His TNT Championship run and leadership of the Dark Order showed his range as a performer and charisma as a character. Taken way too soon, but left a lasting impact on the business and those who knew him and got to see him perform"

During his time in WWE I always wanted more from him, to see him fight more, to see him shine more... at wrestlemania 33 I was excited to see him champion and unfortunately they only put him in a battle royal in the pre-show. Thanks to AEW we were able to see all his potential, and the last 8 months of Mr. Brodie Lee's life were a total delight; destructive, enigmatic and quite competent on the microphone. His fights against Jon Moxley and Cody Rhodes are some of the most memorable moments in AEW and also a great merit was elevating 7 jobbers and giving them personalities (which unfortunately the company did not know how to take advantage of after his death). A tragedy even sadder than the death of Eddie Guerrero... Luke Harper left us too soon..."

If he was not in wyatt family, wyatt family would not get that praise. He deserved more than what he got when he was alive. Really underrated wrstler. His passing was so sad and I couldn't stop crying. My childhood hero. Miss you."

A giant who was built like a freight train and could move like a cruiserweight (the 1st wrestlers to blend that style to come to mind). Made the best out of any opportunity in either WWE apart of the Wyatt Family being a personal favorite of mines simply based of his stature & off-putting trucker vibe or in AEW as The Exalted One elevating an entire faction behind him & a solid run. Also, has THE BEST Discus Lariat & Big Boot in the business! A legend and underrated star that'll be remembered in history!"

It's such a shame we never got that longer run for him in AEW and with The Dark Order and all we have is the "What If's" when it comes to him, but at least we had what we had and we can look back on that with a smile and appreciate him for what he gave us."

In AEW he was able to break through those barriers and had an incredible run that was cut all too short. Charismatic, funny, gifted, kind, spectacular, and gone too soon. The wrestling world is a darker place without him. Miss him every day."

The guy could go, given his size you would've thought he'd be kind of generic, but man he was anything but. WWE never gave him a chance, whilst they did kind of let him go into his own post Wyatt Family, they just never put their all into him. Having heard what Erick Rowan said about Vince not liking Brodie's accent... just goes to show they were never able to really look past that. To me, Brodie was so damn good on the mic, his accent didn't matter at all, it suited him and, in my eyes, shouldn't have even been a discussion. He wrestled like an absolute mad man, his gimmick as Luke Harper was so damn good. I never really got to see him as Brodie Lee, aside from a few little segments and the Cody match, but I liked what I saw. So sad to see a HUGE talent like Brodie Lee taken away from us so early. Had so much left to offer, was only just starting to scratch the surface as to what he's capable of doing whilst he was in AEW. Will be remembered very fondly by fans, and screw Vince for holding his accent against him. Would've been a world champion had it not been for Vince not liking the way he sounded."

Great worker, always brought a welcome intensity to his performances, tried his best to make chicken salad out of chicken s*** no matter what creative was given to him. Was massively underrated during his time on the Indies, and criminally overlooked in WWE. His AEW run was superb, and his work was excellent up until his unfortunate passing. By all accounts from those who were lucky enough to get to know him, he was a great man, and was an even better father. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna find a Brodie/Harper Discus/Lariat compilation online, and remember a kind soul who was taken from us much too soon."

Sadly he never reached his true potential neither in wwe nor in aew but he left a decent enough body of work to be brought into the "best big man of his generation" convo. Certainly his passing messed up his Wyatt family companions and it's saddening that they haven't been able to pay him tribute by reaching the highest peaks of the wrestling world. WWE only fans might not rate him as high, but you can't blame the guy for not getting booked high on the card by VInce Mcmahon, it's just another case of legendary talent getting booked like shit by Vince. But even in WWE he was an essential part of the Wyatt Family and the best in ring worker out all of the former wyatts (I do not count Bryan Danielson's 2 weeks in the Wyatt Family) He was also a genuinely amazing human who went out of his way to help his coworkers and was beloved in the locker room. I almost never cry over celebrity deaths I'm not afraid to admit I was in tears when Brodie passed away. Rest in peace Brodie Lee."

His cage match against Claudio is up there with Bret vs Owen and his on/off tag team with Rowan was one of the few good things about WWE's tag division during the 2010s. His AEW run, while cut short by his tragic death, was one of the best runs of his career. He had a handful of great matches, cut a bunch of excellent promos, and legitimized the Dark Order and helped people like Silver and 10 develop into bigger stars. [8.0] "One of the brightest midcarders of modern WWE! He was fantastically agile for his size and at the same time very strong and technically professional. His image of a village villain in the Wyatt Family is probably his main segment in his career, because he became really famous and popular here, he held great matches in various lineups and with the best wrestlers of the USA and Europe. I really became a fan of Luke Harper when he had a great match with John Cena and his tough fight of his brothers in arms against the Shield in 2014. In general, their grouping deserves a separate mention, but it will be too long, I will rather evaluate their grouping in another category, now I will only say that this is a successful project that has given us dozens of interesting stories and hundreds of top-level matches. After the breakup of the family, Luke went on a solo voyage and at first achieved success becoming an Intercontinental Champion and this part of his career was also bright, he was remembered for his match against Dolph Ziggler on TLC and his participation at WrestleMania in a ladder match where he was very cool. Also, I want to remember his charismatic match against Dean Ambrose on Extreme Rules. In general, I found him all his career in WWE and I'm happy that he was there. You can write for a very long time, remembering the Bludgeon Brothers reunion and his close path to the WWE title when people really wanted to see him as a winner. As a result, things got worse in WWE and he left the company and went to conquer AEW where he became the leader of the Dark Order and this period of his life became a turning point, he was seen from the side of a cool leader who can be starring in the main events of the show. Unfortunately, his path ended there, he only felt the power and became a TNT champion as he abruptly left us. I will remember him as an absolutely loving man who gave his all to the great sport! Thank you Jonathan Huber!"

He could wrestle, he could speak, he had charisma, he was absolutely hilarious, etc. But his (awesome) abilities as a wrestler had nothing on his awesome abilities as Jon Huber. [10.0] "As a character, Brodie Lee/Luke Harper was magnetic. Something about him commanded attention. All wild hair and bulging eyes. His presence practically jumped off the screen. In the final years of his life he was able to show his range, going from the silent and deranged hillbilly Luke Harper to the terrifying and deadly, yet somehow hilarious "Exalted One", suit wearing and paper chucking CEO of The Dark Order. Jon played both of these roles with a level of commitment that made them feel real and forever memorable. As an in ring performer, he was one of the very first wave of the modern day big men. He didn't sluggishly trod around like the larger than life villains of old but instead attacked and flew with a speed and agility that belied his size. He could keep up, and in fact probably outwork, anyone he faced; but he usually selflessly made others look better than him instead. It's this talent that brought such a spark to the famous Wyatt Family 6 man tag matches in WWE, and truly all of his matches. As a human being, by all accounts, he dwarfed even his sizable accomplishments as a performer. He was a devoted husband, a loving father of 2, and a friend to all who left this earth without a single enemy. The outpouring of grief and admiration after his passing stands as a testament to this fact. Fans of professional wrestling will never forget any of Jon Huber's characters, or the man himself. He stands as a legend of wrestling and a role model. Rest in Peace, Jon and may we all live well enough to be as fondly remember in death as you are."

I had stopped watching WWE's product regularly by the time he debuted there as Luke Harper, but I really enjoyed his work with the Dark Order in AEW. In particular, his destruction of Cody Rhodes to win the TNT Title was one of my favorite segments in recent years. I was disappointed when that didn't really go anywhere and Cody quickly won the title back after taking a few weeks off to sell the injury, and even more disappointed that Lee disappeared from AEW television afterwards.. But now it makes more sense that it happened that way. In any case, Brodie Lee was a big man who could really move and work, who could cut a good promo when he needed to, and who generally was an excellent heel."

Despite all that, WWE never let him show his full potential, so he left and joined AEW where he became "The Exalted One" of the Dark Order and became TNT Champion. He had some quality matches and was promised to a great future. Unfortunately, life decided otherwise. And as I started to go down this rabbit-hole, I oft thought to myself, 'Harper, Cesaro, Bryan, the Shield -- those should be perennial main-eventers in this company. ' And WWE's inability to push guys like him and Cesaro would lead to my gradual disinterest in the promotion. Nevertheless, I do take solace in the fact that Brodie, with his recent stint in AEW, at least got the opportunity to showcase, on the main stage, just how darn good he was: so short, yet so memorable. In AEW as the Exalted One his presents turned around the Dark Order and the world was able to see how good he really was. I am currently watching some of his biggest matches in CHIKARA, and I heard he was a star in Dragon Gate AND DG:USA as well and I wouldn't doubt it one bit. RIP Mr. Brodie Lee."
