The Miz

[2.0] "The Miz had a couple of good years but for every good year he had, he had 5 bad years. He wrestles like he's afraid to get a bruise and it really reflects on tv. While his promo work is good at times, I've always found him as a charisma vacum. They wasted a bunch of 2025 by having Carmelo with him and it's genuinely sad since he should have been doing A LOT more than that. I don't see much left for the Miz in his career anyways."

[4.0] "The Miz is one of the biggest instances of a channel changer for me. The second that Miz TV segment comes out, I'm watching something else. I think he speaks well and clearly on the mic but I can't say I've ever felt any actual emotion from a Miz promo. He's just so generic and that bleeds into his wrestling as well. The only time I can ever remember caring about a Miz match was the Ziggler feud in 2016."

[7.0] "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard enough. It's a motto Miz has modeled his character on to look back after it's all said & done and say: He deser...No he earned it"

[10.0] "The Miz is the total package in my opinion--incredible on the mic, solid in the ring, and carries himself like the star he is. Everything he does feels important. On top of that he's one of the most selfless superstars ever. Easy 10."

[4.0] "I greatly dislike The Miz, and the fact that this guy has been perceived as a face at any point in time is insane. His work rate has always been unimpressive, and is even below average for WWE standards. I don't think that he's ever elevated someone else and every important moment in his career has went nowhere, or went bad. His Mania match against Cena was unbelievably bad, and his shoot promo on Danielson went nowhere. I will give him credit for being a heel that I dislike because of his character/in ring actions, that has become increasingly harder to do as time marches on. In total, I think that his legacy will be protected by the WWE for his loyalty to the company, the way he is portrayed and revered by the company is not surprising due to said loyalty."

[0.0] "2 decades in the wrestling industry and I cannot recall a single Miz match I enjoyed because of his work. He's incredibly unathletic, has a very poor moveset, & was absolutely carried by the fact he is a good promo AT TIMES. He leeched off Johnny Nitro in their tag team stints, had horrible feuds with almost everyone he was given, had one of the worst modern-era wrestlemania main events ever, like it's genuinely amazing The Miz is held in such high regard among WWE fans. His best feud was against Dolph, who carried the entire thing. Baffles me onto why Vince loved him so much to make him a 2x grand slam champion, especially when a guy like Bryan Danielson couldn't be one. Now, in the twilight years of his career, he's done nothing of real note. Had a horrible tag-team reunion with Truth, turned heel again, and just makes a monthly appearance to plague the product even more. He has now completely stunted Carmelo's growth in a pointless tag team that is going nowhere. Miz is not important in kayfabe in the current WWE "lore", and he shouldn't of been important ever in his career. The most famous Miz ever got was for having a nervous breakdown in a worked shoot against Bryan, who is 1000000000000000000x the wrestler Miz is, which I think sums up Miz pretty perfectly."

[8.0] "Great in the ring and on the mic when needed to be. A reliable worker to build young talent up, has done and won it all. Could have been a bigger talent if used properly but alas! Definitely a HOF legend though."

[0.0] "A guy of marginal athleticism with awkward looking offense but a great finisher has managed to have a two decade career. I never like the tag team with John Morrison because their matches were shit. It was their little web show that got them over. It worked, good for them. All of his best matches, that you can count on one hand, were with guys who always have great matches. He's now more famous for having a nervous breakdown on Talking Smack than anything he's ever done. He's part of one of the worst main events in Wrestlemania history and two of the worst matches. The only reason I'm not giving him a 0 is because his finisher really is good and I know for a fact he's a good mentor for the WWE style behind the scenes."

[7.0] "A perfectly simple and solid star. His style may be safe but Miz is a very good promo and is always reliable."

[4.0] "Great on the mic, can be a good heel when booked right, same as a mid card champion, had a great tag team with John Morrison & R-Truth (in 2011, of course, the reunion SUCKED)... That's all the positives I can give you. He's a mediocre wrestler at best, despite he does his best to stay safe in the ring, which wouldn't be an issue if he could put together good matches without the need to be carried, he was an abysmal babyface (twice! ), should only be a mid card act and never become WWE Champion, and Miz TV is terrible. I need to know how we live in a timeline where this guy got the WWE Championship (TWICE! ) but guys like Mr. Perfect, Terry Funk, Roddy Piper, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, etc. never held it once."

[10.0] "The Miz is one of my favourite wrestlers ever and is one of the greatest examples of a WWE Superstar ever. A real showman who plays into the entertainment incredibly well, while also having great matches. His accolades speak for themself, he has earned every one of his title reigns in WWE. The first ever 2-time Grand Slam Champion, 8-time Intercontinental Champion, Wrestlemania Main Eventer... you name it, he's won it. An incredible promo who always delivers and can play a serious or comedic character, The Miz is one of the most reliable wrestlers in WWE, who has had an incredible career."

[5.0] "The Miz has had some good moments in his career, and I've never really disliked the guy. But he's just horribly overrated--everything about him is mediocre, and that's okay. However, his run for the Intercontinental title in 2016 and 2017 was truly superb, but there are too many lows in his career to rank him any higher."

[6.0] "He's a solid talker, but one of the most underwhelming wrestlers with one of the most punchable faces in the business. Having a favorite Miz match is like having a favorite episode of the news. They're all too bland, basic, uninteresting. When he's not a whiny, insufferable, cocky heel, he's an unconvincing, cocky babyface. Miz is exactly what you get when you're good enough at the job to never get fired but not good enough to ever be missed when you're gone."

[1.0] "Miz is a very bad wrestler in the ring. His presence in a match definitely doesn't guarantee good wrestling. He's been in the ring for many, many years, but his movements and moves have remained sloppy and unimpressive. His finisher looks terrible because it's hard to sell it to the opponent. Plus, he doesn't look like a wrestler at all -- he looks like anyone but a wrestler. At WM 27, he totally bombed the main event. His championship run is very weak. As an actor, he's also very poor -- his facial expressions are bad, and when he tries to play anger, he just glares and grits his teeth. Mostly, Miz portrays an annoying and irritating character. He doesn't destroy his opponents on the mic; instead, he contradicts himself. For example, with Cena, when he accuses him of starring in mid-level Hollywood movies, even though Miz himself is a C-list actor, appearing only in such low-budget films. The only good segment I remember from Miz is his tag team with Demon Mizdow. That's the only moment in his career I like to recall. He played a suitably annoying heel there. He would be perfect as a comedic low-carder, but not as a serious wrestler. That's why his world title reign will probably last at most a week."

[10.0] "the miz is a great utility talent who can be placed anywhere on the card when needed. he's also excellent at garnering heat, with amazing mic skills and great heel mannerisms. He's far from a masterclass wrestler, but he makes up for it by being consistent, safe, and reliable, and being very good at selling and willing to put others over. And its not like he cant put on a great match when he wants to. His fatal four way match at extreme rules 2016, IC title match at No Mercy 2016 with dolph ziggler, and his IC title match on Raw against Gunther, among others, have all been great. I have a lot of respect for the miz, and he is one of my personal favorite wrestlers."

[8.0] "You're never going to find him on a "Best of X or Y" list or compilation and you'll probably struggle to think of one singular match where The Miz set the world on fire. But the man consistently got heat and made chicken salad in one of the most anemic periods in pro wrestling history. One of the most acomplished Intercontinental Champions in the titles history and every time he got the belt it felt more important. Every company would kill for a Miz and It's why I reject the whole "coasting on one promo for a decade" narrative. He went though a torrid time at the beginning of his career and still endeavoured to elevate those around him when it would have been just as easy to pull rank like those before him and hog more of the glory for himself."

[4.0] "He cut one good promo on talking smack almost a decade ago and has had a half dozen good matches, and for some reason some people seem to think he's amazing. He isn't. A terrible WWE title run, an unmemorable second WWE title run, and a single good title reign (his 2016 IC title one) is all that is really of note from his career. He's a great brand ambassador and lower midcard heel, whether solo or in a tag team, but that's really it. He's broadly fine - the epitome of "Yeah I mean he's alright I guess.""

[7.0] "As I expect of pretty much every rating for Miz over a 6, this is more in honor of the man's dedication to the hustle rather than his abilities. He's good on the stick but he's not putting butts in seats. He's a good pair of hands in the ring but he's not Tenryu. He's a guy who started off as a scrawny loser from reality TV who flubbed his lines even with a cue card and ended up as one of WWE's longest tenured, most consistent hype men. Not an all-timer by any stretch but a guy you can't help but admire to some extent."

[5.0] "Miz is often described as one of the most underrated wrestlers in the world, however. Much of this dialogue about the miz being underrated comes from the dialogue surrounding one singular promo. Most times when someone mentions the Miz, they mention the promo he did on talking smack on Daniel Bryan, this promo is essentially the basis for the Miz agenda and why he's gotten so much praise since. He's an adequate worker but in terms of his rating on here he is absolutely overrated and it is very much due to that promo in particular. He's had good matches but those have been against wrestlers like Rollins and Danielson who are considered wrestlers who could get a good match out of anybody by the general public, if the talking smack promo had never happened, I have no doubt Miz would be rated around about a 5.5 on the site."

[7.0] "The Miz is one of the most consistent and reliable performers WWE has ever had. While he's never been the flashiest in the ring, his character work, promo skills, and ability to elevate others are top-tier. He's the kind of wrestler you can plug into any role--midcard, main event, tag team, host, or comedy--and he delivers every time. Might not be everyone's favorite, but his longevity, versatility, and dedication to the business speak volumes."

[8.0] "The Miz is the man who was always in my heart, I never hated him because he's a genius. His feuds and storylines was so interesting(my fav is with Dean Ambrose), he's not bad in the ring and he's a monster on the mic"

[4.0] "Well miz is just mid and that's the truth and maybe sometimes bad, he have something in him and showed it in multiple matches but it's a rare that he brings something in the ring and to us as a fans, I don't really care about his mic skills, the good wrestler should be good in a lot of stuff not just one thing! , I liked him match with Dolph in no mercy but man he should've been more than that I guess? Or maybe not idk, he liked what his doing and continues with it and I just think it's wrong especially if it is something that really boring and really bring something, his boring and his character is boring and he just love to stuck with it and it sucks."

[5.0] "The most average wrestler of all time. Absolutely nothing about him stands out, but there's also nothing he's just bad at. Mid at everything across the board. In ring, promos, look, character work etc etc. all just average. He has been wildly overpushed so I understand why some just hate him for that."

[6.0] "Great character work as a heel, not very good as a face. In ring he was awful but definitely improved through the years. They made a mistake giving him a title four years into his wrestling career, but he's rewarded them by being the consummate professional and staying loyal. Never had a match that stood out, but he held his own when matched up with the best such as Daniel Bryan"

[3.0] "In my opinion, he is just ... meh. I don't even think that his promos are as good as people say they are, and that is his only redeeming quality tbh. I honestly believe that people a lot of "smart fans" these days are such contrarians and try to justify The Miz in order to make people believe that they have a greater understanding of wrestling than them. His stuff with R truth was entertaining, other than that, his only memorable moment was his promo against Daniel Bryan, where he just shouted loudly ."

[4.0] "The Miz is a good entertainer for what WWE is looking for, but he shouldn't be seen much on television. His time has passed, and his limited repertoire is becoming increasingly evident. He's simply a waste of TV time. pst: The Miz has the honor of having the worst ME in WWE, WM 27."

[7.0] "One of the most underrated superstar of all times. He knows how to entertain a match like nobody else, even a random match in a live event. He gives the best of entertainment in everything that he does. In ringskilss may not be one of the bests, but it's rare to find a really bad match of him. He has the power to impulsionate everyone who is against on the ring. Had a lot of importance in the industry with good reigns, elevating titles like the intercontinental and helping new talents. This is rating is for all his career. No doubt is one of the most notable of the modern era. Like or Hate him, but you have to admit that The Miz it's a icon from this generation of Pro-Wrestling."

[8.0] "The Miz is somebody who is a "Jack of All Trades, Master of None", with the possible exception of cutting amazing heel promos. He is solid in ring, not a superhuman athlete or anything but is absolutely a decent enough worker. His safety cannot be understated, he has only been injured a handful of times over the past decade. In the current day and age he is always happy to put over younger talent too. In my opinion, Miz is one of the greatest heel wrestlers of the 2000s."

[2.0] "Believe it or not, had I made this years ago, Miz would probably get a zero, but hes risen up a bit since then. First off let's talk about promo skills, everybody talks about how good his promos were, yet I always found him cringey and annoying. Whenever he would talk I would turn the channel, litteral go away heat. Once in a great while he would have a solid promo but that's it. His in ring work has always been sloppy and boring, I can't recall any "Good" matches hes had, merely passable ones in which he was always carried to by way more capable in ring workers. I can count on one hand the amount of memorable moments he had throughout his entire career that were something close to being good which is pretty sad. His run as world champion was one of the darkest times for me being a fan. In recent years hes gone from having go away heat to me feeling complete apathy for him."

[6.0] "I'm very on and off with Miz, but I can't say that he's terrible because that would be a lie. His mic work is awesome and he can make a great rivalry a lot of the times. His in-ring work can be good, but sometimes it's just okay, and sometimes it can be pretty bad. My main problem with Miz is that sometimes he is cool and badass but some other times, he's just super annoying and it can be painful to watch him, especially when he cuts the cringe promos he does now. Overall he is a good aspect that WWE has but can be an absolute nightmare to watch sometimes."

[5.0] "His mic work is great but his in ring work is just okay. I've only seen one really great much out of him and much of that can be attributed to Ziggler. Other than that every match I've seen is him being in an okay to fine match. To be fair to him, I also haven't ran across that many stinkers besides the one he and Cena had at Mania, even that had the problem of it being weirdly booked."

[7.0] "The most punchable face in WWE. He consistently delivers outstanding in-ring performances and shines on the mic. His passion for the wrestling business is evident, and I admire his dedication to uplifting the next generation of stars. Truly a legendary heel, he embodies the spirit of this incredible industry!"

[8.0] "Where do I begin with the Miz? One of the greatest talkers in wrestling not named John, Rock, or Punk. The Miz has always been a hard worker, just watch his promo about the 2006 Diva Search vs some of his promos now, massive improvement. And even though his moveset can sometimes feel limited, I've never come out of a Miz match like: "Wow that sucked, " his matches were always decent to good. He's always been a WWE Superstar, he is the definition of a WWE Superstar. And finally not to sound like the Miz here, but his resume is pretty great: 2-time WWE champion, 8-time IC, 2-time US, 11-time tag champion, and a Mr. Money In The Bank (I wouldn't include 2020.) He's always been trusted as a reliable worker in WWE, so I'll give him a suitable rating to complement that."

[10.0] "Mike was the first wrestler I fell into love with growing up, I remember watching him around 2009 and just clicking with him, I was so happy when he won Money in the Bank 2010 and then when he cashed in on Orton, best night of my life. I consider him a realiable source, you can use him as a lower midcarder and 2 months later you can make him your champion, I'm just wishing that he can surpass Jericho's IC title reign record, hopefully this year, it shouldn't be a long reign either, give it to him for a month or two and then just give it to Gable, idk."

[6.0] "He's fine. The most fitting thing I can think to say about him is that he's the perfect image of a "WWE Superstar". Inoffensive but still competent and fundamental wrestling ability, pretty good promo ability & a decent babyface and pretty natural heel. I've never seen a Miz match that's stuck with me (especially in the last few years of his career) and every now and again he'll cut a promo that leaves me thinking "That was alright." He's just... alright."

[5.0] "What can there be said about The Miz? Well, not much, really. He might be one of the most middle of the road wrestlers of all time. He is average in the ring, average on the microphone, average as a character. What more can you say about a guy that's had the exact same characters for almost two decades? If you made a wrestler that's okay at everything and great at nothing you end up with The Miz."

[10.0] "When I first got into watching wrestling (around the Royal Rumble last year), I hated The Miz and thought he was an overrated hack. As I saw more of his matches, I begrudgingly admitted that he had some talent but wasn't anything great. After nearly two years of being a fan, I must admit that he was a legitimately talented wrestler and a great character."

[5.0] "Being blunt, his in-ring performance is mediocre at best. I've never been excited to see a match that involves him. As for his skills outside the ring, they are very hit or miss (no pun intended). He can dish out very emotional promos, much like the Talking Smack one. But most of the time he lacks that spark and his promos are bland and forgettable."

[5.0] "Though I can say with confidence that his work with Karrion Kross and Gunther in the past year have been undeniably good, I can say with even more confidence that I have never been his biggest fan. He is not all that special when it comes to in ring work whatsoever, and his promo ability has been inconsistent to say the least; it has sometimes been excellent, but other times he is a complete hack. He was also never world title material, as many would try to claim due to his great work with the IC belt back in the mid-2010s. That is the highest he shouldve been, but there is no denying his longevity and safety when it comes to working."

[7.0] "Whilst i do think people overate miz in terms of his mic skills and how good he is as a heel i feel like every company needs a miz and by that i mean just a guy who you can fit on every position on the card and a a safe and reliable worker - definetly prefer miz in mult man matches rather than singles matches tho but still a decent worker when required"

[3.0] "This dude stinks. Theres a reason WWE have kept him around as long as they have, hes perfected their style of wrestling, competent in the ring but not good. His promos are also very bad, just buzzwords or repeating the same promo beats over and over. Just a very annoying wrestler that makes you groan everytime you have to watch, besides like a couple months in 2016 which people cling onto to pretend like hes better than he is. Giving this dude a 10 is a joke, even 7 is pretty generous. If you think this dude is the cream of the crop, please watch more wrestling."

[3.0] "Bad wrestler in the ring. His only quality that is ever spoken of highly is vastly overrated, sure he never stutters or anything like that but his promos are still bland and repetitive nonsense about how he's underrated and has worked hard for 20 years. Ask anyone what promo of his is good and it's the same 8 year old Talking Smack promo that was scripted although people pretend it wasn't. In that promo itself he does the same repeated talking points I previously mentioned. He never says anything of substance. If you want people who can do The Miz better than Mike Mizanin you can look at Ethan Page or Grayson Waller, even Dominik Mysterio kind of plays his character type as well. On top of that, his wrestling is boring and atrocious. Miz will literally tell you himself that he wrestles an extremely cautious and safe style, this makes for uninteresting, boring, repetitive, just flat out bad matches. The fact that he got to win any title and be considered credible is a fault on the booking, the fact that he has a Wrestlemania main event against John Cena is insulting to wrestling. One of my funniest ideas is to imagine Miz in a match with Katsuyori Shibata or Minoru Suzuki, if you know who they are, the idea of those matches should bring a tear to your eye from hilarity. Overall, Miz brings very little to the table, he isn't bad at talking but his promos are repetitive, his wrestling ability is non-existent even after 20 years, and the fact that he's constantly said by many fans as well as other wrestlers as not only an underrated wrestler but as one of the greatest all time tells me that he is actually OVERRATED despite how many people are souring on him currently."

[8.0] "Safe, reliable and dedicated worker who doesn't complain of his position which usually requires to be a whipping boy. The history knows a big deal of worse guys and women decided to burn bridges leading to WWE, but they haven't been as good as they were previously. The Miz just does everything well and, probably, enjoys it"

[5.0] "I think The Miz has done incredibly well for himself all things considered. He came into the business at the right time, circumstances that happened throughout wrestling eventually paved a way for him to slowly creep up to being considered a "main event" wrestler for WWE during one of their worst eras. If it wasn't for the fact he was better than decent on the mic, then I don't think WWE would've given him a chance. Again, it all comes back to the era he was in... 99.99% of that roster couldn't cut a promo if they tried, the only people who could were Cena, Jericho, Edge and CM Punk. Miz happens to be younger than 3 of those wrestler and more "clean cut" than CM Punk, so obviously it made sense to push him. In-ring, he's just not interesting at all. I'm not trying to be funny when I say this, but you could literally fall asleep when you watch a match of his. He just isn't very exciting and doesn't offer anything in other fields, i.e technical wrestling, high flying, etc., he's just... a guy, who can talk. WWE really tried to push him as a face a few times, but it failed because Miz is very easy to dislike. Overall, he just happened to be in the WWE at the right time. Still can't believe he main evented a WrestleMania... put him on the mic and he'll do great. Put him in the right and he'll stink the joint out. That's The Miz summed up."

[6.0] "I've never been the biggest fan of the Miz but I will say in the context of longevity and success within the WWE, it's hard to deny him credit where credit is due. I remember when he debuted in 2005 following the Tough Enough gig and he really broke out to me during his first WWE title run even though he played third wheel in the John Cena and Rock feud. Throughout his career, he's shown to be a reliable competitor and a solid hand who can hold down the midcard division as well as compete in the tag team division as well. He's an 8 time IC champion, 2 time United States Champion and a multiple time tag team champion working with a variety of guys ranging from Big Show, John Morrison, R-truth to Shane McMahon and Damien Sandow. That kind of success comes with reliability and consistency, 2 traits you can gladly award to Miz."

[8.0] "The Miz is the most reliable wrestler of all time. Can you expect him to make something incredible? Not really. Can you ask him to hold mid-card title or carry a feud? Absolutely. Although he's not incredible in the ring, he definitely can put on a decent match and he is massively underrated on the mic. He'll go down in the wrestling history books for that one time he gave an 11/10 promo and for always getting what needs to be done, done."

[2.0] "incredibly overrated. his best matches have all been carry jobs, he is mid at best in the ring, his promos are all the same, and the fact that he has been constantly pushed through his 20 year career is insane. there has been no development in his career, he's been nothing but the same character, which isn't a problem in itself. a huge number wrestlers have had the same gimmick and have had it work, the problem with the miz is that his gimmick is incredibly bland. a classic example of the whole "screaming loud doesn't make a good promo" deal"

[10.0] "I can't understand the hate on Miz, seriously. The brother withstood his first months as a wrestler being bullied, still managing to show a smile and swagger every time he went to the ring. He never wanted to give up on his dream, earning his way to the top being a fantastic personality and humbly showing respect to everyone to be a pillar inside the company. He managed to pull through a Wrestlemania main event with a concussion and still able to perform with Cena and Rock in the same ring! Every stage of Miz's career was in fact awesome, the reality star, the chick magnet, the awesome one, the Hollywood star, the Anti-Cena and even daddy Miz in the Wyatt feud. Miz is a great wrestler for sports entertainment, something that many cannot understand, and that is unfortunately why fans forget how wrestling is fun, because there are people like Miz in it."
