[7.0] "That was a fun opener between two flashy risk-takers and tough lads fuelled with a lot of cool spots. A good old spotfest to start the broadcast, and that obviously worked pretty well in front of the crowd gathered in the studio. The atmosphere certainly elevated the whole stuff, as Loco is surely a good asset for ROH. He embodies that indie extravaganza which is the fuel of ROH. Fenix looked pretty cool during the entire bout, the man was on fire. Superb showing for both lads. The finish looked great, also."
[9.0] "On commentary they called these two longtime rivals and that Gringo helped Fenix learn the "American style", which feels like complete BS since they never had a singles match til 2019 when Fenix had already far surpassed Gringo in every way, but even so I was glad to see this pairing pop up. Fenix remains one of the more brilliant singles guys in AEW/ROH, despite their strange reluctance to use him in that division, and with a capable hand like Gringo across the ring it was sure to be a really fun time. And no surprise, it was! They meshed together well and Gringo based well for Fenix to do some particularly cool stuff. Great TV match."
[9.0] "Interesting spinning Inverted Slam from Loco, beautiful corkscrew moonsault landing on a flip piledriver, very good cutter from Fenix, honestly an excellent match, few botches and quite imperactive, I would have preferred Gringo Loco to win, but that's okay."
[7.0] "A nice Lucha expo, with some of the younger fans really getting into Rey Fenix. Good rudo showing by Gringo Loco, properly going for Fenix's mask at times."
[8.0] "Damn fun opener between Fenix and Loco right here which was as good as a match between them of this length could be, everything was really well done in the ring with some sick spots (that Destroyer one was INSANE) and good sequences, really interesting with a lot of action that doesn't stop. Loco is a great asset for ROH to take defeats by offering very good matches and he proved it again, it ruled."
