[8.0] "This was a really good match between Scurll & AJ. I wasn't really expecting a whole lot coming into this match but I must say that I was thoroughly impressed here by Scurll. Scurll really took the fight to AJ and it was a back and forth type match which was fun to watch honestly and some great sequences as well. I did like the there must be a winner stipulation which forced The Revolutionists to leave the ringside area making this a fair fight and giving us a fun match to watch. Overall though nothing too memorable from this match but it was a lot of fun to watch and I do recommend this match as well. ***1/2"
[7.0] "Hätte es mir lieber etwas ausgeglichener gewünscht. Marty Scurll dominiert das gesamte Match und AJ hatte mir leider zu wenig Offensive. Davon abgesehen ein wirklich gutes Match."
[8.0] "Blieb leider hinter den erwartungen. Da war Strong vs Nakamura und das 2 out of 3 Falls Match wesentlich besser. Trotzdem war dies absolut kein schlechtes Match! Insgesamt das 3 beste Match vom Summer Sizzler Event."

AJ Styles hier bei RPW Face sonst Heel und AJ ist auch hier wieder over und hat sich dann einen weiteren Titel in seiner Titelsammlung. Starker Match wo Marty viele Teile des Matches dominierte drittbestes Match des Event."
[7.0] "Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack hat Styles zu wenig Comebacks. Scurll bestimmt im Grunde das gesamte Match da er am Ende verliert. Das ist Old-School (nur mit sehr modernen Moves) und kommt für mich etwas einseitig rüber. Styles wirkt etwas arg zurückgestellt was mich ziemlich irritiert doch unter Strich reicht es auf jeden Fall für viele andere, hier noch mal gute Noten abzugreifen. Für mich simpel sehr gut, aber auch schnell wieder vergessen vor allem im Vergleich mit Damo vs. Ishii und Nakamura vs. Strong (***1/2)."
