Now, Perry earned the title after valiantly fighting off five people who were targeting him specifically. How exactly is he the bad guy here? I'd consider this an above average multi-man ladder match, mostly because it wasn't heavy on contrivances and they kept a good pace. Takeshita and Perry were the highlights of the match, especially Takeshita's Blue Thunder Bomb to ELP through the two tables ringside. On that note, I am happy with ELP's level of involvement in the match as well. |

I've got my issues with Perry's Scapegoat gimmick, especially in relation to the overarching Elite storyline, but he definitely deserved the win here. Takeshita was MVP though, an absolute beast. |
| 48 | 09.12.2024 | Screaming Enigma | 8.0 | Another fun match on the show, although I do kind of have a similar complaint about this match that I had about the previous one, in that it doesn't really feel that much like a "Forbidden Door" match. The only person who's not really with AEW in here was Phantasmo. Everyone else was either signed with AEW/ROH, or competing fairly regularly for them (I can't remember Lio Rush's contract status at the time, so he may have been not signed either. I don't really remember since it's almost been six months since this actually happened.). That aside, however, this was a really fun match. |

Takeshita was beating up everyone, Mark having an amazing time, Dante and Lio being high flying professionals, and ELP doing everything and anything he wanted. Overall a really solid ladder match. |

| 59 | 20.10.2024 | FelipeTalksGraps | 7.0 | [3.5*] This was the modern day classic ladder match, with the advantage of being on AEW where they can do a lot more of ridiculously crazy stuff but with a worse production too. So it is a win and a loss. At the end of the day, I thought this had the same level of the other modern ladder matches. I loved the big spots, needless to say of how fucking amazing that Blue Thunder Bomb from Takeshita on ELP was, and Mark Briscoe was the MVP there (I felt so bad for him for the botch on the Perry spot), but I thought it never reached the 8/10 levels especially outside of the top spots. It was still a pretty good time. |

| 69 | 30.09.2024 | JoKu2311 | 7.0 | We saw a solid multi-man ladder match as was to be expected lots of cool spots and I had a fun time. Jack Perry as the winner was predictable as hell, because who else would have made sense as the winner? I see where they are trying to go with Perry but for me he is not really the one for this spot. I am not really convinced of him in this position yet. |

| 84 | 05.09.2024 | danzitorock | 7.0 | I was very hyped for this match, and I thought it would be a match of the event contender, considering the insane names and more importantly names suited for this stipulation, and this was indeed great, but I was expecting more, Mark Briscoe was the better wrestler of the match as expected, and the match had awesome spots, but I was expecting more spots, more craziness, and more emotion, the focus wasn't on the prize, it was on the spots, there wasn't a single moment where I thought someone was winning the match, expect at the end where Jack predictably won, and that's unfortunate. There was only really good thing here though, every time they were building a spot, it made the audience feel like some dangerous stuff is coming, and that's how it's supposed to be - {***1/2} |

| 96 | 23.08.2024 | TokyoHeights | 8.0 | Very, very fun ladder match which felt dangerous and unpredictable at most times. The spots were raw and violent with my standouts being Briscoe's Tope Atomico, Takeshita's Blue Thunder Bomb and the piledriver on the ladder. Had some minor gripes with certain spots where wrestlers looked like dumbasses for acting the way they did, but such is the nature of ladder matches and as such, I have a higher threshold on turning a blind eye to such spots. One unfortunate thing is that Dante Martin completely stopped selling his knee for the rest of the match after the knee injury spot. Konosuke Takeshita is an absolute star and would've been a very worthy winner after the way he won over the crowd, but having Jack Perry take out the crowd favorite in Jay Briscoe (who also had an incredible showing) was great heat and an ending I was satisfied with. A decent 8. |
