[5.0] "NOTE: 5 points is the highest rating I give to regional Indy wrestlers who are unproven on television. 5 points for a regional indy wrestler indicates that they are among the best in the territory. The ceiling I place on my ratings of regional indy wrestlers has nothing to do with talent, but with them being unproven on a grander scale than their normal audiences ... I'm so happy Eye Candy came back to wrestling. Though there's nothing otherworldly spectacular about him, he's a great heel to have on your show. He's also a top-three wrestler in the midwest in terms of physical attractiveness. Being beautiful never hurts lol. The whole "Eye Candy" gimmick is genius. He never hid from his eye issue, he owned it and wore it as a suit of armor. I love that. His gear is always top-notch, and his logo rules. He can cut a good promo and does an excellent job working the crowd and drawing heat. While he's no Bret Hart in the ring, he's very good and doesn't waste any movements. On top of all this, he's hilarious. He's regularly one of the funniest parts of the always funny Freelance Wrestling shows. If I'm a promoter in the Midwest, I'd be calling this guy up and trying to book him for every show I run. He'll help earn sympathy for your babyfaces, make you laugh, make you mad, and he'll be a pretty face to promote your show. I can't say enough good things about Eye Candy. I'm not sure what his goals in wrestling are, but I think the only thing that really holds him back from the next level is his actual wrestling skill. In a wrestling scene where physical ability is favored, he simply doesn't do anything impressive enough to get him looks from a company like AEW, but perhaps that's by design. I think he certainly could have made it to WWE or TNA if he hadn't taken his hiatus. He's definitely better than some on TV right now though. Regardless of whether he ever makes it to television or not, he is a fantastic wrestler to have on a variety show such as wrestling. I'm much more likely to buy a ticket to shows that he's on."
