Did fine and dandy in the territory days our in the minor leagues but never could make the jump to the big leagues. Dude had a problematic attitude and was known for being a HORRENDOUS driver, which ultimately lead to his end."

[6.0] "Great looking elbows and he had a strong grasp on timing/pacing. Buddy's problem was his inconsistency. Even rewatching and seeing time unfold all over again it's still true: Sometimes he was there looking pretty good, usually he wasn't there and then whenever he came back, he didn't look or seem the same. His body fluctuated, his work, desire and inner fire ebbed and flowed as well. Buddy's worst enemy was himself and it's a shame. Potential squandered/Underachiever to the point that it's borderline grotesque. 5.75 rounded up when being a near 9 was SO close to a possibility."

[7.0] "Buddy was a good worker and a good talker. He could main event in regional promotions, but on the national stage, in the NWA, he was midcard material. Whether or not his proposed program with Ric Flair would have elevated Landel higher up the card is one of those questions that will forever remain unanswered."

[8.0] "Buddy Landall was actually a natural who reaked of talent and charisma and was always first in line to be given the next push by the promoters. He had that ability to get over with the fans as a credible main eventer within a week or two of entering a territory. What held him back was his total lack of dependability. This was partly fueled by his lifestyle and partly by his attitude. He has readily confessed in several shoot interviews that he was his own worst enemy on multiple occasions constantly sabatoging his push. Despite this, he was given third chance and fourth chance and fifth chance every time because the untapped potential was so huge with this guy."
