Manabu Soya vs. Shotaro Ashino

[7.0] "Ashino's submission game was excellent here but I'm so lost on why they chose this finish. He literally worked on Soya's arm the entire match! And he passes out on a leg lock? He didn't even pass out his arm was still up. Unfortunately think they went too long and rushed the finish because they were exhausted. But this had great visuals with them chopping and slapping the sweat off of each other! ***1/2"

[8.0] "Really great match that kicked into gear late on but was just too long to top their previous encounter, Ashino continues to be one of the absolute best.... in the world really, he is fantastic and I love Manabu Soya at the moment too. ****"

[7.0] "Pretty good match. Thought they had some nifty submission sequences and their suplexes were sublime. Unfortunately they went way too long and the crowd being heatless didn't help and as good as the technical work by Ashino was, he spent the entire match attack the arm and won using a leg submission. WTF. I prefer their march match bh. ***1/2"

[9.0] "The conclusion to an epic trilogy, even though this will probably not be the end of their great series of matches. Ashino and Soya are the two most charismatic and talented wrestlers on Wrestle-1's roster today, and are a big reason why the promotion is so interesting right now. They always provide a spectacle for the fans. A match truly deserving of its place as the main event of the promotion's biggest annual show."
