Together with Ariel, they pulled off a difficult thing, getting a pair of vampire characters over. Their presentation was great and he became one of my favourites at the time. Always hoped for better opportunities for them."

The Mordecai one was visually spectacular, the Undertaker feud thingy was looking soooo good. Now that I say the good stuff let's go for the bad stuff: he sucks in the ring, he is boring, not a single memorable match and he was always a waste of roster"

Plans changed then he became Kevin Thorn The Vampire ECW wrestler. Never really shined in the ring and I never saw his promo work. But he had Ariel as a manger at least"

This guy was supposed to be the anti Undertaker, but he looked out of shape and hardly looked dangerous enough to be bullying the mid carders, let alone main event talent. Kevin Thorn was another goofy gimmick, but his bad wrestling made it even worse. The guy seems capable of only wrestling a generic, basic powerhouse style, and he's not even THAT huge by wrestling standards. Slow and plodding in the ring, zero crowd connection as a heel, and devoid of any sort of mic skill that could at least take him up the card a bit. Just bad overall."

It didn't help that he was in WWE-ECW & being thrown in the New Breed, which was a group who had no shared qualities other than being fresh faces. You can't pair a vampire with a school teacher & expect it to work. He was not terrible in the ring, but bad timing & a goofy gimmick lead him to have a less than stellar career."

Scotty 2 Hotti, destroy Billy Kidman and Akio, Rey Mysterio, and Bob holly for the finish... He is a heavyweight but you give him 4 cruiserweights on 5 opponents... A shame on you WWE."

[10.0] "I've always loved Kevin Fertig and have been a huge fan of him since his first time on the WWE's main roster as Mordecai! I always loved his dark villainous characters he played and watching his in-ring work throughout my days as a teenager! I've always appreciated how much of a tough, hard hitting, badass he was in the ring! Even though people might think that his characters were just gimmicks, I still personally feel today that either Mordecai or Kevin Thorn could've been more than just gimmicks. I honestly feel that either the Mordecai character or the Kevin Thorn character could've ascended to the main event and could've been utilized in high level matches. But unfortunate lawsuit issues from an incident at a bar stopped the Mordecai character dead in its tracks when that character started off awesome and unfortunately WWE didn't give the Kevin Thorn character a real chance to possibly get over with everybody and to be taken serious as an up-and-coming guy who could've become a main event star too."
