Of those, he averages a 4.6/10, and if you average only his matches at 5.00 and higher, he gets a... 5.54/10. He's no Danielson, he's no Gobbledy Gooker, though it sounds like they introduced him that way in WWE. I liked his comedy in AEW, but that might be because it was such a contrast from the darker parts of AEW or because there were bigger things to hate on at the time. WWE bought it and now they broke it. If Danhausen ever returns to AEW, I will be shocked but not immediately displeased."

"I've always been a comedy wrestler gimmick guy, that's not to say I have never appreciated all kinds of other talent because I personally believe wrestling is most enjoyable to me as a variety show and Danhausen fits that perfectly in my eyes. While quite a polarizing figure in wrestling to me Danhausen will never not be fun to watch. I've only been following his career since his entry in AEW but from there I went back and watched his stuff on the independent and I love how no matter where he has ended up he has been able to keep the gimmick which feels rare in the industry. I really enjoy his antics but not only that but he is pretty solid in the ring; nothing too crazy; he's no Will Ospreay, Chad Gable or Hiroshi Tanahashi but I like that. I can't really see him main eventing WWE in any serious way and that's why the gimmick thrives; he's the guy who curses people with a Munsters like vibe. It was really disappointing as a fan to see him go really underutilised in the last year he spent in AEW. I mean his voice alone lives in my head like the Green Goblin that's enough for me. But in all seriousness I love Danhausen, although he's not always perfect and I hate to admit it but especially these days he can be too much with overexposure which is what concerned me greatly when he arrived in WWE but despite that and the disappointing reaction he received at Elimination Chamber I still love him and I'm very happy to have watched him all this time with joy and real admiration for what he does. I only really ever watch WWE now for Danhausen! Fly high-hausen."

But it seems that the more he leans onto comedy relief, the less that becomes apparent. His run to me in the WWE so far has been nothing short of a bummer, especially with how much they've promoted him. Although exposure is a good thing, there is a point where it becomes a bit too much to consume and that's the case with Danhausen. He's just not my cup of tea."

Bonus point for the fact that he mostly appears backstage or between ads, so he doesn't steal matches from other wrestlers. Well except the time he had one of the worst matches of recent SummerSlams."

He doesn't have any of the in-ring psychology nor capabilities to make any of his matches worth watching, so I'm not expecting a Danhausen classic anytime soon. And I think right now, his humor is getting EXTREMELY overexposed. Making his curse an integral part of a women's main event feud really soured things for a lot of people."

But for what it's worth, what he is as an ever-present gimmicky character, and he has crafted that part of his career very well. His success as that has really shown it over the years, and it was for the most part always over with the audience everywhere he went. He's a ball of energy, not afraid to be goofy (I mean that's pretty much this whole nature of the character), and he's a genuinely good comedy wrestler. So glad he got on TV for two major promotions, and I really hope his current proven success in WWE doesn't slow down in the near future."

Every Danhausen match I've seen so far in WWE, he's at least once pulled out a really slickly-done spot that left me surprised, considering the kind of wrestler he is. He relies a bit too heavily on the One Catchphrase Of Doom and his bits often land on the same beats, but he's not a one-dimensional comedian. He'll never be Bryan Danielson great in-ring & that's okay."

Literally every member of Judgement Day (WWE) has been fed to this guy. It doesn't make sense that he's booked to have a match on PLEs/PPVs instead of actual talents... Can he just wrestle only on the weekly shows? I feel like it makes sense why AEW didn't use him. We need actual wrestlers to wrestle on big events and he's barely even a wrestler"

They should use him as backstage ten second comedy and keep it pushing WWE has amazing talent that their spots is getting taken by Danahusen so yeah he doesn't do anything for me. Even the matches at Backlash and SummerSlam it too me a wasted spot as someone like Carmelo Hayes, Giulia, Ilja Dragunov or Jordynne Grace could of had but instead we are subjected to some corny humor that isn't even funny. He's supposed to be a comedy character but he isn't funny in the near slightest and he's super cringe. I know some will argue he's supposed to be for kids but my response to that is that you can appeal to kids and not make it cringey and awful for adults. Look at what R Truth did. He's a comedy character and he's fantastic. R Truth makes the kids laugh while making the adults smile as well. That's not the case with Danhausen. The kids might like him but for most other people we just click the remote whenever he's on screen. His segments and matches are awful. That backlash match was total cringe. That SNME match was even more cringe. That recent segment with Joe Hendry on raw is a worst segment of all time contender. The cherry on top is that he's one of the worst wrestlers I've ever seen. He's so bad in the ring he makes Jey look almost competent. So overall a total failure in my eyes. I'm not trying to say all these things because I'm a hater I'm just giving my honest to God opinions. If I think someone is horrible I'm gonna come out and say it to everyone's face I'm not going to blatantly lie and tell you I think someone or something is good when I really don't think it is."

Fast forward to now, he is way too forced, and feels shoved down our throats. it feels like WWE is trying to make him into a megastar by featuring him everywhere, which has led to incidents like the Joe Hendry concert, which made me want to claw my eyes out. He does have some mainstream success however, appearing on ESPN and being quite a successful crossover with NBA. If WWE tries to pull any more shit like that concert Danhausen will become disliked and will become viewed as forced and overexposed."

Bitte genauso weiter machen!"

However, his gimmick could be used very well in WWE and his first promo showed more than just a little pinch of promise. If he can't be a good wrestler, and he isn't, at least he could have a fun character run at a company known for wacky and out there characters just like him. EDIT: Yea he definitely is just that. Legit he's the only reason i would ever bother to tune in to WWE programming, even if he's still very poor at many things I would normally like in a pro wrestler."

The character's multifaceted nature also makes him highly adaptable and consistently engaging."

The WrestleMania minis and mini-Hausen" Backlash match were things I could've done without, but overall he's a treat in WWE. Anyone saying he's a massive failure in WWE is either not paying attention or living in an alternate reality. Danhausen should be an inspiration to all indie wrestlers. Evidence that the right kind of self-promotion and a lot of luck can lead to a spot on National TV (twice in Danhausen's case). His time in AEW was wasted and the success we're now witnessing is evidence that this was a massive wasted opportunity. Never imagined I'd be advocating for a wrestler who can seemingly cause pyro to shoot off up another man's ass, but these are crazy times in which we live"

Everyone who "fall" for it are looking incredibly dumb. And yeah... his "cloning machine"... that is even more stupid than his "cursing" gimmick. And why he has a jar of teeth? Danhausen is from Michigan...If you're not very talented or limited with some entertainment value, it pays to be friends with the top guy. So I'll reserve judgment until I've seen a few and see if he's really as bad in the ring as people claim or, even if he is, whether WWE production and booking can cover for that. What I will say is that I'm already a big fan of the gimmick and he's gotten very over with me with the two or three backstage segments he's had, and that, and merch sales, are undoubtedly the two main reasons WWE signed him so they must be happy with how that's going so far. I'll wait and see how this unfolds."

Danhausen is a great example of something working on the indies because indie wrestling fans love a batshit weird gimmick, but that's as far as it should have ever gone.
