[7.0] "This was a really good trios match here; what a lineup of talent. I liked the Elite singling out Garcia during this match. Matt Jackson doing his own commentary for a bit was great. The Elite stand tall at the end of this one, and I was left excited to see Okada and Pac face off at Dynasty."
[7.0] "A super solid Trios Match that, somewhat, acted as a preview for PAC vs Okada at Dynasty. Aside from that, this was fun. Matthew talking with a microphone at one point was pretty funny. I don't know why Garcia and Penta teamed with PAC, though. I get Penta because of their history in Death Triangle, but I can't remember why Garcia was on the team. The match was fun either way, though."
[8.0] "This rocked. The Bucks are doing some of the best work of their career in this douche EVP gimmick, its a joy to watch Okada easily adapt to American television. Everyone involved looked great."
[8.0] "This match was great. Here are my favorite moments of this match. I loved when Matt started doing commentary. Mid-Match and hearing the rest of commentary's response to it. Garcia took a massive beating in this match. Pac is a madman. This made me more excited for their match for the Continental Championship. Penta looked good as always. Okada has adjusted really well to wrestling weekly on American TV. The bucks were big on their heel stuff tonight. Which is them at their best. This is the best they've been in a long time."
[7.0] "This was a very good match. The parts with the Bucks were particularly good, while Okada and PAC felt like they were holding back a bit for Sunday."
[8.0] "This was a really good match: the Bucks and Okada's character work is simply fantastic and the whole commentary shtick by Nicholas was hilarious. Wrestling wise, this was really enjoyable. The action was fast-paced and fun with the babyface team delivering a good perfomance. Pac's hot tag was great and him and Okada going face-to-face felt important. The crowd was really into the whole match. Loved the superkick/rainmaker combo at the end. 8/10 - 4*/5*"
[8.0] "Would be hard to disagree with anybody who had this as their match of the night. So many great spots in this match and super hard-hitting action. It lost me a little when the elite grabbed the mic in the middle of the match. It was funny but it didn't really work for me."
[8.0] "Really enjoyable trios match that incorporated character work/comedy from the Bucks/Okada while still exhibiting their abilities in the ring. The format felt like an old-fashioned multi-man PWG match (in a good way! ), and the losing trio still got lots of chances to shine. That's especially important for PAC who has a big match against Okada on Sunday, and the Bucks/Okada did a nice job of "avoiding" fair fights with PAC in this match (i.e., telling the audience he's good enough that they're afraid of him). The superkicks/Rainmaker finisher looked awesome, and credit should be given to Daniel Garcia for selling the impact well. One small detail that I really liked: both of the Bucks threw left-handed whiffs to sell the fluidity of Penta's sling blades. It's not something that most guys do, and I thought it was a really clever way to make the opponent look slightly less choregraphed in eating the sling blade."
[8.0] "Fun trios with everyone looking good. The microphone spot paid off with Garcia's suplex. PAC's hot tag was excellent, so was Garcia's towards the end. He also sold the Rainmaker brilliantly."
[7.0] "Actually a very fun match after the opener which was pretty disappointing, it was nothing extraordinary but I saw myself three years earlier at the Daily's Place when AEW used to give us six-man tag matches with The Elite every week and it was a blast every time. It was the same here, very entertaining action with a hilarious Matthew Jackson on the mic. Everyone got to shine and the result was logical."
[7.0] "Very entertaining match. Flew by, and was chock full of character work from the heels and a bit from the good guys as well, particularly Danny. All of these guys had very easy chemistry with each other, as expected. Bucks and Okada are completely at home as heels, Garcia is a good babyface, and the crowd always loves Pac regardless of "alignment". Matt was the star of the match for me, the whole bit with him and the mic was pretty damn funny, and gave Garcia a great moment to get some babyface fire. Wasn't the most spectacular in ring work, but didn't need to be."
[8.0] "Very standard Bucks match, by which I mean, "pretty damn good". I mentioned in my review of the Ospreay match that went on later tonight that AEW really excels at the "throw some insanely talented men in the ring, give them fifteen minutes, and they'll give you magic" formula, and, well, the Elite definitely didn't disappoint tonight (but then again, how could they? ). Special props goes to not only Matthew Jackson for the doing the classic Booker T "calling his own match" spot, but the TNA social media guy being, as always, incredibly quick on the button to do the "we did it too" joke (which I adore, by the way). That said, yeah, Penta did feel a bit out-of-place tonight, didn't he? I can't be too hard on the guy because he's still putting in the effort, but it's still one of those things which knocks a "very" off the phrase "very very good"."
[5.0] "Pleasantly surprised by this match. I don't watch alot of trios matches but this has some nice names in the card, PAC and Okada being the most stand out. Penta's main event last week was pretty nice as well, Bucks although being kind of washed can produce something and I didn't care for Garcia going. However Garcia really worked his ass off here which I'm really glad as he seemed to be slid in as the third man for the other side. Unfortunately Penta was the one who got this role although he did still get some cool moments. And PAC looked excellent in this, it sincerely made me want to switch on one of his matches. The Bucks did better than I expected, I like the microphone bit from Matthew. But I am kind of mixed on Okada in this match. Honestly think he should have been furious at Garcia for most of it, I think he should have stomped him a bit more. Although I will say that the stiff Rainmaker at the end did fulfill this, its just that for most of the match I couldn't help but think that Okada probably should have been destroying the other team without The Bucks for a little bit more."
[7.0] "Quite the solid trios match here, saw some comparisons to Road To show tags in terms of Okada's work here and I'd agree but in a good way. This was more about establishing The Elite's heelish ways more while giving PAC a hot tag to look good before the PPV. Garcia had a great little segment of running wild here after getting a mid-match promo cut on him (great bit) before he got cut off HARD, and he ate a really stiff Rainmaker for the finish which anybody would reasonably get put away by. PAC's aforementioned hot tag is really great, and his interactions with Okada rule, they really sold the match here. Penta continues to just kind of be there and lose despite a few cool spots, PLEASE turn this man heel. ***1/2"
[8.0] "Best Young Bucks match since Sting's retirement. Matt and Okada were especially great as over the top heels here. There was an old school dynamic with the live crowd, as they popped for everything the faces did but didn't react so much when the heels were in control. On the downside, I didn't love that Okada took a significant amount of offense, as he really should be made to look unbeatable right now. This did a very good job of building towards PAC vs Okada, although there was a missed opportunity for FTR to make the save after the match to build the Bucks against FTR. ****"
