Probably most notable for featuring a very green RVD, who actually looked pretty good here as the spunky young kid who got in a decent amount of high flying offense. The Blonds looked great as well, and this was a really entertaining WCW Pro main event. ***"

[10.0] "After putting on a solid underated match against Vince McMahon the year before, Shawn puts on the first of his four phenomenal matches in a row at WrestleMania, starting with John Cena for the WWE Championship. John had a pretty solid match with Triple H the year prior, but this match really helped to show why he was the WWE champion. I understand Shawn was easily the better preformer but John really holds his own for the entire time alongside Shawn. I think one of my favorite moments of the match is Shawn with the crimson mask tuning up the band and taking a mean close line from Cena. I almost wanted to say that winning on the STFU would be lame, but then John locked it in way more viciously and vilely than he did against Triple H, and you truly believe Shawn or any man would tap out to that move. Good lord, that pile driver was nasty. John actually looks like he dies after taking it, makes you really wince. Also, Poor Mike Chioda, man, that guy takes and sells the hell out of a wicked Sweet Chin Music."

[6.0] "Not that it's bad here, but I didn't see anything special in this match, Kendal Grey is incredible as always and even though I expected the title to change, I didn't think Lola would win. OK match [***1/4]."

[5.0] "This was a slog to sit through, just way too long for what it was. This was also the weird period where Austin was a heel teaming up with Triple H, and that just never felt right. The match picked up near the end, and the crowd seemed into it, but this wasn't even close to the best work from any of these guys. **1/2"

[5.0] "That was disappointing match for what I expected, unfortunately. But don't get me wrong you're gonna see the good stuff, but the structure wasn't good honestly. 17 minutes is a fine length but they didn't exploit it well in my opinion, they had a better match in them than this, without a doubt. **3/4"

[7.0] "Enjoyable match between B3CCA and Maggie Lee with Maggie getting to challenge again for the title she lost. Good showings from both wrestlers who exhibited good chemistry together. A good win for B3CCA to keep her title reign going."

[7.0] "This had a hot crowd and you got to see great stuff from all four guys. Everyone in this match has got a great dropkick and tilt a whirl backbreaker. No lulls in the action here."

[8.0] "This match was very chaotic and it was fun watch to watch. Just non-stop fast pace action. The match didn't even start yet and all eight started to brawl in the crowd. Akira jumped off the ladder onto the Death Riders, that was insane. I hated the amount of times the Death Riders did that rapid corner move thing, it was getting annoying very fast. Claudio is so freaking strong it's scary, the way it lifting Henare into a suplex was showing his amazing strength, then he put him through a table. Moxley delivered a devastating pile-driver to Ospreay, which made me cringe and angry at the same time. Callum delivered a stiff side kick to Claudio. I hated the stomp that Moxley gave Ospreay while in the submission by Garcia, cause again, he just came back from freaking neck surgery. The height Callum got when jumping from the top rope onto the floor to stomp PAC through the table was just insane. Moxley spamming paradigm shifts on Ospreay pissed me off. The hidden blade through the table was a great way to conclude this chaotic match, shocked Ospreay pinned Moxley."

[9.0] "Pretty great title match for these two women, not as good as the strap match of course but I had a lot of fun with this one."

[8.0] "I think there was probably something better possible between them with the right stipulation, but I guess this is the best we'll get until Toni eventually returns. I thought it was a pretty excellent match, not the greatest ever but there's a whole lot of fun stuff in here."

[5.0] "This was pretty solid for most of the way with Chris putting forth a nice effort as more of the fan favorite against Kody who has continued more of his villain like shift. A tainted win for Kody to set up the rematch between Kody and Christian Rose for the title with Christian's DREAMWAVE tenure on the line."

[6.0] "The pacing of the whole match was pretty good considering who was in the ring, but the heels were in control too much. Even though it wasn't bad, I'd still like to see more offense from Bird & Nao."

Both were in the match where Laynie won the WWE ID Women's Title and Laynie also defended the title against Airica in their first singles match. That match was a bit stronger than this one but this was still a solid match between two wrestlers that continue to show their promise."

[5.0] "A fine match between Christian Rose and Deimos in a match between two powerhouses. An effective bounce back for Christian following his loss to Kody Lane at the previous show."

[9.0] "Great match that I just admit I didn't have Newman going over on but I didn't hate it. Newman may be the future of the company because my word has the guy improved over the past few months since his Match against Goto at Dontaku. Hard hitting match with great sorry telling between Ospreay and Newman with the refusal of the chair. Great start to the reign of Newman, not the greatest match I've ever seen but it didn't have to be. These two had an absolute power struggle of a match and propelled Newman to a new face of NJPW. ****(3/4) - Stars"

[5.0] "I didn't really like it, I got pretty bored at certain points during the match. Marfuji wrestling two 15-minute matches in 2026 on a single show isn't something that's likely to work out, and the same can probably be said for Takagi. Although there were more interesting moments"

[8.0] "It was a pretty interesting BR for me, even though I'm not usually a big fan of the match format, but there were a few great moments, and pretty much every wrestler, maybe except Megaton got a pretty significant opportunity to showcase their skills. Maybe the execution wasn't perfect, but it was cool and fun to watch the match"

[6.0] "It was a pretty decent match. I wasn't expecting anything spectacular here, I expected it to be a short match where Miyu would easily dominate her opponent, but Shino did a pretty good job as the underdog and had a few nice moments where she tried to make a comeback"

[5.0] "It may not have been the best match technically, but at least there were moments when it was pretty funny to see things go wrong. It may not have been a comedy, but I did have a good laugh."

[4.0] "Extremely boring and sloppy and cliche and pretty unmotivated at times. Apuestas match but you would never know, ref bumps, interferences, just not it. I was grateful for the two ric flair bumps in the match for giving me some sort of dopamine during this. I dont tend to enjoy Kane or triple h so I dont know what I was expecting here. And it's a 2003 raw match. No considerable factors here. I will try to avoid another singles match between these two lmao"

[7.0] "A pretty enjoyable opening Tag Title defense for The Hype against Hidden Gems. Good showings by all four. I felt the tag rules could have been enforced a little more near the end but a pretty good first defense for The Hype to start their reign with. 6.5-7"

[8.0] "A good main event, probably the best preview match they've done so far, featuring the HATE vs. CA (Kurara) + STARS (Hanan) matchup. Very solid action, I liked the flow of the whole match with its great pace. The only thing I didn't like was that Saya pinned Kurara yet again. It's a pretty typical pattern in joshi wrestling for the Champion to pin the Contender or vice versa in preview matches, but with Saya, she really goes all out to geek her opponents as hard as she can, which never looks good."

[6.0] "Okay match, a preview of BMI 2000 vs. 02line. Same old formula as always in HATE matches, boring heel control with a chair spot right at the start of the match, but it didn't look bad once they got back in the ring, NG set a fast pace which HATE adapted to pretty well, and some of the sequences looked pretty solid"

[7.0] "A really cool high-speed tag team match. A preview of two matches: Fuwa vs. Saori and Poi vs. Maki, another dose of pretty good wrestling in these rivalries"

[7.0] "It was really the same pattern as in the previous semifinal, the typical structure of a Sendai match. Grappling > simple exchanges > the finish. Imo it worked out a little better here than in the previous match. The pace was more balanced, and the finish itself was much more exciting."

[6.0] "An okay match, the match was what I'd call a typical Sendai-style match, especially in the early card. So they started with some slow grappling and gradually picked up the pace, the finish was cool. But overall the grappling and the forearm exchanges didn't really win me over."

[8.0] "This match was all about the fun factor. It was a really cool surprise to see Nanae appear. The only shame was that they muted the theme song."

[6.0] "Somehow we ended up back at that same old preview, and somehow it didn't look too bad, it's probably one of the best match previews they've ever done. The fact that it only lasted 7 minutes probably helped."

[8.0] "This was pretty good, Izzi I think she isn't on the level of the top women in NXT but I think she is getting there, this was big win for her, it seems she is going to challenge Lola for her title, and this continues the feud of Sol and Zara for their LWS match for NXT Revenge"

[10.0] "A fantastic clash that stylistically shouldn't have meshed as well as a it did. The hot start and the back and forth finishing stretch are so good, but my favorite is probably the middle with all the smaller spots like Rock's insane dragon screw to set up the sharpshooter, the bear hug into gator roll from Brock, and Rock shining the post up real nice before he catapults Brock into it (which got huge air). Just a wonderful torch pass in which Rock perfectly worked around the crowd being ready for him to do so."

I was expecting a technical match but this was still amazing. the spots were on point. maybe they could've benefited with 2/3 more minutes but they still delivered. this is also easily recognised as an AEW match type, that's usually harder to watch due to attention, but the non stop action made it easier"

[6.0] "The match was fine but it was more or less just there to set up the post match angle. The Moxley/Omega segment outside the ring was more entertaining than the match to be honest. Fine but there were better matches earlier. ***"

[6.0] "John Cena has not yet ascended to the top of the card, but Brock has, so this was kind of one-sided. But Borck does get a little bit of color. I didn't hate this, but it was fine for what it was supposed to be..."

[7.0] "This wasn't entirely clean but for the most part I thought Nyla played the big monster and Riho the resilient babyface well. Some cool spots and an invested crowd with an upset win. Good fun. ***1/2"

[8.0] "An electric finishing stretch really elevates this match. Nakajima gets his kick in and Hayashi hits Suwama with two big power moves and the crowd pops big time for everything."

[9.0] "Incredible match. Negro casas does a amazing job at attacking mistico's leg, and mistico does a good job selling as well. They used the Best 2 out of 3 falls to their advantage to build up to the last fall. No complaints just what wrestling should be"

[8.0] "This had really fun dynamics, both with Syuri going against the students, but also Saki's battle and Nanae's involvement. It was short but enjoyable."

[6.0] "With a better finish this could have scored higher but the ref stoppage was a bit anticlimactic. PAC's pacing was also surprisingly slow while Page was keeping the pace up. Good match but could've been better. ***1/4"

[2.0] "Well, you got your main event match for Roman, Vince. Hopefully Vince enjoyed it, but almost no one else did. This match was SOOO boring, oh my god. I don't know why I even watched this match, but I did. Not gonna give it a 1 or 0 since there were no injuries or major botches, but just a boring, slow, and long match that NO ONE wanted to see."

[10.0] "Aja Kong's one of the great ones, and this is a prime example of why. Does a fantastic job putting over Kyoko, while looking unbelievably awesome herself. Trust me when I say you HAVE to watch this. 5*"

[10.0] "There is no way this match deserved anything but 5 stars. I love HBK vs Taker, but this is simply the best Wrestlemania Match ever. With a personal feud, gritty and hard-hitting action, and one of the best and most iconic finishes ever, this match was nothing short of spectacular. A match that would define both men's careers going forward, and one of, if not the best, match in WWE history."

[3.0] "Jasper Troy and Josh Briggs are not good... Keanu Carver, on the other hand, we have something with him, but this match was touted to be a Heavyweight Battle of the Ages with the promotion it got from NXT, but it was just a very underwhelming match, that carried not a lot of substance in my opinion. But the right winner won in Keanu Carver, and we saw him eyeing the NXT Title walking past Tony D'Angelo before this year is over. I would like Keanu Carver to hold either the WWE NXT North American Title or the NXT World Title."

[7.0] "Not a lot of energy at the outset of the match as far as crowd reaction goes, but this match has nice spots utilizing the size differential between Suzuki and RO'Z."

[] "Really, really underwhelming match here. I was so excited to see this start when I was watching live & was not satisfied when it concluded. Wish this was better because I love all 3 of these guys facing each other."

[6.0] "This was okay, but I must say Tatum Paxley is someone who knows how to be creative and innovative offensively, which is something people see and become fans of her. But this match was cool, Blake Monroe got her own custom-made WWE NXT Women's North American Title thanks to Vanity Project, but this was an okay Main Event, Jackson Drake & Blake Monroe defeating Shiloh Hill & Tatum Paxley is the right call if they. They are furthering the feud, but the idea of Blake Monroe getting help from Vanity Project is great. I really like that a lot, and then it will benefit both the group & wrestlers tremendously."

[6.0] "This was very much okay. What I'm getting is next week, or with this two-week event of NXT Revenge, these are going to be Ethan Page, Joe Hendry, and Ricky Saints' last time in NXT as they go to the Main Roster, which is why a WWE Draft is essential. But DarkState, I sense a collapse with Saquon Shugars leaving being the breakout star, which everyone knows is inevitable, because in DPW, this man, when he went by Lucky Ali, was a big-time star within that promotion. He possesses charisma, great in-ring ability, and can be a tremendous heel. But as I said, with the direction of DarkState, it's only time before he leaves the group."

[7.0] "A pretty standard, yet always exciting, Arena Mexico main event. 3 best tecnicos vs the 3 best rudos. I guess the biggest takeaway was that Mascara Dorada's mask had the mouth hole open, which I have never seen before."

[3.0] "Barbarian and Warlord did not click for me as a face team and their skills did not really help that. The match was not really spectacular, but at least the finish looked pretty cool so I will give it that. Still, now it is three very underwhelming matches in a row and the positive feelings from the decent opener are gone."

[2.0] "The match itself was not exciting and I was not interested in watching at all. Then we get to the finish with a face Jake Roberts running in, causing the DQ because he cannot control himself. Weird finish."

[9.0] "One of the most iconic matches in WWE history, and the match that made Edge the biggest heel of the last 2000's. From tacks to blood, to barbed wire, and of course the flaming table, this was probably the most violent match in WrestleMania history. Was this a technical classic? Hell no. Was it fucking awesome? Hell yeah."

[7.0] "This was a really good match. It was a chaotic and wild brawling-type match for the vacant championship. Yamada was the worker of the match, but Jungle Jack came out on top."

[6.0] "A Shino Suzuki classic where she shows guts, gets beaten up, and gets a couple hope spots in before the inevitable. Additionally, I very much enjoyed how she managed to garner sympathy from the crowd. The match is led by Miyu with a dominant veteran performance. Just a wonderful slice of digestible hierarchy at work. ***"

[7.0] "I thought this was pretty solid, Mercedes is somewhat limited in her age and Alexis gave it her all."

[7.0] "This was good, and actually involved a surprisng amount of storytelling with visible emotion. Enjoyed it"

[7.0] "Way too damn long and not really worked like it was Unsanctioned; outside of a bladejob from both guys (only Hunter's goes anywhere) this is every No DQ plunder match you're likely to see. There's some great spots in here (the splash through the table rules), I love seeing the crowd come up every time Shawn brings the old stuff back after nearly five years away, and HHH does some good stoogy bumps after he bleeds but there's just too much stuff for the sake of stuff and the finish was kinda lame (I feel like that gnarly post-match hammer shot would've been the finish if Shawn wasn't going over). Why is there a full minute of Hebner dressing down HHH in a match that has no rules and isn't technically under company purview in-kayfabe? ***1/2"

[6.0] "Very decent opening to the show, I did not expect it. I have to say that it was a bit too long for what it was and it kind of dragged towards the halfway point. It got more exciting towards the end though and a time limit draw is not what I thought would happen."

[6.0] "Match is largely structured to spotlight the hometown girl Mifu; only the middle chunk is more reserved to give Arai her part, with Uta and Mizuki's dynamic providing more personality and dimension, helping shape the match. ***"

[6.0] "A familiar standard layout for a tag match. When Haru and Suzume were not up against Yamashita, they were the ones depicted being a step ahead. Pleasantly surprised to see Kira be the one to fall victim to a control segment; I thought it'd be Haru. Furthermore, Kira's and Suzume's 1v1 stretch I highly enjoyed. There's a spot that popped me where Haru took a running clothesline from Miyu. I don't even think she made an effort to bump for it; she sort of just braced for impact and fell from its sheer force. ***"

[5.0] "A TJPW house show-style match with the body of it being a showcase of everyone getting their stuff in, but seeing Ren get some offense in on Miu before Miu switched into dominant powerhouse mode was super neat. One thing I really enjoyed from a logical throughline is how after Toga, Aino, and Ren were able to hoodwink the opposite team into continuously misfiring on one another in the initial portion, the hierarchy quickly becomes apparent once they let the rookie Ren start the match as she inevitably shortly after falls victim to a control segment. **3/4"

[5.0] "I enjoyed the overlap, keeping in the theme of being manipulative with Misao briefly getting Raku to turn against Mahiro. In terms of the action, I enjoyed how KyoKyo was portrayed as the more well-oiled team, as they were for the most part one step ahead even when it appeared Raku and Mahiro had just gained the upper hand. That is most apparent when working in tandem, as not only did Raku work against Mahiro, but later there was a misfire. The uneven control segment of KyoKyo did take things down a notch for me with them suddenly dropping the limb work. **1/2"

[5.0] "The initial portion is a Pom showcase with her ingenious mind games managing to manipulate Yuki into turning this into a handicap match with HIMAWARI having to fight off the odds. From an action standpoint, this actually becomes super solid with everyone turning in a good shift, but HIMAWARI in particular was the highlight for me. Her princess drop on Pom was super sick. Additionally, Yuki continues to stiff Pom with her big boot, which is just awesome. **3/4"

[3.0] "Sakura's character-driven gesturing and the early sort of nonchalance and looseness of her repertoire have become especially apparent when she sends Chika into the ropes, just doesn't allow me to fully immerse myself in the action, though as the match unfolds, her work becomes much tighter. Chika's hoss dynamic added a lot to the match. *3/4"

[7.0] "This was a really good match. The crowd was really into this. It was an exciting tag team bout that is worth a recommendation. Both tag teams did really well."

[7.0] "Very good match, they really made this feel personal and YOSHI-HASHI put in a really good effort in this big spot against Naito. 3.75 stars"

[2.0] "Wasn't expecting a classic but this was underwhelming and boring - This would be one of Droz last matches because the tragic injury which ends his career"

[9.0] "A very good match. It's a great main event, and it's a match I'd watch a thousand times without hesitation. Honestly, I really enjoyed it; I can't complain. As I've said several times in other reviews, I'm not a Kenny Omega fan, not because he's bad, I just don't connect with him, but without a doubt, he's a genius, as is Strickland, another genius."

[4.0] "No, just no. Iyo being used to further the Rhea and Jade stuff is so dumb. She's the best wrestler you have, not a mid card cheerleader for Rhea. The match wasn't good either. B-Fab moves so poorly and Iyo had to tone it down a ton for her. Michin is fine but it didn't save this."

[8.0] "I thought this was a VERY fun match. Pretty much just a quick spotfest that was done to set up Rey Mysterio's return after the match. I don't like that Petee Dunne and Tyler Bate are being put into this position but at least they're putting in good performances still."

[6.0] "Senka and Seri starting was good, then the three way fighting with YUNA was among the best stuff in the entire match. The middle was quite long and had decent wrestling with some comedy mixed in but wasn't anything special. Megaton comes in last and everybody immediately tosses her out in a fun moment. YUNA and Senka face off as the last two with a strong few minutes to end this on a high note. YUNA wins, which is nice for her. Overall this was a solid rumble. 6/10"

[6.0] "I thought this was pretty decent! By no means anything special but I thought it was solid. I wish it got more time, but they did fine with what they had. Lash looked good as usual, and I'm glad that Bayley actually won this. Her booking has been very poor for a while now."

[8.0] "Don't really understand the low rating for this one. Sure the ending sucked but this was still a pretty good contest. Muta had the crowd in the palm of his hand, and everything he did electrified them even more. Steve Austin is, well..... Steve Austin, so obviously he's great here too."

[5.0] "Well it was fine. It was done to set up the WrestleMania match between the Usos and La Knight against The Vision and Ishowspeed and that's exactly what happened. I really do not have much to say about this. Nothing stood out here, but the match wasn't bad."

[8.0] "They did a great job of following the excellent Toyota vs. Yamada match. The matwork and technique was impressive, especially on Hokuto's part. But, I don't think I can really say they exceeded the Toyota vs. Yamada match. Once the match slowed down, they were never able to pick up the pace enough to call this a MOTYC."

[6.0] "An entertaining brawl featuring the surprise return of Mance Warner to GCW following leaving TNA. Some good action between the six without getting overly visceral, perhaps due to venue limitations (although Atticus did take some skewers.) A nice reunion for the Second Gear Crew while continuing Effy's issues and keeping VNDL48 strong. 5.5-6"

[9.0] "A beautifully told story and a superb wrestling match made for a fantastic finale at Fire Festival 2008 between Togi Makabe and Masato Tanaka. Makabe, established as the top heel of New Japan, invades ZERO1. He's brutal, aggressive, and cheats, his entire persona designed to portray Tanaka as the hero, Z1's last line of defense, and it works. Tanaka nearly loses on numerous occasions, falling victim to the underhanded tactics of Makabe and his allies. The match even descends into a bloodbath, making the confrontation all the more brutal.
