[8.0] "Quite possibly, one of the best managers in professional wrestling of all time. He was perfect as the little pipsqueak heel manager and he served his purpose as being an annoying little putz."

[8.0] "The Mouth Of The South is kind of a meme nowadays with his affiliation with Hulk Hogan and his high-pitched "Daddy! "s, but back in his day, he was a great heel manager, only second to Bobby Heenan in the WWF. Never afraid to do something or look goofy, Jimmy had a long and rich career across major companies, while also unfortunately being part of some of the worst promotions out there. Still, give the man credit, no matter what he was involved in, he gave it his best shot."

[8.0] "Great manager. He was a great talker, and his mannerisms were top notch. He had the ability to change his personality to match his client without it being too big a change for people to accept from the same character. Got to hit him for his involvement in the horrible Wrestlelicious promotion."

[7.0] "I thought he was gonna get a bad reputation for being Hulk Hogan's friend, but he gets a really good rating. He's actually the most talented one out of the Hogan & friends club (I don't consider Randy part of that group). Hart was a great manager but also was involved in some really horrible stuff, like World Wrestling Legends, the XWF and ESPECIALLY Wrestlelicious"

[9.0] "Devotion. Man I wish I could get away with just saying that because from there alone - we can build an empire. He was much more than an onscreen role but even just that speaks volumes; he was always changing up his outfit to suit/embellish/advertise his men, down to that goofy looking Biker Helmet when with the Nasty Boys & just look at the bumps/spots he was in at WrestleMania 3 alone! I love that ridiculous high pitched voice and laugh & the absurd/liberal use of "baby" . He wrote sooo much in the way of wrestling entrance themes; If it wasn't a Jim Johnston number it was either Jimmy Hart or a collab of the two. He wrote the skeletal versions of Demolition & The Hart Foundation's themes, so hot damn! those alone! A+ In WCW he was always telling guys to use more colors in their ring gear to stand out from all of the black/white that was all of the time (he was RIGHT! ). The Dungeon of Doom stuff though and the Hulk Hogan associations, very not good. The Dungeon of Doom at some point should have just been name changed to "Jimmy Hart's __________" and the wrestling world would have been a better place. None of his "managing Hogan" stuff is good, it's very painful actually, so there IS a deduction of points (That's a Hogan fault, not a Jimmy Hart fault). 9.25 rounded down. Side Note: I think I liked him best as Earthquake's manager."

Mikeymikeddd1 wrote on 31.03.2022:
[9.0] "Very good at playing the annoying and obnoxious pipsqueak. Was always a potential threat with his ever present megaphone. He lacked the wrestling skills of Heenan and most of the other managers but he showed some courage taking the occasional bump. Did a lot behind the scenes that you didn't really see. I'm not sure if phasing out managers had really improved the product. AEW has tried to bring that back but we don't have guys like Hart, Heenan, Fuji and Blassie anymore."

DanTalksRasslin wrote on 05.02.2021:
[10.0] "A onetime member of 1960s rock and roll band the Gentrys, Hart became one of the most memorable wrestling managers of the 1980s, with a great character as an awesomely-obnoxious loudmouth complete with his megaphone and those awesome jackets specific to who he was managing. Managed a great stable of charges over the years, often against his real-life friend Hulk Hogan before he and Hogan became allied in WCW in the '90s. Also notable for his behind-the-scenes work as a music composer for both WWF and WCW, including memorable themes for Dusty Rhodes, Shawn Michaels and Honky Tonk Man in the WWF, and Hulk Hogan and the West Texas Rednecks in WCW."

[9.0] "One of the best managers of all time. Maybe just a run below Heenan. Jimmy was unbelievably entertaining & had a great look with the jackets & megaphone. Whether it be as a heel or as a face, Jimmy Hart really helped to get whoever he was managing to the next level."
ElPolloLoco wrote on 18.06.2019:
[9.0] "Amazing talker, he could really make himself and his charges absolutely hated by the crowd, which in some territories could get pretty scary. He may not have had the amazing quick wit of a Heenan or the God-given promo genius of a Cornette but he could easily match both by playing his loud and obnoxious characters to perfection. An absolute master of entertainment psychology. In fact I rank him slightly higher than Cornette, my favorite manager of all times, due to his backstage generosity and his music ability. Jimmy Hart wrote so many wrestling themes and songs, including the absolutely hilarious "Rap is crap" sung by the great late Curt Hennig. One of wrestling's all time greats, an incredible character."
