[6.0] "Really couldve done without Jay Lethal and Wardlow here, literally every single highlight here was FTR and MCMG demonstrating why theyre two of the best tag teams in the world. Opposing styles that complimented each other perfectly, that opening sequence was so fun. When this became a trios match though, the pace slowed down and it went on far too long. Hated the finish too."

[5.0] "** 1/2. Just an average match that went way too long considering it was a throwaway match on this card. The point was the sweet moment with Daxs daughter afterward, and a short and sweet match could have got us there just as effectively."

[7.0] "It was bit of a filler match, but it's still a pretty solid trios match and it was a cool debut for the Motor City Machineguns."

[6.0] "Decent tag match and great to see the Motor City Machine Guns in AEW, their appearance popped me very hard - {**3/4}"

[6.0] "Another satisfactory match that maybe felt like a filler, in a show full of other important matches. Anyway, both teams looked good and Wardlow seems to be unstoppable. Joes return was nice to see. [***1/4]"

[7.0] "A fun Trios Match here and a nice showcase, of sorts, for MCMG. While this didnt reach the heights previously seen in the AEW World Trios Title Match earlier, this was good for what it was. Either way, it was cool to see Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley wrestle in AEW."

[6.0] "Decent tag team match. It was a big waste for Wardlow and FTR while it was a great showcase for MCMG. Everybody worked well. I dont't know why the referee was so angry during this match. The post match with Harwood's daughter was pretty good. 6/10 - 3.25*/5*"

[6.0] "Solid match, nothing bad at all but had a dead ish crowd and a bad placement on the card, would have been more suited to a main spot on Dynamite but here it is forgotten"

[8.0] "I kind of liked this more than others did. Wardlow and Lethal did their thing and they looked real good but it was the two tag teams that really carried the match. It was a lot of fun watching FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns and i Would love to see them in a traditional tag match. ****"

[4.0] "completely bored me. there was no point of having this match happen other than putting FTR and wardlow on the card."

[7.0] "A fun prolonged contest between these two teams that were put together in a pretty decent way. FTR & MCMG had their confrontations limited but the chemistry was great to watch extending the wish for a pure tag team match between them. This was such a cheap excuse to have them share the same ring but no doubts on their immense talent as well as Wardlow's entertaining power game & Lethal's tactical techniques. The duration might've felt a bit longer and made some bored and I'm one among them. The heel control was a bit tedious to watch since MCMG are respected faces of tag wrestling. So, them being heels here gave a weird aura for the match to drag a bit. The post-match moment for Dax's girl was an excellent memory for her to be remembered for the rest of her life. 3.5 out of 5 stars!"

[5.0] "Sometimes you can put a bunch of talented guys in the ring together and still end up with something which just doesn't work. This was pretty boring for the most part, and the ref was made to look like the biggest idiot in the building. Chalk up another vote for "This should have been FTR vs MCMG". It's weird to see Sabin heel it up in AEW as well. There's quite a contrast with his current portrayal in Impact."

[8.0] "I know this wasn't the most important match of the night, but I really enjoyed it. There have been a lot of good spots and moves, I hope we'll see Motor City Machine Guns vs FTR"

"7.5/10 is my rating for this match.It was a pretty cool match with some awesome moves and wardlow was one more time so strong in this match and such a great booking for him."

[9.0] "That ending part bumped it up one for me not going to lie. FTR still prove to this day how they are the best"

[8.0] "Good match. FTR are always solid and the MCMG did well on their AEW debut. Would like to see them in the tag division, whether for the AEW or ROH belts. Wardlow looked immense, rightly. Lethal looked good too. Only question is why have these guys in a six man? Why isn't Wardlow defending his belt and the FTR defending theirs (any of them! ) or competing for the AEW tag belts."

[7.0] "It was surely too long for what it was, but at least, that delivered. MCMG was great in their roles of taunty heels and gave such a hard time to Wardlow and FTR. I noted that Lethal was a bit overshadowed even if he did a great work, surely the darkhorse. Wardlow looked HUGE. You cut off easily five minutes on this one and I'm pretty sure it would have been way more memorable."

[6.0] "A firmly okay match. It got outshown by the preceeding trios finals match but had its moments. It's nice to see the MCMG and Lethal working together. The post-match stuff with Dax's daughter was adorable."

[7.0] "Really good match. All of the 6 wrestlers worked well. The match did its job and got the babyfaces over, and it was nice to see the MCMG wrestle in an AEW ring. 7/10"

[6.0] "This match was fun in person. Tried to star a F*ck your pencil chant immediately following the crowd chanting for Dutt. Sadly it didn't catch on"

[6.0] "Really underwhelming to be honest. I was not into it and already tired by this point in the show but I can't recall anything that would have made it above average TV level."

[5.0] "I am pretty disappointed to give this such a mediocre rating, and perhaps it is a bit overly harsh, but I was just so underwhelmed by this. It was way too long for what it was, which didn't help matters at all. It was perfectly functional, but all felt very flat and uneventful. I felt bored for a good chunk of it's duration. I really wish they just did MCMG vs FTR instead."

[7.0] "It was fine, but never really got terribly exciting due to two extended heat segments that went nowhere. MCMG had a decent showing and showed flashes of their greatness as a team, but on the AEW roster they need to do more than excessive posing to stand out as a tag team in my opinion. Wardlow looked great, especially the finishing sequence with the Swinging King Kong Lariat or whatever he calls it."

[6.0] "It is pretty cool to see MCMG on such a big stage instead of being stuck in Impact so that was dope. FTR did their thing and got revenge on Sonjay which was pretty entertaining. Wardlow did the powerbombs and Lethal did the injection so all the big moves were hit and done well. That being said, nothing else exciting was going on and there wasn't any neat layers to the storyline so this was just a slightly above average match in my book. ***"

[5.0] "Too much burying of the referee and we didn't get to see what these teams could really do. I guess those are the #1 and 2 things I hate about trios matches in general. Anyway, this would have been way better as FTR vs MCMG or Jay Lethal vs Wardlow. Give 9 minutes to both of **those** matches next time rather than 18 to this lead balloon of a match. AEW is like TNA in that it often has the right ingredients but always manages to fuck things up. You're not missing anything with this match, but it is pretty entertaining- they all are good wrestlers after all. It could be six of anyone out there, though. No personality to it. At least the giant got involved."

[5.0] "I have no reason to care about this match. I? m one of the biggest MCMG fans on the planet and I really struggled to get behind this. It was a decent match, but the story is boring."

[7.0] "Well, such a match that has generally dragged on and it seems that if the dynamics had been preserved as at the beginning, it would have been much better. But there is nothing to scold for, the fighters showed a lot of beautiful things. Motor City Machine Guns have arrived at their defeat and it seems that they can still ask for revenge at least purely against FTR. Wardlow had fun, although he was near the end of the fiasco, but he managed the whole situation thanks to physical strength and comrades. As a result, the symphony of bombs is a 1-2-3 victory."

[5.0] "5.5 - Some of Remsburg's worst work. A little too repetitive and didn't bring the crowd back after a slow start. Good sequence including Lethal's double Lethal Injection."

[6.0] "Had no reason to be interested in this match and it was nothing special. Always nice to see Wardlow and FTR but there was better than this for them."

[6.0] "18 minutes of this was a bit excessive but this was still good. MCMG did some good heel work overall, and FTR, and Wardlow were great as well as you would expect. Seeing Wardlow always hit powerbombs will pop me, the post-match stuff was even better.***1/4"

[5.0] "Is this a satisfactory match? In terms of "workrate" yes, but it's a totally random bout nobody cared abut. Too bad for MCMG."

[7.0] "Not much to say here. Some solid wrestling as to be expected with the talent involved, but the match never really leaves 2nd gear. I know every single one of these guys is capable of a whole lot more, I just don't know why they decided not to show it here."

[7.0] "A very good trios wrestling, although we came from seeing a much better one, this was pretty good too, the best was to see the girl pin Sonjay Dutt, it was very funny."

[7.0] "This was boring in the middle and they didn't let MCMG be MCMG all the way through for some reason but the ending was quite good. FTR really aren't as good as people like to say."

[6.0] "I enjoyed seeing Motor City Machine Guns, but what was the point of this match? No heat, a lazy set-up and if the winner is gonna be so obvious, at least make it an awesome match. Dax needs to get his knee fixed. Wheeler looked good. Nothing spectacular here, derived no benefit by being a six man, and seeing Lethal power-bombed into oblivion was meh for me. He just went down in stock again for no reason. I'd have preferred the heels win and some kind of actual story come out of this. Also, Samoa Joe is back I guess."

[8.0] "Really fun and simple trios match, no huge high points but nothing bad either. MCMG worked really well as heels here despite not being heel in Impact, Wardlow & FTR were as great as always, and the Lethal/Dutt/Singh trio were as despicable as ever. The finish was cathartic and ended this angle succinctly with Dax's daughter being a huge highlight. I had plenty of fun with this, the overall rating's too low IMO. ***1/2+"

[9.0] "This match with the Motor City Machine Guns/Jay Lethal vs FTR/Wardlow turned out to be a great contest that ultimately ended with a hot finishing stretch where it led to FTR hitting the Big Rig on Alex Shelley(? ), and Wardlow hitting the Powerbomb Symphony on Jay Lethal."

[6.0] "This was pretty good, but it made me want a FTR vs. MCMG match more. Built up expectations way to high for this."

[7.0] "It was just kinda there. Biggest pop from me was Sanjay getting his pencil broken by a tough 8 yearold little girl."

[4.0] "I can't lie, this bored me a little bit. I definitely wanted more from this but it didn't get there. This was one of many matches that the crowd reactions really hurt."

[7.0] "Not my favourite motor city machine guns match but featuring them on an aew ppv is enough for me. FTR too just excellent stuff"

[6.0] "The interactions between FTR and the Guns were easily the best part of the match-- as expected. Wardlow remains super, super over. Sonjay remains a beautiful, beautiful bald man."

[7.0] "Using Cagematch's own definitions, IMO this match was between satesfactory and good. Nothing to complain about, but nothing that makes me say, "Yes, that was good.""

[6.0] "Impossible for this to be bad given FTR AND MCMG are here. Would? ve been higher had Wardlow and Jay Lethal(and friends) got lost on way to the ring. Good solid match but nothing more."

[6.0] "I don't know how this went nearly 20. It didn't feel very long but it didn't leave much of an impact on me either. The most memorable thing will obviously be the post-match interference from Dax's daughter, a genuinely heartening moment."

[8.0] "Another very good trios match here, MCMG are great and deserve to be on the big stage, FTR are one of the best teams in the world, the third members of each team no slouches either. There was the odd sloppy spot perhaps due to the teams not being so used to each other, but it was action packed and entertaining, and the post-match events with Dax's daughter were wonderful."

[5.0] "Weird pacing with several heatless sequences. It starts to pick up in the final third but never became good. Wardlow destroying Lethal with the Powerbomb Symphony was at least entertaining."
