[10.0] "To me Masato Yoshino is easily deserving of a 10, I think more than almost anyone else he is the wrestler I am most excited to show people who've never seen him, he is able to truly defy physics in there and he's put together some of the most impressive sequences I've ever seen. In my eyes Amigo Tag/Jimmyz match is a serious contender for the best tag team match of all time, and he has one of the highest floors in terms of match quality that I'm aware of."

"Masato Yoshino was one of the fastest and most technically skilled wrestlers of his generation, gaining fame in T2P and Toryumon as the longtime #2 of the Italian Connection. His rivalry and eventual partnership with K-ness led to many classic matches and a brief run as a Brave Gate contender. However, tensions with Final M2K led to his defection to Blood Generation, where he shed his YOSSINO persona, adopting a more serious and aggressive style. His incredible conditioning and evolving in-ring ability helped him transition from a mid-card player to a legitimate top star in Dragon Gate. By 2006, Yoshino had established himself as one of the company's premier competitors, known for his breathtaking speed, high-impact offense, and ability to deliver consistently great matches."

Yoshino went on to form one of the greatest teams in the promotion lovingly coined as Speed-Muscle or DoiYoshi with his on again off again frenemy Naruki Doi. Whether his lightning speed, innovative moves like the Lighting Spiral or Slingblade (that is now overdone by everyone! ) Yoshino had a speed and humbleness that went unmatched. Working well in the heel stables of Blood Generation, Muscle Outlawz or as a babyface in World-1, Monster Express or the supergroup MaxiMuM, Yoshino was a vital part of Dragon Gate and is sorely missed. I don't recall seeing a poor match when he was involved and his work in ROH or TNA showed American audiences how good the Speed Star was. As a rookie under CIMA's wing, he's now the Commisioner of GLEAT back working along with CIMA and fellow former Dragon Gate stars Kaito Ishida, T-Hawk, KAZMA Sakamoto, El Lindaman and Oji Shiiba to name a few."

No matter what match he was in or what storyline he was in, Yoshino always seemed to give his all and was a constant rock of Dragon Gate right up until his retirement. I honestly can't think of a single match of his I dislike, and very few I can even think of that are even average. He was the epitome of Dragon Gate."
