[2.0] "Oof. After Several great matches on the show all the momentum gets temporarily halted with this one. It was far too short and only really focused on the outcasts story. Saraya shouldn't be a world champion and it felt like for the sake of a cheap hometown pop."

The match itself seemed disjointed to me and I'm just not sold on Saraya and never have been. Her style is certainly not close to graceful, and Storm really had to carry most of this match."

[7.0] "Look, having Saraya get her home country win probably wasn't the best booking decision in the long run but the finish aside I thought this match was fun as fuck. Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida get a good showing and disrupt the dysfunctional Outcasts. Story of the match however was Saraya and Toni Storm absolutely stealing the show. Toni was still in the infancy of her Timeless gimmick here and Saraya still saw herself as the leader of the Outcasts so their inevitable break up is joy to watch. Both trying to get the pin and miscommunicating tandem offense, both play being confused at the others actions so well. Biggest pop of the match was Storm accidentally striking Saraya's mother on the outside which Mother Saraya sold really well and hammered in the split of the Outcasts. This match wasn't a technical masterpiece and hindsight says maybe Toni Storm should've won this but I thought it was really fun"

Would have like to see a longer match, with Shida getting more offence in, but all round it wasn't bad for a four-way, especially as was quite story-driven for a multi-participant match. Saraya winning here was fine for me, especially as they gave up on forcing the narrative of her being a babyface a long time ago. It was a nice moment at Wembley for her, and the involvement of her family gave it that big show feel. It also gives us an open storyline continuation that can go a in few directions, especially as there are doubts as to how long Saraya would be able to hold the belt"

A good chunk of the crowd cheered just because she was English, but anyone who knows of her family probably didn't. Worst part was Shida came in as a popular champion and lost the title for no damn reason. Then wins it back weeks later, because Saraya can't wrestle anymore. The hell was the point. Best part of the match was Shida's entrance and standing on the turnbuckle with the sings behind her. Was damn well magical. She deserves so much better. Oh and the damn audacity to have her come out to Queen, when you didn't book Emi Sakura on the show. That pissed me right off, atleast Emi was treated like the legend she is at EVE the day before."

Despite the slew of stories, they focused on the Saraya vs Toni Storm feud. Boy did that backfire, because those two have terrible chemistry together. I wish they had given the spotlight to Shida in this match because she has proven she can work with all three other women in this match."

I mean, in-ring wise, The Acclaimed vs House Of Black was clearly worse, the thing is that the winner of this match is someone highly hated online. I absolutely do not like Saraya and I hated that she won, but the match itself was not bad and was not the worst of the night in my opinion."

aceofcade111 wrote on 26.08.2024:
[5.0] "Easily the weakest match on the card. The only thing that saves this match is the home crowd win for Saraya, which was a really nice moment for someone who thought their career was over and faced a lot of personal issues over the years. While obviously past her prime due to the ring rust, Saraya's whole life has been in this business so her psychology can pull her through. The infighting between the Outcasts also had it's moments, with Storm hitting Saraya's mom making her flip a switch being the highlight. The biggest negative of this match was the other two competitors in this being a complete afterthought, and one of them is the reigning world champion. Shida deserved better only winning the belt a few weeks earlier, although I am still glad they made the switch here. The finish was the best part of the match, with Bake having Shida locked in the Lockjaw only for Saraya to use spray paint on Storm and hit the Rampage for the 3. This was all about the feel good moment, for better and worse. **3/4"

I enjoyed the conflicts between Toni Storm and Saraya leading up to Toni branching off from The Outcasts. At the time, I was pretty upset about Shida being a mere transitional champion and they gave the championship to Saraya. Almost one year on, I'm not too bothered about it. I don't remember a single defense from hers. Anyway, this match was okay. You'd hope for more though given the circumstances of this show."

Screaming Enigma wrote on 14.07.2024:
[6.0] "The trend continues here of the women having the shortest match on the show. With that said, I think these four tried making the best out of the amount of time that they had. Of course, that Stomp from Britt to Toni was the highlight of the match. Aside from that, Saraya winning the title in England with her family there was a cool moment, despite her current in-ring work not being the absolute greatest."
RealGrapsThomsen wrote on 02.06.2024:

The action was actually decent and the story between Saraya and Toni was compelling enough. Britt was here basically just because."
SquishGames2411 wrote on 02.03.2024:

The finish was good since Baker was busy working on Shida, allowing Saraya to use the spray paint on Storm to win. It was a feel good moment. The subsequent reign, well let's just not talk about that..."

[6.0] "There's no rigid reason to despise this match so much except for the time length. It's one of the key aspects that acts as a red flag in AEW's progress which has started to resolve with a character-driven champion and a few better matches right now. All women had ample time to shine and more offense was packed in to keep engaged. The Outcasts finally broke up which pushed things to a complimentary prize for Saraya in her hometown. I still don't get the actual reason for the group's formation other than "Hey, we're ex-WWE stars and could make a difference being together! " Did they create any? Nope! 3 out of 5 stars!"

I hate Saraya, she's a shitty wrestler and a worst person, one of the most overrated of all time imo. The fact that like 3 minutes of this 8 minute match is taken up by a shitty angle blows since this was the only women's match on the card, though the AEW women's division has been so much better since this match thankfully. I really hope Jamie Hayter is back for next year's All In because I don't want to sit in that stadium having everyone around me rooting for Saraya again."

[6.0] "People saying this match was an utter disgrace are being disingenuous. The match was quite short but the action within the match was actually quite solid with everyone looking quite good, with obviously Shida and Toni looking looking great but Britt in-ring looked quite solid considering how she's looked over the past couple weeks and even Saraya looked solid. The match was quite fun showing the rapid implosion of the Outcasts once Toni clocked Saraya's mom. Saraya sneakily pinning Toni to win the belt was, in my opinion, the best finish that would give Saraya her hometown pop while letting Shida look like a credible challenger since she wasn't pinned which is good for All Out. Could it have been better and longer, yes that goes without saying but it was by no means an absolute travesty like some people seem to believe The score for this match may be retroactively lowered 3-4 points depending on how All Out goes"

He give the title to one of the worst wrestlers on the roster. Nothing against Saraya but her best days are behind here. The match itself wasn't even bad, there were good sequences and the split of the Outcasts was well done but Saraya's win dragged the match down a lot. Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida had just transitional reigns, they both deserved better. Now I'm sure that the division (that was showing some sings of life) will once again fell off because Saraya is just not good enoguh to be a world champion. Worst match of the show. 5/10 - 2.5*/5*"

Saraya getting a big win in her home country was a nice moment, and while on the short side the match never felt like it went on too long or too short. Maybe people don't like the fact that Shida JUST won the belt, and it does feel like they should have just skipped over that title change, but still, the match did it's job just fine."
JacquesRougeauCanHaveMyWife wrote on 08.09.2023:

The spot with her mother was great and her acting was very good too, but then the stuff with Ruby happened. She ran out to calm Saraya and Toni down, just to get slapped and immidately leave the arena - all that happened in like a minute. Awful. Apart from that it was okay, nothing offensive and it was a nice moment for the new champion."

Shida was just put aside after such a short title reign and didn't really do anything in this match though she was the most adequate looking out of all these four (and is the best in general). Shame"
jejunestars wrote on 06.09.2023:
[4.0] "This match felt like convincing evidence that TK gave up on figuring out a way to use the Outcasts and Saraya storyline as anything but a device to get some pops in England. With her injury and all, it makes sense to focus on character work, but it's been a one note sort of drama since the initial turn. Really not much to say about the wrestling itself except that amid everything else on the card, the quality wasn't up to par. The best spot in this was the Bull's Angelito followed by the facestomp. Apart from that moment, there was very little else I felt hadn't been done in the past months of dreary TV matches. I thought the finish was the worst of the night, absolutely ridiculous."

On one hand, it's a wonderful moment for Saraya winning the gold in front of Wembley Stadium but I tend to think that her in-ring abilities and the awful Outcasts stable go against her reign before it even began and Shida was just a transition, I'm really disappointed. The match itself is correct, nothing to see and is really short. On the other hand, I'm really really glad Toni Storm breaks up with the Outcasts, her title reign is bad just because of the awful booking she got."
BigDouglasFade wrote on 05.09.2023:
[0.0] "Saraya who has been awful since she joined AEW, terrible in ring work, terrible promos and toxic behaviour on social media is given the title by Tony Khan just for the cheap pop in Wembley. People give WWE crap for bad promotional tactics but this was a shocker from Tony Khan, poor Hikaru Shida is given a nothing title reign just to lose to someone who can't work anymore and just be part of the storyline of the Outcasts breaking up which is a storyline somehow less interesting than the Outcasts badly spray painting people in their terrible feuds. Worst match of the night by a mile with only 1 good worker and something that tarnished an otherwise very good show. Oh well gotta get that cheap pop I guess, so much for being the more moral company."

Shida's title reign gets used as a plot device to set seeds for a Saraya/Toni Storm feud which no one wants as Saraya is completely cooked at this point and despite being 17 years younger than Trish Stratus she moves like she's 17 years older. Shida is the only one who can work in the match and got wasted in not having a one on one match. Toni Storm is at least doing good character work so her being singles is fine but the match up between her and Saraya is going to be rather poor."

Could not give less of a shit. Just a complete waste of time to do the most overused and boring tropes in the service of a group who have never been over at any point. Shida, the champ, didn't even exist in this match, she just came out smiling in her entrance looking like an idiot and lost. Just an embarrassing display of a women's division."

The first is the absence of any eyeliner, because the conditional Baker in this match looked frankly superfluous, but they could have somehow done so that she was there in her place. The second is the choice of the winner, and this is bad under any conditions, although it is clear why this was done. If you really wanted to give the title to Saraya in her homeland, then you would bring it to the plot so that it looks beautiful, and do not do it as slurredly as possible and right in the middle of the match. Saraya herself does not look like a good champion in 2023 under any circumstances. And finally, the very quality of the match, which could at least somehow smooth the impression, but no, because it wasnt very good here either."
