[6.0] "Jimmy Jacobs at the first decade of his wrestling career was absolutely phenomenal but since then he has been poor for so long. Six is only to rate his current form which has been disappointing lately"

[6.0] "Jimmy Jacobs was a giving wrestler and clearly someone who believes in helping the young generation over themselves. He helped Seth Rollins, he helped Adam Page, helped Matt Taven with presence and also helped with creative, possibly the best was in 2015 during Seth Rollins first major title run & Rybacks only title win. Which was an interesting period him in WWE as a producer but he also had stinker moments, mainly Roman Reigns lackluster run against AJ Styles, Moxley and even Kevin Owens in 2016/7. Fans might go up to him talking bout his manager roles, his producing and also an iconic first appearance in ROH hanging Jay Briscoe and cutting his promo of the age of the fall. JJ delivers everytime!"

[8.0] "Top notch might be an overstatement as far as his in-ring ability. He has good psychology and he's decent on the mic but personally I always felt he was overrated. Jimmy's strength is in long form feuds. Where most of the top indie guys strength is in doing cool moves and having spectacular matches, what sets Jimmy apart is his ability to do those long bloody feuds and have old school payoff matches. So he'd be more of a grittier wrestler, his big matches had dangerous spots, his matches featured blood frequently. All of that is what made Jimmy unique. He's better suited as a manager in the long run."

[6.0] "Never much to talk about in the ring and I think he knew that, which is why he stuck to mostly hardcore or gimmicked up. Decent talker and has had some relatively good feuds but he's also been in a lot of stinkers and his general lack of size or intimidation factor makes him not at all believable as a faction leader. I'd say he was alright back in the day when he could still work but injury took a lot away in terms of agility and nerfed his style to be more brawling, which I felt was significantly worse than before. Not bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see a vast majority of his material."

[10.0] "Amazing storyteller and very good in the ring, too. His work with Age of the Fall is a pure pleasure to watch, not to mention lesser known roles like the general of the Flood in CHIKARA. Tons of great stuff in this guy's career, one of my favorites."
MrJamessss wrote on 05.06.2014:
[7.0] "Solid worker and charismatic as hell, but I found him more entertaining in his days with the "barbaric berzeeker" gimmick. But I didn't enjoy his work since 2007 because of his "heel brawler" style, relying in weak strikes and heel tactics in his matches. I don't say that's a bad thing, I just prefer other wrestling styles."

[9.0] "I've always been a big fan of Jacobs. He's not only a great wrestler, well versed and capable of performing a large variety of styles, but he's shown a consistent ability to reinvent himself. From the huss to the Jimmy Loves Lacey angle to the Age of the Fall now to SCUM, he's done so many different things that you have to be impressed by his versatility."
