In-ring, he combines technical precision with a natural athleticism that makes every move feel deliberate and impactful. His promo work is equally strong; he commands attention with charisma and clarity, drawing you into whatever story he's telling. While his career may not have received the mainstream recognition it deserves, his performances, particularly recent bouts against Gregory Sharpe and Zack Sabre Jr., showcase a wrestler at the peak of his craft. Makabe balances skill, intelligence, and presence in a way that few can match, making him a true gem for those who take the time to watch him."

[9.0] "he will go down as thee definition of an underrated wrestler or under seen wrestler? not sure the right word for it but hes great on the mic/ for a promo and is beautiful in the ring. I dont know his full history as I only found out about him this year but I hope he was able to get acknowledged or some flowers in his 20 year career. from socials, you can tell hes such a good guy with a great knowledge of wrestling (could probably tell by how great he is in the ring too) I know this sounds like being a grade a fan boy but like I said, its cause I truly think not enough people know about him. going to be looking or older matches of his but some matches this year I recommend this year from him are his matches against Gregory Sharpe and Zack Saber Jr. for prestige."

"At first, you think he's a slightly taller, larger Danielson, but then, match after match, there's variety you just don't see in an American Dragon match, while he still stays true to the Danielson master-technician style. It's hard to go into a Makabe match without expecting to see something true to Makabe-form, which is always thoroughly satisfying to watch."

"A personal favorite, and one of the reasons I started digging more into the old UWF "shoot style" wrestling shows. His IWTV The Life Of episode has some behind the scenes of Scenic City Invitational, including a conversation with Arik Royal after their match, making sure their moves were not "too snug". It's a wholesome moment that makes you wonder how often it happens in the rest of the business. Has had a lot of great matches some of which you can just find on YouTube and see some great stories being told."

He is a great scientific/technical wrestler, who would thrive in places like wxw, beyond and progress. The fact that he can hang with guys like Thathcer and Gresham and wrestle on the same level as them says a lot about his abilities."
