[5.0] "Honestly, I remember him as being good, like, really good at Lucha Underground, but he never was able to reach that level on AEW, mostly because his body was already so fucked up for anything else. He might be the only wrestler in the entire word that had a transition for highflyer into technical one. Crazy."

[8.0] "One of the best sellers in the game. His wrestling is very fluid. His best was in Lucha Underground."

[4.0] "He's the definition of a MOVES wrestler. He knows how to do a lot of high flying moves, he's athletic but there's nothing else to him. He's got the charisma of a wet sock, his can't cut a good promo and his ring Psychology is basically Nonexistent. Not a fan of him."

[9.0] "An amazing talent who's spent way too much time sidelined by injuries, and forced to chance his style to accommodate those injuries. When he's healthy and able to be consistent, he's woefully underused relative to the level of his talents."

"Tony Khan is either blind or ignorant. He has Angelico, which was the backbone of Lucha Underground, but he doesn't know how to book him right. He is a great wrestler and definitely could compete as an AEW regular."

Nice lucha-type style from a taller guy, some crazy spots (that one off Dario's office? come on), a fun character -- kind of lackadaisical guy. Has a fun trio's team with Ivelisse and Son of Havoc, which is dysfunctional as all hell, and funny as all hell."

[7.0] "His time at Lucha Underground was absolutely beautiful. Angelico is truly special. Sadly, he changed is style and lost most of his hype. I'll keep him at 7 for his potential of coming back to how good he was."

In many ways, he is almost like the "Mexican" (I say this loosely bc his peak was in Mexico) version of Zack Sabre Jr. for pulling out many submission moves on the fly. If only I could get TK to notice me and other fans that are pushing for Angelico to dust the ROH Pure division now that he owns the brand. #AngelicoDeservesBetter - LETS MAKE A MOVEMENT"

[8.0] "Great mix of llave grappling and high flying, and his dancing character is very charismatic and entertaining. It's honestly baffling that AEW can't find something to do with him, especially since the ROH Pure division exists. I hope they figure him out soon. He's a wasted talent otherwise and he needs something bigger than SAP. I'd rate him higher if he actually got any airtime."

[7.0] "I love Angelico, but something's not right here. His gimmick, his personality, his technical skills and high flying moves in the ring are all great, some of the best I've seen in AEW. But there is something missing (besides promo skills) that's causing me not to put a higher rating. I'm not sure what it is, but it's probably why he's not on TV more. Maybe it's the fact TH2 broke up? He does feel unfulfilled without Jack Evans. He's a great wrestler, but something's not there."

[8.0] "For many, Angelico is associated primarily with the Lucha Underground, he managed to become the soul and heart of the company, although by the end of his time in LU he had already become a rare guest there. He has a rich experience of performing all over the world and is now actively performing in AEW, although he stays there in the last roles, no longer showing particularly outstanding matches, mainly wrestling on web shows. Angelico is not deprived of charisma and look, but his weak side is the microphone. I think he is a fairly good technical wrestler and high-flyer, and also great tag team specialist who has achieved success in Mexico, but unfortunately did not succeed in the United States. Now is not the best stage in his career, he got a good contract with a big company, but almost never appears on television, but I hope that he will have another chance to prove himself again."

[10.0] "The reason I'm giving Angelico 10 points is I love this guy theme song, chill vibe, ring skill, and I always get hyped when I see him, one of my favs"

[8.0] "Angelico is a fantastic in-ring worker that wasn't given his time to shine since he was paired with Evans and perpetually stuck in Dark. Now that he's on his own, and may even be paired with this guy Johl who's impressive in his own right, it's his time to shine. He has the look, the athleticism, the in-ring technical prowess, and doesn't need good mic skills since that's what factions are for: cover a wrestler's weak points."

[8.0] "Angelico is one of my favorite technical wrestlers at the moment and he always finds ways to impress even in short matches. He has a silly charisma and rave attire that makes him standout as one of the most unique technical wrestlers today"

[7.0] "Angelico is a lot like his partner Jack Evans but instead of high flying spots he has technical maneuvers that he can just bust out on a whim. It really makes me look forward to his matches, and on top of that he can do high flying as well. And his entrance is great."

[5.0] "The only time when Angelico stood out to me was when he was a part of that amazing trio with Ivelisse and Son of Havoc over at Lucha Underground. Other than that, he's not shown me much."

[5.0] "Angelico has had an undistinguished run in AEW. His grappling style is cool and I dig it, but I feel he needs to add another element, and it's a weird fit in AEW's spot-focused tag team environment. He shines more in singles matches, but he still hasn't had the strong performance he needs to elevate his profile."

[8.0] "Great in ring and a good heel. But up until recently has been a lower card jobber which is unfortunate. If TH2 don't break out in 2021 they probably never will in AEW especially as the tag division is stacked"

[5.0] "A good high flyer who is the worse out of the two in his tag team. Biggest flaw is that there is a lack of well crafted storytelling in his matches with his "spot monkey" type wrestling. Hasn't had a lot of moments in the AEW tag division as they're just super oversaturated with tag talent."

[8.0] "Angelico is super versatile and super underrated. He can play the underdog well as his Lucha Underground run showed but he can also be an extremely slapworthy heel as he shows in TH2. Can put on great technical matches with that llave style, can do high flying, sells well and can put a match together in singles and tag. Should AEW put the belts on TH2? No, but at Impact, MLW, ROH etc there is no reason why you couldn't out a belt on TH2 and Angelico in particular."

[5.0] "I guess Angelico is OK in small doses, specially when he does his spot and leaves while others get into the spotlight. Other than that, I don't think there's too much to him. He's not an impressive high flyer, not even close to being the best technician around, not a great seller, not someone who you can count on dictating the pace of a match. Occasionally, he would take a shot on some interesting, risky spot, but even those are few and far between nowadays. As harsh as it may sound, Angelico never really feels irreplaceable, even in his most famous runs, those being as part of Lucha Underground's trios division and AEW's tag team division. Lucky for him, the far more talented Jack Evans seems to be just fine tagging up with him forever and doing most of the in-ring work."

[5.0] "His Lucha Underground run isn't terrible but man, he has provided nothing to AEW and honestly, I might be a little biased because I think he's wasting Jack Evans biggest and possibly last chance at mainstream exposure."

[6.0] "Angelico is a wrestler who can do many very impressive things, but at the same time his singles match is very boring, and he is not very charismatic. But he usually does well in multi-man matches, and his tag matches with Jack Evans are fun, and they manage to cover up some of his flaws."

[5.0] "He's been very mediocre in AEW. Whether that's due to a lack of interest or possibly age his performance in AEW has been lackluster at best in comparison to his performance in prior promotions. His team with Jack Evans has been quickly overshadowed by other teams in the promotion, like Private Party and the Lucha Brothers. He's also clearly been the weak link on the team."

[8.0] "Really won me over in Lucha Underground when he was working with Son of Havoc & Ivelisse -- that trio really came together very well. Add to that that he did some pretty spectacular things in the ring & he's a joy to watch. I like the team of him & Evans moving forward, but I hope AEW does more to legitimize them as a solid team. Perhaps give them a team name & tell us why they are together?"

[8.0] "Great overall wrestler but a hella overrated flyer. The man is considered one of the best flyers in the world off of 1 spot which is hilarious. Doesn't take away from his being smooth as hell in the ring though"

[8.0] "This high flyer will leave you breathless, everything he attempts he makes look easy. This guy is incredible to watch and everyone should be familiar with him dive in the Ladder match in Lucha Underground. Don't think he is all flips and no substance though as you'll make yourself look silly."

[10.0] "Angelico is beyond good, he's amazing. Here's one of the only true wrestlers that plays to his body type that isn't short or huge. He's fun and refreshing to watch because he's a change of pace in Lucha Underground, hard striking to add to insane athletic ability that stacks up not quite to Son of Havoc but somebody like King Cuerno."

[9.0] "In ring, this guy is amazing. His theatrics and daredevil style make him stand out in a world where everyone is trying top the last great spot. I just don't know if he can talk."

[8.0] "Looks a bit awkward physically with his height and slight build but otherwise is easily one of my favorite wrestlers working today. I would need to see how he can handle crowds as large as wee before I could rate him too highly since its ultimately crowd connection and ability to draw money that true my define the success of a wrestler... But I definitely would like to see angelico get his shot to prove himself"

[8.0] "This guy has made a lot of people sit up and take notice with his gravity-defying dropkicks but he also looks fairly solid on the mat. His daredevil feats are even more impressive with his 6ft3 frame, and I hate to say it but, if he put a bit more bulk on then Trips and Stef might just come a-calling."

[9.0] "Simply awesome! Angelico has some of the coolest move sets and does the craziest moves known to pro wrestling, from jumping from high places to flying across the ring, Angelico is awesome!"

[9.0] "Angelico is not really your typical wrestling babyface in Lucha Underground in the sense that because he looks like a heart throb, he has this aura of cockiness and swagger about him especially when it comes to the ladies like Ivelisse which I like that aspect about him. His look is unique when he comes down to the ring too cause he looks like he could've been a BMX rider in the past. Of course Angelico has amazing ability and agility in the ring as well. Angelico is also very ballsy as we came to find out on the Trios titles episode of Lucha Underground when he did a flying crossbody off of Dario Cueto's office cementing an awesome moment not just in Lucha Underground history but in Angelico's career! He's very tall as well for a high flying wrestler like himself which is also impressive! He's like the equivalent of Alex Wright when it comes to height and size, just has a very different wrestling style than Wright had."

[7.0] "South African star who has thus far made his career primarily in Mexico, and is now getting a shot north of the border in Lucha Underground. Much taller than your average luchador, which adds some interest to his ring style as he likes using kicks and his height can play into ring positioning. Capable of some very impressive high-flying moves as well. Hasn't really had any mic time yet, but through his mannerisms he displays a somewhat RVD-like laid-back cockiness. Definitely one of the interesting new faces introduced by LU to the US scene."

[6.0] "Lucha Libre style. Angelico makes 1001 jumps and moves, but he can't tell a story or sell damage. As I said, these luchadores need to learn from American style."

[7.0] "A great junior heavyweight who can be the next big thing to come out of South Africa (even bigger than Justin Gabriel)."
