[7.0] "Swerve ist einfach ein großartiger Wrestler und Yuta ist ein passender Gegner. Er kann wirklich gut mithalten und macht am Ende den Job. Dazu ist Heel Swerve einfach noch deutlich charismatischer.."
[6.0] "I really want to see Swerve in a prominent heel position already. He'll never carry the company like an MJF, but a second tier champion or major feud with an established star would be great. This was a solid little match between two good workers. Swerve targeted Yuta's leg and the latter sold really well. ***"
[7.0] "Pretty fun match that could have went a little bit longer in my opinion. However, it was still this show's best match. I'm not really sure how I feel about Strickland's faction, but I'm for it as long as it gets Strickland in a prominent spot."
[8.0] "Very cool match between Strickland and Yuta which was a match I didn't think I needed until it happened, a quality match that was everything I wanted to see between two performers as excellent as they are and I wasn't surprised at all by the fact that it delivered, a match I heard very little about but decided to see a little over a month after it aired and it didn't disappoint me at all. In the idea of giving momentum to a Swerve who had just turned heel a few weeks earlier, it was exactly what was needed and let's mention how Yuta is always the perfect opponent in this kind of moment, if you want to see some good wrestling and give your new heel even more credibility give him a competitive match against Yoots and he will come out even more believable than he already was. A little overbooking but not too much either, solid leg-work from Swerve, it was cool and a good way to end the year for AEW."
[7.0] "Violence against pure evil, who's better ? Yuta was on fire, but he encountered a sadistic Strickland, who showcased a good technical craft here. His Moguls' interventions weren't that menacing, maybe Boudreaux was, the other is useless. A great showcase of both men's assets, otherwise. That was pretty clean in terms of action, not the finish, lmao. Swerve's new personality is pretty cool, moreover."
[8.0] "Strickland is off to a new phase that's been clamored for a long time, and it was registered perfectly through this match. His new evil shade was presented very well alongside his always awesome in-ring work. In addition, the opponent he had was a great equalizer in terms of improved character & mastered moves of the craft. Both express their chemistry as rivals nicely with a finish that punched in the new character effectively among the fans. I hope this change of direction means something major for Strickland while Yuta has a platform already set to excel which is ROH. 3.75 out of 5 stars!"
[7.0] "A good showcase for both men's abilities but it wasn't anything more than a good TV main event. Swerve's far better as a heel and Yuta is a terrific babyface."
"Fun main event for an episode of Rampage. Both guys worked hard and it? s always a treat to watch either of them in the ring. I would give this match a 7."
[7.0] "Nothing bad but nothing amazing either. A nice demonstration between two talented opponents, but my involvement in this fight was not extraordinary. 7/10 (3*1/4)."
[8.0] "Fantastic match that was fought with Intelligence & showcased great selling. Swerve is a star. I would not be surprised if he is the one to defeat Orange Cassidy for the All-Atlantic Title in 2023. It does make sense as he defeated someone who is a current champion (ROH Pure Champion) Wheeler Yuta."
[7.0] "It was a fun match, Swerve and Yuta work well together. This could be a start to a good feud for them, although I could also see this as a one-off match."
[7.0] "Solid main event match. Overall, this was a solid match pitting Swerve Strickland and his methodical attack against the resilience and toughness of the ROH Pure champion and Blackpool Combat Club member Wheeler Yuta showed some pretty good booking and may have opened the door for a future shot at the Pure championship for Strickland if he can prove he can win within the rules."
[7.0] "This match was good, but not great. It's a promising start to Swerve's new group of heavies, who are very green but did their job well here. The crowd was behind both Yuta and Swerve, but Swerve is more immediately ready for a prominent heel position. Good athleticism and entertaining match."
[7.0] "This match is another good way to book the midcard. A more of the same of what I wrote about the opener. I wanna see more from them, athleticism, clean spots, a bit of story behind, good work! Good way to end the year."
