a bad habit of getting injured more often than Penta as well. Personally love Fenix in Lucha Bros and as a singles, he's athletic and can make for entertaining matches, just needs more promo work and charisma like his brother. |
