"JTG was a good wrestler, like good move set on the mic but at the end of the day I dont think he would excel solo and was best in tag teams. following cryme time split which was a disaster there just was nothing meaningful for him to do ultimately leading to his release but I do think he was a wasted guy in the company"

[7.0] "If this wasnt a rating on his wrestling ability or his promo work or anything but this is for the 2022 WWE Hall Of Fame. He walked out for a nostalgia pop, allowed both of the other two to walk into the ring first, gave Shad's son the Cryme Tyme hand shake, and just walked out respectfuly before she started talking to give the stage to Shad's family, C-L-A-S-S. I have nothing but respect for JTG after that, he could have easily made the moment all about him, could have owned the scene if he wanted to, just trying to get noticed, but no. This man is near the top of my list of respect for smaller guys in the WWE history, JTG if your somehow reading this, I just wanna say thank you, and that some people need to learn to take a step back and be like you in a way, respectful, curtous, and simply classy. Thank you JTG, youve earned this ten, thank you Shad, R.I.P. youve earned one too down the road. For his wrestling and promo ability i give him a six, im giving his an extra point for what he did there"

[6.0] "It was sad that JTG wasn't used properly in WWE, because he is a good wrestler with a nice gimmick! The time with Cryme Tyme was a good too and here again. Cryme Tyme weren't used properly and never had any Tag Team titles."

[2.0] "Never liked this guy. He was great with Cryme Tyme. When eh went on his own he was terrible and was used as a jobber. I consider him a modern day jobber."

[5.0] "Totally average and unremarkable wrestler who, these days, is mostly notable for how long he managed to stay employed without being used."

[4.0] "I actually liked Cryme Tyme more than most. I think there could have been something there with this duo working the big man-small man dynamic, but they quickly became a comedy act. When the team disbanded, neither guy was talented enough to get over as a singles."

[8.0] "From the beginning, JTG was better than his team partner, Shad Gaspard. Better in the ring, better on the mic. Overall, JTG was a solid worker. Unfortunately, he finished his work in WWE as enhancement talent . His gimmick did't help him, although he was very good, gangsta character did'nt fit for PG era."

[6.0] "Showed prowess in the ring (not Kurt Angle-worthy matches, but definitely better than expected) and was skilled on the mic. It's a shame he never became a bigger star. He had all of the ingredients. He deserved better."

[7.0] "He was clearly the better of the two in Cryme Tyme and has always entertained when given the chance. Unfortunately, he's more remarkable these days for his continued employment in WWE despite being used for virtually nothing."

[8.0] "JTG doesn't get enough credit. He is very agile, and charismatic. He has developed a brawlers style and has increased in terms of ability and mic skills. I would love for him to see him in the cruiserweight division if it ever comes back."
