[3.0] "Rick Santel was one of the wrestlers that worked on the ring crew on the first years of NWA TNA, mostly working as a member of the security team. Although he wrestled on a couple of ocassions. He was a part of the feud between the NWA tradition and Vince Russo's SEX. Mike Tenay presented him and Chris Vaughn as the future of the NWA, people who were learning from the ring crew to become wrestlers. Later in 2003 he was also a part of the feud between Don Callis and Erik Watts for the control of TNA. He had a match against the Red Shirt Security where they won after being squashed for almost all the match. After that he didn't do much more, just appearing as a security member on other ocassions. As far as I know, Santel continued wrestling on the indie circuit for some years."
