[7.0] "The worst C2 match of the night for me, but that's not anyone's fault, it's simply because the two matches before the main event were absolute amazing. They got a few good moments throughout the match but nowhere near the best performance in neither men's catalogue. Eddie's selling was really good towards the end of it and him winning is awesome and popped me hard back then."
[8.0] "Sad to look back at this and think "wow this was the last great match from Andrade at AEW" but okay, I'm fine that it was so good like it was here. Eddie winning was something that I popped a lot, even knowing that he was the winner before watching lmao. I'm a pro wrestling fan, what can I say about this?"
[6.0] "[3.0*] My least favorite C2 match from last night but was still very fun. There were a couple of things missing but it was very fine for what it was. Andrade had a great C2."
[7.0] "The worst tournament match of the night, but still good. Eddie and Andrade showed some stiff moves, Andrade is really good, hate to say that because I consider the guy problematic to AEW environment, but the man is a star. This had very interesting sequences and ended the first stage of the Continental Classic on a high note - {***1/4}"
[5.0] "Everything here was solid but nothing great and the flat out of nowhere finish just made it a bit worse. This never fully comes together the way that Id like. Its perhaps a little too slow to get going at the start, and when it does finally begin into settle into what it would become, it feels like a lesser version of similar things wed already seen previously. Andrade attacking Eddies leg isnt quite as exhilarating as his attack on Dragons eye, Eddies leg selling here doesnt feel nearly as momentous as against Garcia."
[5.0] "Interesting. This tournament has made wonders for Andrade, he now looks like a star, all his offensive moves and strikes were dangerous, Eddie could easily get hurt for real, and that was kinda the story. The begging of the match with the elbow and the palm strike been counter looked good, then Andrade grab very hard with a headlock but when Eddie's power head him up he went for his crossbody to regain control, he still has a lot of tools. Eddie is strong, and his spirit even more, that's why he last this long with the very bests of AEW, Andrade use little tricks to slow him down like using the ropes to send him outside, as well as going for the leg work building up his Figure 4 leg lock. Andrade connected the elbow strike and almost had the match won, i get that Eddie was effective at the end but was kinda flat. **3/4"
[8.0] "A pretty good main event for this edition of Collision and final match for the regular block matches of the Continental Classic. Of course, I love to see Kingston getting the win here and advancing to the Blue League Final. Going into this tournament initially, I thought Kingston would, at least, make it to the Final of the entire tournament considering that his two titles are on the line and it would be kind of lame if there was a scenario where he lost them without being pinned in a particular match for them."
[7.0] "Really good main event altough I was expecting something better from these two: it started really slow and only picked up after the commercial break. Both men's offense looked great and the action was intense and hard-hitting. Andrade's moonsualt and back elbow were things of beauty as usual. Kingston's selling was great, he is really a tremendous underdog. The ending came a bit too all of the sudden but I liked it. Kingston's story in the C2 is almost complete, he overcame the initial odds and now he is in the semifinals where he will have to climb the biggest mountain of them all: beat the man he has never beaten, Bryan Danielson. 7/10 - 3.75*/5*"
[9.0] "A match that delivered high tension, I figured Kingston would probably fight his way into the semi-finals at the last minute but you never know what's going to happen for sure. Andrade put on another really strong showing but Kingston put the heart into the match once again, super fun stuff."
[7.0] "I enjoyed this match. Andrade had some good spots and Kingston kept up well. I thought that they had good chemistry and the pacing of the match was alright but could have been better."
[6.0] "I loved this match mainly due to the way Kingston was selling his leg in this. Eddie was more cautious to start this which allowed Andrade to get an advantage since he was more willing to get aggressive here. Despite all this working against him Eddie ended up pulling out a pretty convincing win here.****"
[7.0] "Not the best match I think these guys can have, but because it was a do or die for Eddie against a guy with an inverted tournament run to him it was a hot main event anyway. Andrade made the people doubt Eddie but Eddie just stayed in it and came out with a sudden but pretty decisive win. Again, not either man's best work at all but it played its part in the tournament and Eddie was OVER here. ***1/2"
[6.0] "The crowd & the commentary were great here, but nothing they did in the ring really spoke of the make or break nature of what was at stake. The finish came out of nowhere and it's way too obvious that Eddie's 'back fists' involve an open palm **3/4"
[7.0] "[4.0*] This match perfectly ends Andrade's tournament, which had (perhaps) the best sequence of fights of his career. The fight was good and engaging with a good ending to the tournament."
[7.0] "match could've ended better! I wanted Andrade to advance, but Eddie did it and he's obviously going to beat Danielson to face Jay White. Andrade's performance was absolutely beautiful in the whole tournament, and he deserves a title on his shoulder. I cannot say if I'm happy with result or not, but it seems like we're going to have a feud between Andrade and Miro, so this result was probable. (***3/4)"
[6.0] "Except for some moment, the match fell off for me. Not the worst of the tournament, but it is somewhere down there. Except for a few good moments, the match itself felt very slow and lacked the emotion from Kingston, as he was only one match away to get into semi-finals after being on the edge the entire block. Plus, I would've liked Andrade in a semi-finals a little bit more."
[8.0] "Another great match with a great clash of styles. Andrade has been working hard in this tournament so fair play to him. Eddie was great as always, loved the finishing stretch. ****"
[6.0] "I thought they were going to strongly tease a draw here with the opening match result and the fact the match started so slow. When the finish came shortly after the 15 minute call it therefore felt quite anticlimactic. Given Kingston's great run and his dramatic comeback in storyline this lacked the drama expected ***"
[7.0] "I dont know, something didnt click with me on this. It was good, but It was quite a methodical affair, which probably just isnt my kind of vibe. I also think this match needed a little longer to sell the drama of Kingston needing the win, there was some great moments near the end, with Andrade bringing out his great as usual back elbow and standing moonsault after the moonsault from the top, and he sold the doubt of if he could beat Kingston well, but yeah, not quite up my alley."
[9.0] "Eddie and Andrade are so good. Their chemistry was off the charts. Eddie gritting his teeth and pushing through for the win was one of my favourite moments of the tournament thus far."
