[4.0] "Unfortunately since joining AEW her stock has declined. Before she was a 6-7. I didn't think she was as good as people said but she was still a very solid wrestler. I haven't seen that in AEW. She's looked very sloppy in her matches and hasn't been getting the correct presentation either."

[4.0] "Deonna for me is the type of wrestler that I NEVER got addicted for her ring style. It is the type of technical wrestling I think it's boring, ass. However, can't deny the fact that she is pretty good at her gimmicks. The Vendetta one she created at AEW should be more value for Tony Khan's eyes."

"Deonna Purrazzo is one of the best female workers in all of wrestling today. WWE fumbled her big time and in TNA/Impact, she was incredible. In AEW, she's been misused and mistreated. In any promotion, she's the top woman or at least one of the top women's workers in the business. I mean, she's not Mildred Burke or Mae Young or June Byers. But she's better than she's doing right now."

[5.0] "Technically sound wrestler but just lacks any sort of charisma, mic skills or a hook to draw you in. She also moves much slower now than she did a few years ago, leaving her matches feeling boring as well. I don't mind her and I have enjoyed some of her work but a lot of it falls pretty flat. I just think there's far, far more entertaining women in pro wrestling these days."

When judging or rating a pro wrestler, let's examine his or her entire body of work and not just use a snapshot in their career. Deonna Purrazzo a.k.a. The Virtuosa is highly skilled as a professional wrestler. Her rivalry with Mickie James was legendary. Fujiwara Armbar specialist and Venus de Milo practitioner, Deonna is an extraordinary talent. When given an opportunity, Purrazzo excels. Allow me to jog your memory. Deonna Purrazzo: three-time Knockouts World Champion, the Champ Champ (AAA/ROH), and the in-ring technician. In Impact Wrestling, Purrazzo formed one of the greatest tag teams of all time: VXT with Chelsea Green. VXT would go on to win The Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Titles. Dee was on The United States team & won the women's AAA Lucha Libre World Cup (with Jordynne Grace & Kamille). Deonna Purrazzo had a classic rivalry against Thunder Rosa in AEW. The Vendetta had great potential in AEW and still does with the right creative story lines. Deonna is not the booker. Look at what they did to Kamille after her historic run as NWA women's champion. To her credit, Purrazzo is being proactive and taking bookings on the independent scene. She is staying active by wrestling for GCW, HOG, and more. From "Fluent In Purrazzo" to "Virtuosa" to "Throne Of Gold" to "Antipathy", there is no denying Deonna's star power and legendary greatness."

[3.0] "HAD loads of potential. Used to be very good in the ring with a decent move-set and could cut decent promos. Unfortunately, she had gradually gotten out of shape gaining a lot of weight over the years and as a result her in-ring work suffered immensely. Going to AEW added insult to injury as their women's division isn't too good and nearly everybody get booked very badly. Now she's a shell of her former self as a low-carder in a weak women's division!"

[4.0] "She's a good technical wrestlers but has little versatility, no real character, and can't cut a promo. Basically, to put it in the most simple way possible, she is boring. There is this narrative that she should get a big push, but that's completely stemmed from people who don't actually watch her and just want a reason to attack where she works. Like I said, good wrestler in the technical sense, but not good enough to warrant being anything more than someone who helps boost other mid card talents."

[7.0] "Good promos and a good, solid, wrestling base. What made her successful in TNA isn't clicking in AEW and I honestly don't know why. She can still wrestle but the crowd refuses to get behind her as a face or boo her intensely as a heel. I'm hoping something changes because she's very good but we'll see."

[7.0] "I don't understand what Deonna did right in TNA, which for some reason just doesn't click in WWE or AEW. Deonna is a wrestler with size, strength, credibility, and, in my opinion, she's the true submission magician. But, despite being the Belt Collector in TNA, nothing happened in WWE and now she doesn't stand out in AEW either. I have doubts about whether her problem is the classic Backstage politics or if her wrestling style only works on small stages... time will tell. I love Deonna Purazzo, she's my favorite female wrestler, and wherever she wrestles, I'll be there with banners shouting her name."

[6.0] "I don't know what happened to her, but now I find it boring to watch her, she doesn't have that energy in the ring that characterized her before, she lost all that aura she had. In AEW I feel that she still doesn't connect with the crowd and they haven't given her good treatment, that's why she has had such an abrupt fall."

[5.0] "An OK in-ring worker that has a lot of potential to be a technical master, but after a decade, she hasn't tapped in to this. She has serviceable matches and her character is saved by her large charisma. Her pre-AEW run was quite promising, but since she joined, she's been dead on arrival."

[7.0] "Deonna is talented and has potential that has not yet been exploited. She is charismatic and has a physique that goes with it. Her wrestling is good or very good depending on the opponent. For the moment her potential has not exploded but at any time she can join the great wrestlers, I wish her to have a booking that allows her to blossom completely."

[5.0] "The only thing I have seen from her is her AEW run and it has been disappointing so far. Most of her matches vary from average to bad, she might have some fine matches once in a while but that is not enough. Not being that critical because I don't know much about the rest of her career but that is my rating for now."

[5.0] "I've only seen her in AEW but based on her reputation, her run in the first few months has been a huge disappointment. Slow, unconfident, out of sync with opponents. And somehow even worse on the mic, her feud with Toni Storm has been entirely carried by Toni. Really hope she's able to find her footing here, because I was really excited to see her, based on her rep from TNA."

[4.0] "If 4 is adequate, i would say that is about where I would rank her. Technically I would say 6 (satisfactory nothing special) and her promo skills are 2 (inadequate) so the average would be a 4. Tough to get past her whiny voice. Also, she can compete with subpar wrestlers on the roster and look okay, but competing with better wrestlers such as Toni Storm, Hikaru Shida, and Serena Deeb expose her weaknesses."

[5.0] "I don't really understand what others see in her. She has a good look, but I find her promos unconvincing, and while she knows a lot of holds, she seems to struggle at leading a match. Her best work is with opponents that are more well-rounded such as Jordynne Geace."

[4.0] "Very good technically in the ring, but slow, unathletic and boring overall. Ive never been impressed by her work and she is routinely outshined by her oppositions. I give her a 4/10, because I know Im missing something, but based on what Ive seen with my own eyes, a 4 is being very generous. Once again, good technical wrestler, just lacking in almost every other category."

[7.0] "Very good female technical wrestler. Deonna shined in places like ROH and Impact and had good matches in NXT as well. Promos would probably be her weakest portion along with a gimmick that fails to make her stand out on crowded rosters like AEW. She can still put on bangers against any opponent."

[4.0] "Sorry I don't see it, she is fine in the ring but every match I've seen from her has been just OKAY at beast, the only matches from her that I've rated more than 6 are multi-woman matches, I guess she is fine in the mic and in the ring but in general I always end dissapointed when she wrestles"

[10.0] "For as much recognition as she receives, I still believe shes pretty underrated. Easily one of the best female wrestlers out there, as well as one of the top technicians. I would put her as one of my 3 favorite females in the world, and one of the top 5, if not top 3."

[10.0] "Deonna is a great technician and a major inspiration to college students to always believe in themselves while they are working hard. She is a very successful wrestler and has wrestled all over the world just to entertain her fans. WWE dropped the ball on this young and talented lady, she is a future Hall Of Famer and will have an amazing legacy."

[9.0] "Great technical wrestler, with a tremendous look and that can cut some brilliant promos. She has what it takes to become one of the best women wrestlers in the world, and she's not even 30. Deonna just needs a big opportunity by a major promotion. She could easily be in the main event scene in AEW and WWE."

[10.0] "Head and shoulders above many other women today. Almost flawless technically. Tremendous look, entrances, promos. Could be among the top two or three female talent in any promotion in the world. Adding weight only sets her apart further from the crowd, and makes her in ring work and cardio that much more impressive."

[9.0] "Easily in the top 5 women's wrestlers in North America, I'd even argue for top 3. Able to effortlessly have main event matches that deliver and don't drag. Really found her niche with the Virtuosa character and has a solid finisher moveset (Fujiwara / Queen's Gambit go hard). The only thing keeping her from being a 10 to me is the promos; she sometimes sounds unconfident and almost crying-esque when talking. If she can get down the confidence she's a solid 10, as is though, she's still phenomenal and has tons of upside (she's only 28 as of this review)."

I'm glad she's getting all the titles she deserves. Altough she's not perfect, but she's just 28 years old, so time is on her side. I'm loving her act with Chelsea Green."

[6.0] "She's talented enough that she could be an all-around great performer. For now though, her ring work isn't up to par with others and lacks behind her other areas. Her mic work is really good and she's got great charisma. The virtuosa has become a great gimmick and she's become a great heel. I still struggle to name a match she's been in that's been memorable though. She's not bad in the ring, just forgettable and it seems to just not click at times."

[3.0] "I'm really surprised by her rating and it seems very strange to me how her best years are the lowest rated while this year when her level has clearly fallen off is the highest and people are now noticing how "full package" she is contrast to what she is really now, I can say her time in the independent promotions was the best in Her career and she has been doing well with a simple gimmick even her first days with Impact Wrestling was good but since the heel turn and everything around her started to get worse, her performance started slowing down with her weight gain - let's be honest - and she started moving away from her Techniker style and her gimmick no Goes on about anything and looks like she made a heel turn without any logical purpose, I'll probably come back in the future and change my mind to a more positive one because I was really liked her."

[10.0] "Not only is she absolutely gorgeous, has amazing character and a pretty good mic skill, she is just the best woman's wrestler in the planet at the moment, her technical skills being match by only a very select few, being men or women."

[9.0] "Champ Champ for a reason. She shows that there needs to be places where performers can have both creative freedom and actual time to develop the characters and storylines. Regardless of whether or not she's the best 'worker' she has totally redefined herself to the point where she has made herself part of the conversation. Simply, the Virtuosa."

[9.0] "Truly outstanding wrestler. Her reign(s) as Impact Women's Champion have been monumental, she's really morphed into the main event calibre talent that she had the potential to be."

[9.0] "One of the best female wrestlers in the United States for sure at this point. Deonna Purrazzo had a great reign as the Knockouts Champion, has a great gimmick, and has solid in-ring work. I'm shocked WWE never saw anything in her, especially with how young she still is."

[6.0] "The so called best women in wrestling has been having boring matches throughout her knockouts title reign . Every match since she won the knockouts title is worth skipping through and she calls herself the best technical wrestler and uses four holds in total which are not for working on the body part but looking flashy . Her only good match was with Thunder Rosa and Rosa carried her through that match . Deonna is a highly overrated wrestler . Does not know how to tell a story in the ring and tries to act all smart thinking that is good in ring character work . Outside of the ring she can cut a decent promo and is a good enough smug chicken shit heel but that is all. Edit: I think I was way too judgmental and strict while rating her. Her championship reign was underwhelming and did not deliver as per expectations however she is still a good performer when she is not champion. I guess it was the pressure as champion that led to some very lethargic and exacerbating outings. Her matches with Madison , Mickie , Rosa , Tenille were good enough but her very recent meeting with Masha was something else i.e very impressive. I guess I have to bump the rating a point higher."

[3.0] "She's had an very long reign as Knockouts champ and absolutely nothing to show for it. No interesting stories, no remarkable matches. Nothing. On top of that she's trying to market herself as a premier technical wrestler without the skills to be one. It's nice to want things, but if you look around at some of the technical wrestling going on today and can't measure up to it, don't make that your whole character!"

[9.0] "Deonna Purrazzo is seriously underrated among the raters here. She's a very good in-ring performer, an excellent heel, and continues to improve as an all-around wrestler."

[9.0] "Deonna Purrazzo deserves to be in the WWE, and has finally made it. She is one of the hardest working wrestlers today, working for the big 3 in American Professional Wrestling, along with travelling through the United States to gain experience, before travelling around the globe, honing her technical ability. Deonna is all about technique, and everything she does has intent, and purpose. She is one of the most well rounded wrestlers in the world, and is possibly among the best in the world today. I love how she's going to other companies on na international level and representing Impact, starting with AAA. Hopefully, when the world opens back to normal, Deonna continues to travel the world as a rep for impact."

[9.0] "She is so talented, she has had an amazing Title run, although at this point it should come to an end as she has faced most of the division, she came into Impact unknown to me and now she is one pf my favourites in the Knockouts roster, she should go for the tag titles. I would like to see her go back to Stardom again, especially Syuri, Utami, Konami and AZM."

[2.0] "For the love of god, and this is the most technically gifted wrestler? Good thing it's only one person who says and thinks so - Deonna Purazzo. Her massive push doesn't match her ability, she's a horribly overrated wrestler and why she gets that push is a big mystery to me. The final thing that pissed me off was the way Faby Apache was treated at Triplemania - it's one of the worst matches ever. Deonna needs to work on her body first and foremost, then learn how to read promos properly (work on her voice, which is jarring) and just look like a Champion in the ring, dammit! A strong contender for the worst Knockouts champion in the history of Impact/TNA."

[4.0] "Her little charisma complements her by being a pretty decent wrestler who needs good rivals to stand out, because it is difficult to see her have a good match with someone of a lower level than her. Update: her reign has been really boring, I mean she did have a good match against Jordynne but after that it was nothing, maybe the match against Rosa was the exception but nothing more... Impact is really in trouble having such a boring champion in terms of in-ring and the promo I don't mention it because it's not the most important thing at least for me."

[5.0] "Yes she has some talent but i still don't understand why everyone try to push her. I mean she's good sometimes but i don't think she could fill an arena with 500 people by herself. She was in TNA and ROH before and was mostly a jobber but after she gets fired from WWE, why the companies changed their mind to push her because she didn't do anything in WWE."

[4.0] "I'm downgrading my former rating. Purrazzo had a pretty good post-wwe start vs Grace, the perfect opponent for her. Then Impact - maybe fueled by the praise of befriended journalists - booked the women's division from A to Z exclusively for her needs. Long-time champ, wins non-title tournament too, retires Jazz, gets the rub from Gail, NWA-partnership (Rosa, Mickie) only for her, Invicta champ gives rub, former Aiden English announces her entrance... And it has become clear how unsubstantial that constant hype try is. Bad promos, few alright matches 2021 (vs Dashwood and Rosa) and she never shows any true interest to elevate others. Unfortunately with her uber-booking it also drags the division down."

[4.0] "Strange to say, but I honestly feel she has lost her talent rather than improving over the years. Incredibly overrated"

[2.0] "The worst aspects of Shane Douglas were that he never cared to work a match, his philosophy on wrestling could be best described as "Get my shit in". His opponents were just bodies that he could use to make himself look good. At the very least, Deonna Purrazzo actually looks like an adequate wrestler as she gets her shit in. But make no mistake about it, Deonna Purrazzo is the modern Shane Douglas."

[3.0] "Deonna is definitely in the conversation for the worst Impact Knockout's Champion ever. She is less charismatic than a piece of paper. Her voice is like nails to a chalkboard. If her confidence around a mic was a temperature, it would be -273, 15 Celsius, cause frankly you can't get any lower than that."
