Edit: Post Brodido run, oh my god was everything i have always thought about Brody true he is such a good wrestler and i am glad he finally got the chance to show it hopefully he is in the C2 again and gets more chances to shine"

[8.0] "It's a strange case because he has everything, yet he always ends up stuck in the low-mid card. I think the first issue is with his attire. Let me explain his entrance is awesome, but then in the ring he's wearing that big costume and keeps adjusting it constantly. I don't understand why he hasn't switched to something different. It makes no sense. Another problem is probably his in-ring work he executes every move, but there's no interaction with the crowd, neither as a face nor as a heel. And that really hurts him, because his moveset is actually quite solid. But at 38, I don't know if there's still time to turn things around. It's a shame, because he had the potential to be a main eventer."

Samoa Joe might be big big, but he wrestles with more of a striking/technical style with some power moves thrown in. Brody is a big guy brawler, who nonstop bashes the crap out of his opponents. When they made him Malakai blacks kind of enforcer I was really angry. He should have be the center point of that group. Aew should turn him heel make him go on a rampage for about a year. He could eventually take the title off Osprey who I'm pretty sure Is beating Morley for it. Let him be this large destroyer that someone like Darby will have to overcome to get the top title. I feel like this writes itself."

I've seen a couple of his matches prior to this one and he's a walking juggernaut who's able to wow you with some agility as well that catches you off-guard and hopefully his time in AEW will allow him to go beyond a ceiling of being known apart of a group or tag team! BE HARDER!"

Not sure of his promo ability but not everyone needs to be a promo, so I can excuse that. Great look, great athleticism for his size, great moveset, can't ask for much more from someone like him. Wouldn't be upset at him winning a major title one day."

[4.0] "Poor on the mic and average in the ring for me. I'd rather see othe guys getting the push that he's getting right now but I guess everyone needs their own piece sometime. I just find it very hard to believe in him as a top guy and hope to good he doesn't get more monotone mic segments"

[6.0] "Great in his role as the powerhouse of the stable. Looks like a believable enforcer and is a very good worker for his size. His athleticism wouldn't go amiss on a guy 50lbs lighter than him and has learnt how and when to use it more in recent years. I've not seen a promo from him but not everyone needs to do that, especially if he's always going to be around a stable member or manager."

[7.0] "King has an amazing look and the skills to succeed. In the ring King is very good and when paired with the right opponent he can deliver an amazing match. He is always a reliable big guy. He does good character work. Weakest part of him is his promo work which being in a group helps."

[9.0] "Maybe my favorite big guy right now. He is a great part of the House of Black trio and an amazingly threatening heel. I adored the series he did with Darby last year and I've been going back to watch a lot of his stuff in ROH. He's cool. threatening and great in the ring. The full package."

[7.0] "Brody's got a great look, good charisma, and good athleticism for somebody his size. The only thing missing has been booking for him. I think he'll excel when given a bigger opportunity to do so."

[7.0] "I used to be quite negative about Brody in his earlier career when he seemed too focused on proving that he could do lucha moves, but he has started wrestling with more aggression since then and he really won me over in his ROH tenure with some strong performances against guys like Lethal and Gresham. I'm not quite sold just yet so am a bit apprehensive in my 7/10 rating, but he does seem to have really improved over the last couple of years and I look forward to seeing what's next for him."

[8.0] "In PWG he was one of the wrestlers who stood out the most, he demonstrated doing suicide dives, hurricanranas, jumps from the rope... he showed that not only cruiserweights can do those things. In AEW so far he has done very well as a team, although that level that he demonstrated in PWG has not been seen much until now."

I cannot get past the fact that he seems to be a very gentle and articulate, well read kind of guy.. If he could find a way to make that work FOR him, watch out."
