Marko Stunt

[0.0] "He shouldn't even be considered a wrestler. His mere presence in the ring is a real insult to those watching the shows, and it has nothing to do with his height. No one would believe someone who looks like a child could wrestle anyone. If he could move like a mini-estrella, he might be watchable, but unfortunately, he lacks that kind of athleticism. The fact that he even entered the ring is a real shame for wrestling."

[8.0] "I believe his career is over for health reasons, but this dude was impressive. He was all of 5 feet but put on believable matches. He was also a really good dude outside of the ring. A lot of the comments are along the lines of "I dont get why he's so highly rated" and that talk seems to have unnecessarily knocked him down lower than he should be. He also gave us a hilarious still of Maria Manic (whatever happened to her? ) towering over him"

[6.0] "I watched this guy at the beginnings of AEW as i mainly followed Jurrasic express, and the ring work that i saw from his was pretty alright to watch, elevated by the fact he was unique in is height. Although, i found his later lack of use in the Jurrasic Express + Christian storyline when i came back after falling off around 2020-2021 to be rather jarring. I even looked back at the time, but i saw nothing of him being kicked out the group, or even use after the group broke off. It was rather disappointing to say the least, but outside of that bump in his career i'd say he's a solid wrestler who can at least get people interested and put on a solid match."

[10.0] "Look. I get it, "he's short! ' "he is short so he shouldn't be a pro wrestler! " Just cut him some DAMN SLACK. AT LEAST HE IS TRYING. HEIGHT IS NOT EVERYTHING. He can wrestle when given the opportunity, and he Is quite favorable when thinking of being a Pro Wrestler but short in height. He is Inspiring. And he is a Amazing person since me and my brother met him in public. He was very kind enough to chat for a bit. So to those of you making extra excuses to just rate him low because of his height and size. Please just Shut Up. Edit: 10.0 This man deserves to watch after his health. He is a great influence that you can be a pro wrestler even with shortcomings. (Pun not intended, I'm sorry.)"

[5.0] "An overall solid wrestler that made the best of his circumstance. I'm hearing now that he retired because of how he lived his gimmick: short. He can at least get the job done in terms of tag team helping people get over for sure. One of those wrestlers with their limited abilities to gain some sort of underdog type of feel. I wish him the best and his endeavors, since I am glad he's looking after his health. Nothing but respect and love for him."

[3.0] "I don't see the hype in Marko at all. He's had like one or two good matches but other than that he just seems to be a guy who is put in a lot of squash matches, I mean he's good at getting tossed around by bigger dudes but that's about it."

[4.0] "I've never understood the crazy fan base behind him. Like I get he had some nice matches with Joey Janela but he hasn't done much other then get squashed on dark (or more recently Collison)"

"Marko Stunt is one of those wrestlers that causes me to reach for the controls to fast forward past the match. Whoever he's wrestling usually sells his moves more than he sells theirs which, with his unmuscular 5'2" frame, is unforgivable. No thanks."

[8.0] "Marko should have a long career in the business, because he plays his role so well. Being able to be thrown around the way that someone like him or darby can is a special talent in its own. He is at least in my eyes, the perfect, ideal jobber, someone that can get thrown around and make their opponent look like a million bucks."

[4.0] "I think he could have a specific role in wrestling, like he did in the trio of Jurassic Express. He's fantastic at getting hurled around and making big dudes look like monsters, but also a bit of that underdog charm. Given there's a literal trios division now, he would have more of a place. Saying that, my only actual interest in seeing him again would be as storyline fuel for other wrestlers like Perry and Luchasauras."

"I genuinely feel bad for the kid. He seems like a decent enough human being who nobody ever took the time to straighten him up in the wrestling world. Majority of his peers said "keep doing what you're doing" which directly set him up for failure."

[6.0] "Marko Stunt was always a solid wrestler who good deliver a good match. He was typically used in tag matches as a weapon for larger wrestlers. The issue has been he is too small in size and stature to be taken seriously by most folks, and as a result, everyone treated him as an afterthought, ignoring what he brought to matches and declaring him a waste of space. Even the positive reviews are demeaning, where folks give him complements, call him "inspiring" and then give him a bad review because of his height."

[3.0] "I was ok with his size to an extent, just like I was with Riho. But Riho was a serious underdog who fought against the odds, whereas Marko was almost always used as comedy spots because of his size. His obnoxious personality and grade school dancing also really turned me off. Good on him for making it to a major promotion, but he's much more suited to the indys."

[4.0] "A spot magnet in wrestling. He's got to be one of the gimmickiest wrestlers ever. He looks like a young child."

[1.0] "Stunt's goofy, and difficult to take seriously half the time. He'd be a decent manager as he has a bouncy personality, though ultimately doesn't cut it out in the ring."

[4.0] "As others have said, Marko was good in the first year or so of AEW, being the comedically small member of Jurassic Express who could bump big time for the heels and then use his immense speed to get a few good shots back before tagging out. It was also entertaining at times seeing him get used as a projectile or weapon by his partners, further emphasising how small he was. It's therefore good that Marko wasn't actually ever treated as a serious threat to anyone credible, more shown as relying on luck, assistance from his team, and attrition in order to get any meaningful offence in. Despite that, his offence really is quite bad when considering he's sharing the ring with, and therefore assumed to be on some equal level with, the likes of Jungle Boy, Omega, Fenix, etc. His very small size and absolute lack of any muscle makes him perfect for being a comedy wrestler because of how impossible it is to take him seriously as an actual wrestler, but it just doesn't feel believable seeing him in a major wrestling promotion, even if he's treated appropriately as little more than a nuisance. A serious wrestling promotion shouldn't use gimmick wrestlers like Marko if they want to be taken seriously. This being said, I have to give all the credit in the world to Marko for still being able to actually say he made it as a wrestler not just in spite of, but actually *because* of his physical limitations. He may not be for me, but it's genuinely inspiring to think that if someone like Marko can become a professional wrestler, and a wrestler that's part of a major wrestling promotion, then basically anyone with a functioning body can become a professional wrestler."

[5.0] "This guy used to be fun during the start of AEW , he serves his purpose in trios matches where he is the one getting rag dolled by the bigger guys and then surprises them using his speed and agility but the main problem his that his offense is not at all believable. It just does not feel impactful at all. The guy can sell marvelously but he just does not do much for me and in my opinion Jurassic express would do way better without him . I admire his passion and all but he just does not work for me. Edit: He does work well with the smaller guys, his math with Starboy Charlie at GCW was very good and was able to display his true talent that might be foreshadowed due to the size difference of him and his opponents that forces him to work according to the David vs Goliath format each and every time which eventually makes his matches mundane and monotonous. The stature and size is still a disadvantage but he is not as bad as the ratings suggest. Bumping my rating from a 2 to a 5."

[4.0] "I'll give the devil his due, he can definitely wrestle, he's just in the wrong division. He should be exclusively wrestling comedy matches or maybe just matches with other small guys, because no one will every take him seriously. Seems like a cool guy, but he's just in the wrong place in AEW. Respect for trying but he needs to give it up and stop trying to wrestle bigger guys."

[4.0] "He is actually good in the ring, but obviously, the thing that stands out is his size. I'm completely fine with smaller wrestlers and I don't understand when people don't like guys that are average height but being well below average height just doesn't work at all."

[7.0] "Marko has the talent to consistently put on a fun match. He is also aware of his size and wrestles in a way that reflects it. He goes through these extra steps to do offense that is simple for larger wrestlers. Really adds a unique flavor to his wrestling. Also still really young with plenty of room for improvement. It is just unfortunate he has to deal with detractors who act like the fact he is naturally small makes him a bad wrestler"

[3.0] "I have a ton of respect for Marko Stunt for going out there and giving it his all, but I'm simply not into him as a wrestler."

[4.0] "Marko is a solid high flyer who can put on a respectable match. And I hate to say it, I really do, but he's just too small to be a credible threat to the majority of wrestlers I've seen him put against. In every match he's in, the story is that "Marko Stunt is very small". I'm also not a fan of him acting like a cartoon character every time he steps in the ring. But all that aside, his in-ring skills aren't out of place in AEW."

[2.0] "I don't follow Marko Stunt since the very beginning, so I don't have a complete background of his career. Actually, the first time I saw him was the moment he came to AEW and since then I have only a one opinion about him - annoying. As much as I can admire his in-ring skills, he lacks the basic attributes for a professional wrestler. He doesn't look like an athlete - more like a child or somebody who is struggling with an illness. It's weird to see bigger guys selling for him. There are many different roles he would fit more than being a wrestler."

[6.0] "He is a very small dude who gets beat up and takes a lot of gnarly bumps and flips around sometimes. What's not to like?"

[2.0] "A completely unrealistic worker due to his size. A decent bumper but that is his ONLY redeeming quality. He's essentially dead weight on Jurassic Express, which is ironic since he weighs a few feathers."

[6.0] "I think there is a big difference in criticism and just straight up cyberbullying here. Is he the worst that I have seen? Not at all. Is he still green? Yes, this guy has only been wrestling for 5-6 years, this dude is not perfect. And I get that some people will rag on his size, but that is simply something he cannot change, period. I think that he fares decently in the ring, and although yes, his character is polarizing, as long as he is successful at getting over with the public audience, then he is on a steady foot. Speaking of character, I also think he does have the potential to experiment with it once his time with Jurassic Express is said and done. Look at "River Of Reincarnation" from Sammy's Vlogs, and you can tell that he can deliver a decent performance outside of what he is currently working with. I don't think he'll hit the top of the card for a while, but he has the potential to play around with his character in an innovative matter that could create something engaging. Not an 8-10, but definitely not a lost cause."

[2.0] "Man, nothing personal against the guy but I just can't stand him in the ring. Just kills every match he's involved in, dragging down everyone. I really don't mind having to suspend my disbelief for modern wrestling, but Marko's a bit too much."

[4.0] "0-1 ratings are completely unfair. I get it, Marko is small and absolutely not credible. He has some botches and surreal movements. In the other hand, he is cheered by the public and has a decent charisma. He also eats the pins in Jurassic Express to protect Jungle Boy's and Luchasaurus credibilities. Marko has a decent mic and a decent charisma, in-ring he is below average. Putting him a 0 is an offense as if Marko was worthless."

[0.0] "I sitting here trying to think of something positive about Marko, but honestly, nothing is coming to me. He's bad in the ring & pretty much only does flying head scissors, which is a move even the most inept wrestlers do on a regular basis. Not only does he suck, but what's worse; he brings others down as well. I honestly think Jarassic Express would be in a better place right now if Marko was not aligned with them."

[1.0] "Very poor worker. He'd work better as a heel manager, as he's only effective at being irritating and bumping. Beyond that, he has no use inside the ring, with it not being his lack of size, but rather his lack of ability"

[0.0] "For me, if we don? t include unsafe workers, Stunt is the worst wrestler in the world today. He? s a non package, he doesn? t has nothing, like literally nothing that actually good. He has no character, his wrestling skills are horrendous, he can? t talk on the microphone, he looks like a child and doesn? t even try to look legit in any way. Like for example, Saya Iida from Stardom is really small but at least she goes to the gym and her move set is believable. Stunt needs to retire if he isn? t gonna change in my opinion."

[5.0] "He sort of has charisma but then he starts to irritate you. His size makes a lot of things he does in the ring look unrealistic. Looks like he is always being carried."

[0.0] "Marko Stunt is a fail in every single category when it comes to being a professional wrestler so much so I feel embarrassed calling him one. Originally I didn't want to criticize the guy too much for living his dream but after seeing the spot he did in his "match" with Effy at GCW I no longer care about hurting his feelings. So I will concisely list all the problems that this idiot has: 1) cant wrestle 2) not only extremely short but also has a shitty physique; he looks like a child and any offense and/or kickout by him is unbelievable 3) he is not athletic enough to justify his presence in the ring considering how bigger wrestlers appear to be more athletic than him IN SUMMARY Marko Stunt is SHIT"

[2.0] "Absolutely hate when he's on my TV screen. He looks like a little kid that keeps wondering around in the ring after getting lost from his parents. I don't even think he'd be on the AEW roster if it weren't for the Jurassic Express stable. His best quality is being able to take a severe beating, which I love seeing, but he serves no purpose other than that. The 2. 0 rating is solely because the other wrestlers beat him up all the time."

[1.0] "Marko can sell well, but the entire act is a huge miss for me. He just isn't believable, and kills every segment that he's involved in. His involvement in the Jurassic Express has really dragged down the entire act, and seems superfluous."

[8.0] "It's pretty disgusting to see everybody saying that he is bad "because he is too small". He indeed is small, but he can work in the ring pretty good and it has nothing to do with his size, let alone to rate him with a 1 or a 0."

[1.0] "I can't rate him a zero, because at least he can perform some basics and he can sell pretty good (and for someone of his size, you'd better be able to sell). I don't really like the dynamic of putting him with the Jurassic Express, though when you've got Jungle Boy, who is more talented and charismatic in every way there to play Ricky Morton. It makes his job harder when you've got little Marko out there getting killed. I wouldn't ever use him as anything more than a jobber or comedy character. I think that's the only niche that can work for him."

[4.0] "Good as part of a tag team or stable. Can't really picture him outside one. His in-ring skills are ok."

[6.0] "He is fine for what he is, an inspiriration for young fans that size is not the only thing that counts in the world of wrestling. He is charismatic, a decent worker and in a great place as part of the Jurassic Express. As soon as that group splits up, the real test for Stunt will be whether he can develop something on his own."

[4.0] "adequate. is what is suggested for a 4 rating. marko has some high points athletic, comedy but he also has a limited moveset and even among smaller wrestlers appears small. his comedy to me personally grows stale quickly."

[7.0] "Marko is a comedy wrestler, it seems a lot of younger fans on a WWE diet don't know comedy wrestling exists and rate him zero. You are not supposed to take Marko seriously, he is there to bring funny, laugh out loud moments and he does that brilliantly. He will always be difficult to work with, but is more than able to put on a convincing performance in defeat. It does, however, take a lot of skill from his opponents to look good in beating him. Appreciate Marko for what he is and don't knock him for not meeting the requirements of a Vince McMahon wet dream sports entertainer."

[4.0] "His incredibly small size will always hold him back, but he's just not that exciting to watch for somebody so small either. He can take some neat bumps, but I don't see him being anything more than the Jurassic Express' dedicated whipping boy anytime soon. For what he is, he's alright. But him getting a clean win over anybody AEW actually cares about having any believability would destroy them."

[3.0] "He looks to be the type of guy that could be destroyed by Hornswoggle in a real fight. He is good at bumping, but that's the only thing going for him. No promos, no muscle mass, no height, no gimmick (besides ooh boi i'm smol lulz), no believable offense, nothing. If he manages to put at least some muscle, he can be a viable lowcard underdog. Til then, please AEW, don't give him any offense against actual wrestlers."

[3.0] "Can do a lot of funny flippy doos, but he's too small and his presence is too limp-wristed for me to be into him. I feel like he's a huge bane on Jurassic Express's future, especially when other people have to bump for him like he's the same size."

[5.0] "Not very interested in his matches, don't like him on the mic and hate the dances that he does. Overall though he can wrestle a decent amount and his GCW work is good. Hopefully he learns something being in a big time promotion now"

[5.0] "I just don't care for Marko Stunt that much. His small size makes him unique, but I think he is only average in the ring with an average look and average promo skills. I have seen him in some matches in GCW which were the only matches on their card I didn't care for. I did like his match on GCW Backyard Wrestling, but otherwise I don't think his matches in GCW or Beyond Wrestling have been great. He has made it despite his size, but hasn't done anything special or unique with his promos or move set. I'd actually say he is overrated. Hope he improves his in-ring skills, instead of just doing comedy stuff."

[8.0] "I think I first saw him in a Joey Janela/Beyond show in a "volunteer from the audience" segment, and since then I've been seeing his name in a lot of indie cards. He's probably the breakout star of 2018, and with a flashy offense, he needs a bit of polishing but his career can only go upwards from here on. Obviously enough, WWE has shown interest in him. While I'm not against his will if it is going there, I think his growth and name value will only grow if he stays in the indies."

[8.0] ""Mr Fun Size" is the name that really fit with this young man. I just knew him a couple month ago and he is blowout everywhere. There are not many wrestler that can perform in PWG but he did it. The crowd love him and he is really dynamic in the ring. But with his size, it's easy to play underdog character. I don't know if that is an advantage or disadvantage but I really enjoy his match for now."

[7.0] "When I first saw one of Marko's matches, it was in the Prince Of The Death tournament in IWA-MS earlier this year and, while he had an awesome match and left a great impression on me, I could have never anticipated how he'd blow up out of nowhere just a few months later. The little guy is insane and seems very prepared for the spotlight to be on him. I hope he continues to improve and he's a presence for years to come."
