[7.0] "I liked Windsor's power vs Itoh's speed and moxie. I had not seen Windsor before this match, she appears to have good promise. Finish looked good and the match never was boring, though that seems a given with Maki Itoh involved."
[7.0] "Windsor's ring presence reminds me a lot of a young Jamie Hayter. Her control over the audience, the way she's able to be a complete unknown against arguably the most beloved wrestler on the roster, and have them reacting exactly as she wanted was seriously impressive. I haven't seen much of her, maybe the odd EVE match prior to the pandemic, but this is something I'll remember. Itoh as we all know has complete command over her character, but over the last year has made strides in the ring, and her strikes looked very good on a much larger wrestler. Fun stuff.I wasn't ready for this Itoh title run to end but it means more Windsor in TJPW in the future. Looking forward to seeing what else she can offer."
[8.0] "This one I suspect I am slightly overrating purely because it was so good to hear a Japanese crowd get properly loud again. Alex Windsor had a great debut and should wear her emergency gear more often, makes her look a badass. I had this on or near ****"
[8.0] "My first time seeing Alex Windsor. Even with her gear missing, she's quite the presence. That cocky British attitude combined with great powerbombs and whatnot. Itoh always brings it."
[6.0] "Alex Windsor made a tremendous first impression here - her performance was on another level compared to Maki Itoh, she was impressive every step of the way, and in the end she beat Itoh's ass and made her cry, which was just a tremendous visual. I don't think it could've gone much better for Windsor in her TJPW debut, and I hope she's gonna stay for a while. On the other hand, Maki Itoh tried to drag this match down so much, that when Windsor had to sell for Itoh it felt like Windsor shouldn't have been doing it, or at least she shouldn't have sold as much as she did."
[9.0] "Some of these ratings just tell me y'all have a specific dislike for Maki Itoh and it's embarrassing. You were and are wrong about this woman, MOVE ON. Anyways, this was the second best match of the show, and to watch Maki control the crowd quite easily was fantastic. Alex Windsor I've never watched before because she's hidden away in Europe unfortunately, and I haven't watched her vs Shoko yet, but holy shit she rules. Can TJPW now snatch her up? Please and thank you. ****1/4"
[8.0] "I was really surprised by the outcome, but in a good way. Windsor (whose gear never arrived on her trip) really impressed and showed that she deserved the title."
[9.0] "Incredible match here, one of the 10 best matches of the year for now and even with that, "only" the second best match of the show. I believe this was the first time I watched an Alex Windsor match, and she gave here a fantastic performance, showing an extremely well done character work, exactly what I research with TJPW. She is the perfect gaijin to face someone like Maki Itoh for the International Princess title, and it probably was the best match for this belt to ever happen. I also loved the fact that with the crowd cheering again, they teased during the match the "Sekai de ichiban kawai no wa ? " from Maki Itoh, which was a very good moment for this match when she finally did it. Windsor was a bit mocking Itoh sometimes, Itoh is someone with character so she didn't let her do this, and she had an excellent fighting spirit in this match. This is absolutely the type of match I love since it does not have at the beginning a tremendous amount of story but even with that, they tell something incredible and it's always so cool to see that. The finish, like everything else in this match, was great and well done. ****1/2"
[8.0] "This is my first time seeing Alex Windsor and she was amazing. Her physique, her striking, her strength, her overall sense of stability. It's surprising that such a gem is on the indie scene and hasn't been picked up by any major international group yet. Windsor was such a formidable opponent that I couldn't imagine a way Maki Itoh could convincingly win against her, and she didn't. In Japanese martial arts, it is often said that a foreigner fighter's first impression is a matter of life and death; regardless of the outcome, they must leave a strong impression on the audience so they can be invited back, and Windsor made a strong impression in her Tokyo Joshi debut. ***3/4"
